凡此症猝然舌大，咽喉闭塞，实时气绝
急用皂矾，新瓦上 红，放地上候冷研末，以钳拗开牙关，将药频擦舌上，再用百草霜
三钱，酒调送下。
朴硝、白矾，共为末搽之。或白矾五钱焙红，俟冷研末，搽舌上。
舌硬出血 木贼煎水漱。
重舌乃舌下生舌；重 乃上 皮重如水泡；重龈乃牙床起肿
皆用大针刺患处及紫脉，令出恶血，以生蒲黄末擦之。（并治舌肿满口及舌下牵膜，小
儿亦治）

红芍药、甘草，煎水热漱。或蓖麻子，纸上压取油，将纸烧烟熏舌，若舌上出血，熏鼻
中即止。
炒黑豆煮酒，常漱口。或老姜瓦焙干，同熟明矾擦之。
又方轻粉少许，大蒜一枚，捣烂敷大指下凹处（在前面近脉处），左痛敷右，右痛敷左，
俱痛俱敷即效。惟敷右必于敷处起一小泡，须挑破揩尽水，否则小泡须小痛数日，此仙方，
可断根。
纹银一两烧红，淬烧酒一盏，热漱饮之。
枸杞根白皮，煎醋漱之，虫即出。
又方 韭菜子烧熏牙，虫亦出。
凡人无病，忽然牙齿长，渐至难食，名曰髓溢病
白术煎汤频漱口，若挺长一寸
五倍子一两，烧存性，为末，搽之，或百草霜末搽之。
又方 马齿苋嚼汁含之，或黄豆渣（豆腐店取过黄豆酱之渣）敷之。（此治牙缝出血第
一方）
凡是这种病症突然发作，舌头肿大，咽喉闭塞，立刻导致气息断绝。
紧急使用皂矾，放在新瓦上烧至发红，取出放在地上等待冷却后研成粉末，用钳子撬开牙关，将药物频繁擦拭在舌头上，再用百草霜三钱，用酒调匀送服。
朴硝和白矾，共同研磨成粉末涂抹患处。或者取白矾五钱焙烧至红，待冷却后研成粉末，涂抹在舌头上。
舌头僵硬出血：用木贼煎水漱口。
重舌是指舌下生出一个小舌头；重（此处指重腭或类似症状）是指上颚表皮重叠像水泡一样；重龈是指牙龈床起肿。
这些情况都用大针刺破患处及紫色的血脉，放出恶血，然后用生蒲黄粉末擦拭。（同时治疗舌头肿胀充满口腔以及舌下牵拉薄膜的情况，小儿也适用）
塞住口腔则会导致死亡。
用红芍药和甘草，煎水热漱。或者用蓖麻子，在纸上压榨取油，将纸燃烧冒烟熏舌头，如果舌头上出血，熏鼻子即可止血。
蒲黄炒成粉末，撒在患处，槐花也可以。或者将头发烧成灰，用醋调匀敷贴。
炒黑豆煮酒，经常用来漱口。或者老姜在瓦片上焙干，与熟明矾一起擦拭。
另一个方子：取少量轻粉，一枚大蒜，捣烂敷在大拇指下方的凹陷处（在前面靠近脉搏的地方），左边痛敷右边，右边痛敷左边，两边都痛就都敷上，立即见效。只是敷右边时必须在敷处起一个小水泡，必须挑破并擦尽水分，否则小水泡会引起几天的轻微疼痛，这是仙方，可以断根。
一两纹银烧红，淬入一盏烧酒中，热漱并饮用。

凡人没有生病，忽然牙齿变长，逐渐发展到难以进食，名叫髓溢病。
用白术煎汤频繁漱口，如果牙齿挺长一寸……
五倍子一两，烧至保留药性（存性），研成粉末，涂抹患处，或者用百草霜粉末涂抹。
另一个方子：嚼马齿苋取汁含在口中，或者用黄豆渣（豆腐店取过黄豆酱后的残渣）敷贴。（这是治疗牙缝出血的第一方）
In cases where this condition suddenly manifests with an enlarged tongue, blocked throat, and immediate cessation of breath,
urgently use vitriol (Sulfate of Iron), heat it on a new tile until red-hot, remove it to the ground to cool, grind into powder, pry open the jaw with forceps, frequently apply the medicine to the tongue, and then take three qian of soot from burning straw (Baicaoshuang), mixed with wine for oral administration.
Combine Natrii Sulfas (Piaoxiao) and Alumen (Bai Fan), grind into powder, and apply topically. Alternatively, roast five qian of Alumen (Bai Fan) until red, let it cool, grind into powder, and apply to the tongue.
For stiff tongue with bleeding: Rinse mouth with decoction of Equiseti Herba (Muzei).
Chong She (Double Tongue) refers to a small tongue growing under the main tongue; Chong (referring to palate swelling) refers to the upper palate skin overlapping like a blister; Chong Yin (Double Gums) refers to swelling of the gum bed.
All these conditions are treated by pricking the affected area and purple veins with a large needle to release bad blood, then wiping with raw Polygoni Multiflori Caulis Powder (Sheng Puhuang). (Also treats tongue swelling filling the mouth and sublingual membrane traction; applicable to children as well.)
Blockage of the mouth leads to death.
Rinse hot with decoction of Red Peony Root (Hong Shaoyao) and Licorice Root (Gancao). Or, press castor seeds (Bimazi) between paper to extract oil, burn the paper to smoke the tongue; if there is bleeding on the tongue, smoking the nose will stop it.
Stir-fry Polygoni Multiflori Caulis Powder (Puhuang) into powder, sprinkle on the lesion; Sophorae Flos (Huaihua) can also be used. Or, burn hair to ash, mix with vinegar, and apply.
Boil stir-fried black soybeans in wine, rinse mouth frequently. Or, dry-roast old ginger on a tile, rub together with calcined Alum (Shu Mingfan).
Another prescription: Take a small amount of Calomel (Qingfen) and one clove of garlic, mash and apply to the depression below the thumb (near the pulse on the palmar side); apply to the right hand if pain is on the left, to the left hand if pain is on the right, or both if bilateral pain; effective immediately. Note that applying to the right will cause a small blister at the application site; it must be punctured and the fluid wiped away, otherwise the blister may cause slight pain for several days. This is an immortal prescription that can cure the root cause.
Heat one liang of fine silver until red-hot, quench in one cup of distilled spirits (Shaojiu), rinse mouth hot and drink.
Decoct the white bark of Lycii Radicis Cortex (Gouqigen Baipi) with vinegar to rinse the mouth; parasites will emerge.
Another prescription: Smoke teeth with roasted Leptospermi Semen (Jiucaizi); parasites will also emerge.
When a person without illness suddenly experiences elongated teeth, gradually progressing to difficulty eating, it is called Marrow Overflow Disease (Suiyi Bing).

Grind one liang of Galla Chinensis (Wubeizi) until charred but retaining efficacy (Cun Xing), make into powder, and apply topically; or apply powder of Baicaoshuang.
Another prescription: Chew Portulacae Herba (Machixian) to extract juice and hold in mouth, or apply soybean dregs (residue from tofu shop soybean paste extraction). (This is the primary prescription for treating persistent bleeding from interdental spaces.)
