龟头半边溃烂，这就是所谓的病证，又名蜡烛疳（一种以足趾或手指溃烂如烛芯为特征的疳疮），是从内部开始溃烂向外蔓延的。
用人的脚后跟老皮（在瓦片上焙干后研成粉末），配合黄柏、雄黄和艾叶，烧烟熏患处。
用清酱（即酱油）和蜂蜜混合，温热浸泡患处；或者将桃仁捣碎与蜂蜜调和后涂抹。
用豆腐沫热洗患处；或者用鸽粪白、雄鸡粪，炒熟后研成粉末，煎水每日清洗。
用通草屑研成粉末，用鸡蛋清调和后敷贴。
用生姜、葱白捣碎后与白面混合炒熟，[此处原文缺动词，推测为敷]。
在鸡蛋上开一个孔，将患指浸入其中，三次即可痊愈。

又一方：用一个鸡蛋（去掉蛋黄），放入蜈蚣二分（炙烤后研末），雄黄五分，套在手指上。或者用荔枝肉同麻油嚼碎敷贴。（手足指疔的治疗方法与此相同）
取葱、蒜、姜各自的自然汁一碗，醋一小碗，熬浓后加入飞罗面二两，牛膝四两，熬成膏状，用青布摊开贴于患处，加入凤仙花汁一盏，也可以。

并伴有湿邪

Use old skin from the human heel (baked on tiles and ground into powder), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai, 黄柏), Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄), and Mugwort Leaves (Aiye, 艾叶); burn them to produce smoke for fumigation.
Mix soy sauce (Qingjiang, 清酱) and honey, soak the affected area in the warm mixture; or crush Peach Kernels (Taoren, 桃仁) and mix with honey for topical application.
Peeling of the epidermis on the fingers and palms with exposed flesh and blood is another manifestation.
Wash the affected area with hot tofu foam; or use white pigeon droppings and male chicken droppings, stir-fry until cooked, grind into powder, decoct in water, and wash daily.
Mix White Salt (Baiyan, 白盐) and Sichuan Pepper Powder (Huajiao, 花椒) in equal proportions, blend with vinegar, and apply as a poultice.
Grind Akebia Caulis (Tongcao, 通草) debris into powder, mix with Egg White (Jiziqing, 鸡子清), and apply.
Melt Donkey-hide Gelatin (Ejiao, 阿胶) and apply topically; cover with paper externally for fixation.
Crush Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang, 生姜) and Scallion White (Congbai, 葱白), mix with wheat flour, stir-fry until cooked, [verb missing in original, implied: apply].
This condition is named Subungual Paronychia (Daizhi, 代指).
Make a hole in an egg, immerse the affected finger into it; three applications will result in cure.
These methods are also applicable for treating early-stage Snake Head Carbuncle (Shetou Ding, 蛇头疔), Snake Back Carbuncle (Shebei Ding, 蛇背疔), and Snake Belly Carbuncle (Shedu Ding, 蛇肚疔).
Take two Salt Plums (Yanmei, 盐梅) (pitted) and three large cockroaches (those with white necks are preferred), crush them together.
If treatment is delayed, it may lead to complications such as Snake Head Rotting Joint (Shetou Zhu Jie, 蛇头蛀节) or other carbuncles.
Crush Slug (Yanyou, 蜒蚰) and Vermilion (Yinzhu, 银朱) together, and apply to the affected area.
Decoct Frost Mulberry Leaves (Shuang Sangye, 霜桑叶) in water and wash frequently. Alternatively, decoct one cup of Child's Urine (Tongbian, 童便) and one cup of Yellow Wine (Huangjiu, 黄酒) and take orally two to three times.
Apply raw tofu dregs mixed with Tung Oil (Tongyou, 桐油).
Grind fresh mulberry leaves and apply topically.
Grind ash from decaying ship wood, mix with Tung Oil for application, then fumigate with smoke from burning Platycladi Cacumen (Cebaiye, 侧柏叶).
Take one pig gallbladder, 1.5 qian of Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄), and one Centipede (Wugong, 蜈蚣) (roasted). Crush the realgar and centipede together, place inside the pig gallbladder, and fit over the finger; this is effective.
Another prescription: Take one egg (remove yolk), add 2 fen of roasted and powdered Centipede (Wugong, 蜈蚣), and 5 fen of Realgar (Xionghuang, 雄黄); fit over the finger. Alternatively, chew Lychee Meat (Lizhiren, 荔枝肉) with Sesame Oil (Mayou, 麻油) and apply. (Treatment methods for fingernail and toenail carbuncles are the same.)
Nail Ulceration
Melt Beeswax (Huangla, 黄蜡) and Pine Rosin (Songxiang, 松香) to form a tube, fit over the finger; prolonged use will lead to healing.
Extract natural juices from Scallion (Cong, 葱), Garlic (Suan, 蒜), and Ginger (Jiang, 姜), one bowl each; take one small bowl of Vinegar (Cu, 醋). Boil until concentrated, add 2 liang of refined wheat flour (Feiluo mian, 飞罗面) and 4 liang of Achyranthes Root (Niuxi, 牛膝). Boil into a paste, spread on green cloth, and apply to the affected area. Adding one cup of Impatiens Juice (Fengxianhua zhi, 凤仙花汁) is also acceptable.
Heat like Fire Roasting
Apply water made by grinding Iron Lock (Tiesuo, 铁锁) [likely referring to iron rust or iron oxide].
Roast and cauterize with Soap Pod (Zaojia, 皂荚).
Apply Millennium Calcined Stone Powder (Qiannian Duanshi, 千年锻石) mixed with Sesame Oil (Xiangyou, 香油).

Chew tea leaves and apply, or apply Millennium Calcined Stone Powder (Qiannian Duanshi, 千年锻石) mixed with oil.
