For lesions on the anterior aspect of the lower leg:
Chew crisp roasted flatbread until soft, mix with *Tongyou* (Vernicia fordica oil), and apply topically. Alternatively, burn cow dung until it retains its medicinal properties (*cun xing*), grind into powder, add *Qingfen* (Calomel), and apply to the affected area (sheep dung may also be used). Alternatively, make fried dough from wheat flour, grind into powder, crush scallion whites, and apply topically. Alternatively, mix buckwheat flour with sesame oil and apply topically (effective even for chronic cases). Alternatively, mix *Qiannian Duanshi* (calcined stone/mineral) with sesame oil and apply topically. Alternatively, wash the affected area with strong tea, chew dried tea leaves, and apply the pulp topically. (This condition is often caused by damp-heat and nail scratches; avoid scratching with hands.)
For chronic non-healing ulcers:
Take one bowlful of cotton seeds, roast until crisp, grind into powder, fill the ulcer cavity completely, wrap tightly with oiled paper, change once every three days, and cure after two applications.
Grind *Machixian* (Portulaca oleracea) into powder, mix with honey, and apply topically.
Alternatively, burn lychee to ash, mix with oil, and apply topically.
For lesions on the calf (gastrocnemius region), initially appearing as cracks, gradually exuding yellow fluid and ulcerating:
Wash with cooled decoction of sour pomegranate peel.
Use donkey hoof skin scraped off by a veterinarian, stir-fry in a clay pot until blackened but retaining medicinal properties (*cun xing*), grind into powder, mix with hemp seed oil (*Mahu You*) and apply topically. If the area is moist, sprinkle the dry powder directly.
Boil Chinese cabbage to make a concentrated decoction, and wash the area multiple times.
Alternatively, decoct pigeon droppings (named *Panlong Fen*) and wash with the water. Alternatively, decoct tangerine peel or radish greens (dried ones are acceptable) and wash with the water. Alternatively, decoct holly growing on trees (those from mulberry trees are especially good) and wash with the water. Alternatively, boil beeswax (*Huangla*) strongly and apply the liquid topically.

For "Hair Pain in Finger Clefts" (hair growing in the cleft of the little toe, causing extreme pain when touched), boil *Tongyou* (Vernicia fordica oil) thoroughly, drop a small amount while hot onto the hair to cause it to fall off, endure the pain for a moment, and it will heal.
Mix *Baiji* (Bletilla striata) powder with boiled radish decoction, blend with candle wax oil, and apply topically.
