俗称为“鹅口白”（一种口腔疾病，表现为舌面或牙龈出现白色斑点）：将槟榔烧成炭后研成粉末，直接点涂患处。
名为“翌舌”（一种舌部疾病）：使用百草霜（锅底灰），用酒调和后涂抹，效果显著。另外，也可使用皂矾（硫酸亚铁），在新瓦上焙至红色，放在地上冷却后研成粉末，擦拭舌头，同样有效。
名为“胎疟”（胎儿期受邪导致的疟疾）：冰糖五钱，煎汤，每日饮用，十日可愈。或者使用蝉蜕二两，包裹起来作为枕头让婴儿睡觉。
名为“胎疝”，日后恐怕会发展成“木疝”（一种阴囊肿大坚硬如石的病症）：使用石蟹，用好醋磨成汁液搽抹患处。
老杉木烧成灰但保留药性，加入宫粉（铅粉），用清油调和后搽抹。
头面部或全身生热疮的是：陈锻石、黄柏、滑石各五钱（研细），用桐油调和后搽抹。
连须葱白一斤（捣烂炒熟），分成两包，轮流熨烫脐下部位。或者取少许皂角，吹入鼻腔引起打喷嚏。
连须葱七个，生姜一大块，豆豉、盐各三钱，一起捣碎做成一个饼，焙热后敷在婴儿肚脐上，用布带扎紧停留较长时间，以通利气机。
旧锈锁火烧红，敲打落下铁片，研成粉末，用冷水调服。
苏叶（紫苏叶），研成细末，掺撒患处。如果是干燥的情况，用香油调和敷贴。
牛蒡子捣烂，敷在囟门（婴儿头顶骨未合缝处），可使痘疹不进入眼部。
人乳汁蒸热点涂患处。
兔粪末，用清油调和搽抹。
黄丹、老土砖，共同研成粉末吹入患处。或者用青扣布烧成灰吹入，或用鸭粪烧后掺入。
雄黄末，用清油调和，用鸭毛蘸取擦拭。
葱一握，捣成饼状，敷在脐上，用锡壶盛热水，熨烫葱饼。
取多年覆盖屋顶或墙壁的陈旧稻草，或晒干或焙干，研成极细的粉末掺撒患处。如果全身破损，将其摊在席子上，让婴儿坐卧其中（名为“腐草散”）。
取露天墙上新高处生长的白螺蛳壳，洗净，研成粉末，掺撒患处，不再瘙痒抓挠了（名为“白螺散”）。（同时治疗痘疹不收靥，兼治痘疹黑陷）
Commonly known as "Goose Mouth White Spots" (a oral condition characterized by white spots on the tongue or gums): Burn *Binglang* (Areca Seed, *Arecae Semen*) to charcoal, grind into powder, and apply directly to the affected area.
Named "Yi She" (a tongue disease): Use *Baicaoshuang* (Soot from Kitchen Chimney), mix with wine, and apply; effective. Alternatively, use *Zaofan* (Alum, *Chalcanthitum*), bake on a new tile until red, place on the ground to cool, grind into powder, and rub on the tongue; also effective.
Soak *Dengxincao* (Juncus Effusus Stem) in water and drink.
Named "Fetal Malaria" (malaria contracted during fetal development): Five qian of rock sugar (*Bingtang*), decoct in water, drink daily; cured in ten days. Or, take two liang of cicada slough (*Chantui*, *Cicadae Periostracum*), wrap it as a pillow for the infant to sleep on.
Named "Fetal Hernia", which may develop into "Wood Hernia" (a condition where the scrotum becomes swollen and hard like wood): Use *Shixie* (Stone Crab, likely referring to a specific mineral or crab species used in local medicine), grind with good vinegar into juice, and apply externally.
Burn old fir wood (*Laoshanmu*) to ash but retain its medicinal property, add *Gongfen* (Lead Powder, *Cerussa*), mix with refined sesame oil, and apply.
For heat sores appearing on the head, face, or all over the body: Mix five qian each of aged *Duanshi* (Calamine, *Calaminae Lapis*), *Huangbai* (Phellodendron Bark, *Phellodendri Cortex*), and *Huashi* (Talcum, *Talcum); grind fine, mix with tung oil (*Tongyou*), and apply.
Take one jin of green onion whites with roots intact (*Lianxu Congbai*), mash and stir-fry cooked, divide into two packs, and alternately moxa-iron the area below the navel. Or, take a small amount of *Zaojiao* (Tamarisk Bean, *Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus*), blow into the nose to induce sneezing.
Take seven green onions with roots, one large piece of ginger, three qian each of fermented soybeans (*Douchi*) and salt, mash together into one cake, bake hot, apply to the infant's umbilicus, tie tightly with a belt for a long time to promote circulation.
Burn an old rusty lock until red, knock off iron flakes, grind into powder, mix with cold water, and take orally.
Grind *Suye* (Perilla Leaf, *Perillae Folium*) into fine powder, sprinkle on the affected area. If dry, mix with sesame oil and apply.
Chew fine tea (*Xicha*) and apply externally around the eyes, or use steam-distilled water from *Yimucao* (Motherwort Herb, *Leonuri Herba*) to drop into the eyes.
Grind *Wubeizi* (Galla Chinensis) into powder, mix with vinegar to make a paste/plaster, and apply to the umbilicus.
Mash *Niubangzi* (Arctii Fructus) and apply to the fontanelle (soft spot on the infant's head) to prevent pox from entering the eyes.
Steam human breast milk until warm/hot, and apply/drop to the affected area.
Grind rabbit feces (*Tufen*) into powder, mix with refined sesame oil, and apply.
Mix *Huandan* (Red Lead Oxide, *Plumbi Oxidum Rubrum*) and old brick dust (*Laotu Zhuan*) into powder and blow into the affected area. Or, burn blue cloth (*Qingkou Bu*) to ash and blow, or burn duck feces (*Yafen*) and sprinkle.
Grind *Xionghuang* (Realgar, *Realgar*) into powder, mix with refined sesame oil, dip duck feathers, and wipe.
Chew fine tea until melted, wrap in paper, and apply to the umbilicus.
Take a handful of green onions, mash into a cake, apply to the umbilicus, place a tin kettle filled with hot water on top of the onion cake to warm/iron it.
Take old straw that has covered roofs or walls for many years, dry or bake, grind into extremely fine powder, and sprinkle on the affected area. If the whole body is broken, spread it on a mat and let the infant sit or lie on it (named "Rotting Grass Powder", *Fucao San*).
Take white snail shells from high up on outdoor walls, wash clean, grind into powder, and sprinkle on the affected area; itching and scratching will cease (named "White Snail Shell Powder", *Bailuo San*). (Also treats pox that fail to crust over, and concurrently treats black sunken pox.)
