治疗因用力劳作导致的妊娠胎动不安，感觉胎动，心腹紧急疼痛。面色发青。出冷汗。头向后仰。气喘吁吁几乎断气。服用各种安胎药物无效的情况。

The condition known as "startled fetus during pregnancy" (Jing Tai) occurs when the pregnancy term is nearly full or delivery is imminent. At this stage, the fetus's spiritual consciousness is fully formed. External physical strain or injury can cause disturbance, leading to fright and agitation of the fetus within the womb.
For treating fetal movement due to exertion and labor, characterized by a sensation of fetal movement, urgent pain in the heart and abdomen, cyanosis of the face, cold sweating, hyperextension of the head, and gasping breath approaching suffocation, especially when various fetal-calming medicines have failed:
Bai Fuling (Poria), Jiegeng (Platycodon Root, removed rhizome), Sheng Gan Dihuang (Raw Prepared Rehmannia Root), Renshen (Ginseng Root, removed rhizome), Guixin (Cinnamon Twig Heart), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, chopped and slightly stir-fried), Gouteng (Uncaria Rhynchophylla), Duhuo (Angelica Pubescens Root).
Sang [ji sheng]
Crush and sieve the above herbs into a powder. Take 4 qian per dose. Add one zhong of water.
Decoct until reduced to six-tenths. Strain out the dregs. Take warm at any time.
For treating pregnancy where sudden visual disturbances startle the fetus, causing downward discharge and instability, palpitations, and heart pain: An Tai Sang Ji Sheng San Formula (Fetal-Calming Mulberry Mistletoe Powder).
Sangjisheng (Mulberry Mistletoe Stem), Xiong [crispum] (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, chopped and slightly stir-fried, each 1 liang above), Bai Fuling (Poria, 3 fen), Gancao (Licorice Root, half liang, honey-fried until slightly red and chopped).
Crush and sieve the coarse powder. Take 3 qian per dose. Add one zhong of water, half a piece of fresh ginger, and three dates.
Decoct until reduced to six-tenths. Strain out the dregs. Take warm at any time.
For treating pregnancy where heavy lifting causes startled fetus over several months, resulting in unbearable lower abdominal pain: Shu Gan Dihuang San Formula (Prepared Rehmannia Powder).
Shu Gan Dihuang (Prepared Rehmannia Root), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, crushed and fried until yellow and dry), Aiye (Mugwort Leaf, slightly stir-fried), Xiong [crispum] (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome), Duzhong (Eucommia Bark, stripped of wrinkled skin, fried until slightly yellow and chopped), Dang [gui] (Angelica Sinensis Root, chopped and slightly stir-fried).
Crush and sieve the coarse powder. Take 4 qian per dose. Add one zhong of water and three dates.
Decoct until reduced to six-tenths. Strain out the dregs. Take warm at any time.
For treating restless fetus due to exertion and fatigue, accompanied by abdominal pain, cyanotic face, cold sweat, and near-suffocation caused by labor-induced fetal fright: Gouteng San Formula (Uncaria Powder).
Gouteng (Uncaria Rhynchophylla with hooks), Fushen (Poria with Hostwood), Renshen (Ginseng Root, removed rhizome), Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, chopped and slightly stir-fried), Jiegeng (Platycodon Root, removed rhizome), Sangjisheng (Mulberry Mistletoe Stem, each 1 liang above).
Crush and sieve the coarse powder. Take 4 qian per dose. Add one zhong of water, half a piece of fresh ginger, and seven cun of scallion white.
Decoct until reduced to six-tenths. Strain out the dregs. Take warm at any time.
For treating pregnancy where fright causes fetal movement, downward instability, and lower abdominal pain radiating to the waist: Danggui San Formula (Angelica Powder).
Danggui (Angelica Sinensis Root, chopped and slightly stir-fried), Xiong [crispum] (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome), Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin, crushed and fried until yellow and dry), Renshen (Ginseng Root, removed rhizome), Bai Fuling (Poria, each 1 liang above), Ai [ye] (Mugwort Leaf).
