上 咀，每服二两，水煎去滓，临卧旋服。
治诸般头疼不可忍者。
川乌（炮，去皮脐） 御米壳（去蒂，蜜炒） 橘皮 甘草（以上各半两）
上 咀，每服三钱，水一盏半，煎七分，去滓，不拘时温服。
丁香（一钱） 白芷（半两） 瓜蒂（一两）
上为细末，每服半字吹入鼻中，即瘥。
治气攻头痛如破。
葫芦巴（炒） 三棱（锉，醋浸炒干） 干姜（炮，各一两）
上为细末，每服二钱，不拘时，温生姜汤或温酒调服。及治瘴疟瘥后头痛，服之即愈
治头疼，眼睛如刀刺。
全蝎（糯米炒） 大川乌（去皮尖，微炒，各等分）
上为细末，用韭根取汁和丸，如梧桐子大，每服十五丸，食后用薄荷茶清送下。
天南星 川芎（各等分）
上为细末，用连须葱白同捣烂作饼，贴于太阳痛处。
蓖麻子 乳香（各等分）
上同捣烂作饼，贴太阳穴上，如痛定急去，顶上解开头发出气，即去药。一方无乳香。
上用蒜一颗，去皮研取自然汁，令病患仰卧垂头，以铜箸点少许，滴入鼻中，急令搐入
脑，眼中泪出瘥。
治头痛面赤，烦闷咽干，上膈风痰，头目昏晕，百节疼痛，项背拘急。

上为细末，炼蜜和丸，如弹子大，每服一丸，食后茶酒化下。

将上述药材研成细末，每次服用二钱，不拘时间，用温生姜汤或温酒调服。同时也治疗瘴疟病愈后的头痛，服用此方即愈。
治疗头痛，眼睛感觉像刀刺一样疼痛。
全蝎（用糯米炒制）、大川乌（去皮尖，微炒，各等分）。
将上述药材研成细末，用韭根汁调和制成丸剂，大小如梧桐子，每次服用十五丸，饭后用薄荷茶清送服。
天南星、川芎（各等分）。
将上述药材研成细末，用带须的葱白同捣烂做成饼状，贴敷在太阳穴疼痛处。
蓖麻子、乳香（各等分）。
将上述药材同捣烂做成饼状，贴敷在太阳穴上，如果疼痛停止需立即取下，并解开头顶头发以散发热气，然后去掉药物。另一版本方剂不含乳香。
以上方法使用大蒜一颗，去皮研磨取自然汁，让病人仰卧垂头，用铜筷蘸取少许滴入鼻中，急令吸入脑部，眼中流泪则痊愈。
以上方法用水调决明子末，贴敷在太阳穴。另一版本作为枕头使用，可去头风明目。
治疗头痛面红，烦闷咽干，上膈风痰，头目昏晕，全身关节疼痛，项背拘急。
川芎、防风、僵蚕、独活（以上各一两）、桔梗（三两）、细辛、羌活、白附子、甘草（以上为细末），用炼蜜调和制成丸剂，大小如弹子，每次服用一丸，饭后用茶或酒化开服用。

Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Asarum Root (Xixin), Chrysanthemi Flos (Manjingzi), Ligustici Rhizoma et Radix (Gaoben) [each 2 liang], Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo) [2.5 liang], Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng) [1.5 liang], Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) [0.5 liang].
Crush the above herbs, take 2 liang per dose, decoct in water, remove the dregs, and take immediately before retiring.
Treats various kinds of unbearable headaches.
Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata (Chuanwu) [prepared, skin and navel removed], Papaveris Pericarpium (Yumike) [pedicel removed, honey-fried], Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium (Jupi), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao) [each 0.5 liang].
Crush the above herbs, take 3 qian per dose, decoct in 1.5 cups of water until reduced to 0.7 cup, remove the dregs, and take warm at any time.
Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens Dingxiang (Dingxiang) [1 qian], Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi) [0.5 liang], Cucumis Trichosanthes Fructus (Gua Di) [1 liang].
Pulverize the above herbs finely, blow half a zhi into the nose per dose, and it will heal immediately.
Treats headache caused by qi attack, feeling as if breaking.
Eugeniae Jambolanae Semen (Huluba) [stir-fried], Sparganii Rhizoma (Sanleng) [cut into pieces, soaked in vinegar and stir-fried until dry], Zingiberis Rhizoma (Ganjiang) [prepared, each 1 liang].
Pulverize the above herbs finely, take 2 qian per dose, at any time, mixed with warm ginger soup or warm wine. It also treats post-malaria headache; taking this formula leads to recovery.
Treats headache where eyes feel like being pierced by knives.
Scorpio (Quanxie) [stir-fried with glutinous rice], Aconiti Radix (Da Chuanwu) [skin and tip removed, slightly stir-fried, equal parts].
Pulverize the above herbs finely, mix with juice from Allii Tuberosi Radix (Jiu Gen) to make pills the size of Sophora japonica seeds, take 15 pills per dose after meals, washed down with clear mint tea.
Arisaema Cum Bile (Tiannanxing), Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong) [equal parts].
Pulverize the above herbs finely, mash together with scallion white including roots (Cong Bai) to make a cake, apply to the painful Taiyang acupoint.
Ricini Semen (Bimazi), Boswelliae Resina (Ruxiang) [equal parts].
Mash the above herbs together to make a cake, apply to the Taiyang acupoint; if pain subsides, remove urgently. Loosen hair on the crown to release heat, then remove the medicine. Another version does not contain Ruxiang.
Take one clove of garlic, peel and grind to extract natural juice. Let the patient lie supine with head hanging down, dip a small amount with a copper chopstick, drip into the nose, urge inhalation into the brain; tears from eyes indicate healing.
Mix Jue Ming Zi powder with water, apply to the Taiyang acupoint. Another version uses it as a pillow to dispel wind-headache and brighten the eyes.
Treats headache with red face, restlessness, dry throat, phlegm-wind in the upper jiao, dizziness of head and eyes, pain in all joints, and stiffness of neck and back.
Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Bombyx Batryticatus (Jiangcan), Angelicae Pubescentis Radix (Duhuo) [each 1 liang], Platycodonis Radix (Jiegeng) [3 liang], Asarum Root (Xixin), Notopterygii Rhizoma et Radix (Qianghuo), Typhonii Rhizoma (Baifuzi), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao). Pulverize the above herbs, mix with refined honey to make pills the size of a bullet, take one pill per dose after meals, dissolved in tea or wine.
