平时无小产之患者，服此亦妙，名安胎饮
莲肉（去心不去皮），家用青苎麻（先净胶）三钱，白糯米三钱，水煎，去麻，每早连
汤服一次，单饮汤亦可。
砂仁（不拘多少），放熨斗内慢火炒热透（去筋膜）为末，每二钱，热酒下
鱼胶（ 存性）二两，擂碎，冲好黄酒服。或鬼臼（即南星之小者，用黄色者，不拘多
少去毛），为细末（不用筛簸，只捶之如粉为度），无灰酒一杯，同煎服。每服一钱，立生，
屡效。
自死龟板（炙酥）一钱 妇人头发（烧存性）一钱 当归二钱半 川芎一钱，水煎服。
（并治产门不开兼下死胎）
黄蜀葵花（炒），每三钱，开水调服。无花用葵子四十九粒为末，黄酒调服。如因跌扑
打伤，胎死腹中者，加红花二三钱。
灶心土末三钱，水调服。或黄牛粪敷脐上即出（粪用醋炒亦妙）。并治胞衣不下。
木匠所有凿柄木，烧为末，酒服。或莲花一瓣，写人字于上吞之。
又方 灶心红土为末三钱，黄酒下。
又方 陈年麦草一两，剪断煎服（用旧草帽上麦草尤佳）。或参芦三个，驴乳煎服（羊
乳亦可）。或蟹甲烧存性，研末，黄酒服一茶匙。
对于平时没有习惯性流产（小产）病史的孕妇，服用此方也有奇效，名为安胎饮。
取莲子肉（去除莲心但保留外皮），家用青苎麻（先洗净胶质杂质）三钱，白糯米三钱，加水煎煮，去掉苎麻渣滓，每天早晨连同药汤一起服用一次，只喝药汤也可以。
灶心土与青黛各等分，研成细末，用水调匀后涂抹于脐下部位，干燥后再更换。
砂仁（数量不限），放入熨斗内用慢火炒至热透（去除筋膜）后研成细末，每次服用二钱，用热酒送服。
鱼胶（煅烧存性）二两，捣碎，冲入优质黄酒服用。或者使用鬼臼（即天南星中较小的品种，选用黄色的，数量不限，去除毛刺），研成极细粉末（不需要过筛簸扬，只需捶打至如粉状即可），加一杯无灰酒，共同煎煮后服用。每次服用一钱，可立即分娩，屡试屡验。
自死的龟板（炙烤至酥脆）一钱，妇人头发（烧至存性）一钱，当归二钱半，川芎一钱，加水煎煮后服用。（同时治疗产门不开兼有死胎滞留的情况）
黄蜀葵花（炒制），每次三钱，用开水调服。如果没有花，可用葵子四十九粒研成细末，用黄酒调服。如果是因跌打损伤导致胎死腹中的情况，加入红花二三钱。
灶心土末三钱，用水调服。或者用黄牛粪敷在脐上，胎儿即可产出（牛粪用醋炒过效果更佳）。同时治疗胞衣不下。
木匠所有的凿柄木头，烧成灰烬研末，用酒送服。或者取莲花一瓣，在上面写一个“人”字吞服。
又一方：陈年麦草一两，剪断后煎煮服用（使用旧草帽上的麦草尤其好）。或者取人参芦头三个，用驴乳煎煮服用（羊乳也可以）。或者将蟹甲烧至存性，研成细末，用黄酒服用一茶匙。
For pregnant women who do not have a history of habitual miscarriage (spontaneous abortion), taking this prescription is also effective, named An Tai Yin (Fetus-Anchoring Decoction).
Take Lotus Seed Meat (Nelumbinis Semen) (remove the plumule but retain the testa), Home-grown Boehmeria Nivea Stem (Bomian Ma, 苎麻) three qian (pre-cleaned to remove gelatinous impurities), and White Glutinous Rice (Oryza Sativa Var. Glutinosa) three qian. Decoct in water, remove the Bomian Ma residue, and take once every morning with the decoction; drinking only the decoction is also acceptable.
Mix equal parts of Zao Xin Tu (Caulis Arilli Fictorae) and Qing Dai (Indicum) into a fine powder. Mix with water and apply to the area below the umbilicus. Reapply when dry.
Sha Ren (Amomi Fructus Rotundus) (quantity unrestricted). Place in an ironing pan and stir-fry slowly over low heat until thoroughly hot (remove fibrous membranes). Grind into powder. Take two qian each time, washed down with warm wine.
Take a large handful of Scallion Bulbs (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus) (approximately two to three cun long). Decoct in water and take orally.
Take three sheng of Large Black Soybeans (Glycine Max). Boil in vinegar to obtain a thick juice. Take warm, and delivery will occur immediately.
Take Yu Jiao (Colla Corii Asini) (calcined to preserve its nature) two liang. Pound into fragments, mix with good yellow wine, and take orally. Alternatively, use Gui Jiu (Arisaema Cum Baccis, specifically the smaller variety of Arisaema, using the yellow ones, quantity unrestricted, remove hairs). Grind into a fine powder (no need for sieving or winnowing, just pound until powdery). Add one cup of Huigui Jiu (wine without ash/impurities), decoct together, and take orally. Take one qian per dose, and delivery will occur immediately; this has proven effective repeatedly.
Take Zi Si Gui Ban (Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum from naturally dead turtles) (roasted until crisp) one qian, Fu Ren Fa (Capilli Humanus Carbonatus) one qian, Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix) two and a half qian, and Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma) one qian. Decoct in water and take orally. (Also treats failure of the birth canal to open accompanied by retained dead fetus.)
Take Huang Shu Kui Hua (Abelmoschi Hibisci Blossom) (stir-fried). Take three qian each time, mixed with boiling water. If flowers are unavailable, use forty-nine seeds of Sunflower (Helianthi Annuus Semen) ground into powder, mixed with yellow wine and taken orally. If the cause is trauma from falling or beating resulting in a dead fetus in the uterus, add Hong Hua (Carthami Flos) two to three qian.
Take three qian of Zao Xin Tu powder, mix with water, and take orally. Alternatively, apply Yellow Ox Manure (Bovis Fel or similar topical application context implies feces here, specifically Niuhuang Fen or similar, but text says Niu Fen - Cow Dung) to the umbilicus, and the fetus will be delivered (cow dung stir-fried with vinegar is also effective). Also treats retention of the placenta (Bao Yi Bu Xia).
Take the wooden handle of a carpenter's chisel, burn it to ash, grind into powder, and take with wine. Alternatively, take one petal of a Lotus Flower (Nelumbinis Nuciferae Flos), write the character "Ren" (Human) on it, and swallow it.
Another prescription: Take three qian of Zao Xin Hong Tu (Red Earth from the stove heart) powder, take with yellow wine.
Another prescription: Take one liang of Chen Nian Mai Cao (Old Wheat Straw), cut into pieces, decoct in water, and take orally (wheat straw from old straw hats is particularly good). Alternatively, take three Ren Shen Lu (Ginseng Radulis) and decoct in Donkey Milk (Asini Lac); Sheep Milk (Ovis Lac) is also acceptable. Alternatively, calcify Crab Shell (Xie Jia) until preserved in carbonized state, grind into powder, and take one teaspoonful with yellow wine.
