治男子妇人中风虚极，言语蹇涩，六脉俱微，舌强不语，痰涎并多，精神
废，不能举运，此等证候，不可攻风，止可扶虚。
天雄（去皮，生用） 附子（去皮，生用） 川乌（去皮，生用，各一两） 木香（不
见火，
上 咀，每服四钱，水二盏，生姜十片，煎至七分，去滓温服，空心食前。
治中风不省人事，涎潮口噤，语言不出，手中 曳，得病之日，便
和，不成废人。卒有此证，无药去处，用之得力。
柏药（一握，去枝） 葱白（一握，同根）
上研如泥，用无灰酒一升，同煎一二十沸，去滓温服，不拘时，如不饮酒，分作四五服
，服尽方进他药。
和气血，散风痰，亦可常服。
上以苏合香丸与青州白丸子打和，姜苏汤化下。
治心中风，发动不知，渐成癫痫，惊悸恍惚。

天雄（去皮，生用）附子（去皮，生用）川乌（去皮，生用，各一两）木香（不经过火炒）
以上药物切碎，每次服用四钱，加水二盏，生姜十片，煎至七分，去渣温服，空腹饭前服用。
治疗中风不省人事，痰涎上涌口噤，语言不出，手中牵引抽搐，得病当日，便和缓处理，不会成为废人。突然发生此类证候，无其他药物可用时，使用此方效力显著。
柏叶（一握，去枝）葱白（一握，带根）
以上研成泥状，用无灰酒一升，同煎一二十沸，去渣温服，不拘时间，如不饮酒，分作四五次服用，服尽后再进其他药物。
调和气血，散风痰，也可常服。
以上将苏合香丸与青州白丸子混合，用姜苏汤化下。
治疗心中风，发作不知人事，逐渐形成癫痫，惊悸恍惚。

以上除另研药物外，其余研为末，加入已研药物共同研磨，直至不见星点，炼蜜和捣三百杵，制成梧桐子大小的丸剂，每次服用二十丸，食后临卧时煎甜竹叶汤送服，每日两次，夜间一次。
Treats all types of stroke (Zhong Feng). First, use opening-orifice agents to prevent limb atrophy and disability. After taking this medicine, take medicines for treating wind pathogens.
Cinnabar (Zhu Sha, separately ground) 1.5 liang, Trogopterus Dung (Wu Ling Zhi) 1.5 liang, Whole Scorpion (Quan Xie) 0.5 liang, Poria with Hostwood (Fu Shen), Dioscorea Hypoglauca Rhizome (Bi Xie) 1 liang each, Borneol (Pian Nao, separately ground), Musk (She Xiang).
Grind the above into fine powder. Take 2 qian each time, mixed with warm wine or a decoction of Schizonepeta and Mint (Jingjie Bohe Tang).
Treats stroke affecting the zang-fu organs and qi obstruction due to wind.
Ginseng Root (Ren Shen) 2.5 qian, Magnolia Bark (Hou Po), Pinellia Tuber (Ban Xia), Patchouli Herb (Huo Xiang), Licorice Root (Gan Cao), Poria (Fu Ling), Atractylodes Rhizome (Bai Zhu), Acorus Rhizome (Shi Chang Pu), Polygala Root (Yuan Zhi, heart removed), Coix Seed (Yi Yi Ren), Tangerine Peel (Chen Pi), Costus Root (Mu Xiang) 0.5 liang each.
Cut the above ingredients. Take 3 qian each time, with one cup of water, three slices of Ginger (Sheng Jiang), and one Jujube (Zao), decocted to 80% volume, then taken.
Treats men and women with extreme deficiency from stroke, slurred speech, all six pulses being faint, stiff tongue unable to speak, excessive phlegm-saliva, mental exhaustion, and inability to move. For such syndromes, do not attack the wind; only support the deficiency.
Aconitum Bulb (Tian Xiong, peeled, raw use), Aconite Lateral Root (Fu Zi, peeled, raw use), Sichuan Aconite Root (Chuan Wu, peeled, raw use) 1 liang each, Costus Root (Mu Xiang, not exposed to fire).
Cut the above ingredients. Take 4 qian each time, with two cups of water and ten slices of Ginger (Sheng Jiang), decocted to 70% volume, strain, and take warm on an empty stomach before meals.
Treats stroke with loss of consciousness, tidal phlegm, locked jaw, inability to speak, and pulling/twitching of hands. If treated harmoniously on the day of onset, one will not become disabled. For sudden occurrence of such symptoms where no other medicine is available, this formula is effective.
Cypress Leaf (Bai Ye, one handful, branches removed), Green Onion White (Cong Bai, one handful, with roots).
Grind the above into a paste. Decoct with one sheng of unadulterated wine (Wu Hui Jiu) for 10-20 boils, strain, and take warm at any time. If unable to drink alcohol, divide into 4-5 doses. Finish these doses before taking other medicines.
Harmonizes Qi and Blood, disperses wind-phlegm. Can also be taken regularly.
Mix Suhexiang Wan (Suhexiang Pill) and Qingzhou Baiwanzi (Qingzhou White Pill) together, taken down with a decoction of Ginger and Perilla Leaf (Jiang Su Tang).
Treats wind-stroke of the Heart, manifesting as unconsciousness during attacks, gradually developing into epilepsy, palpitations, and trance-like states.
Amber (Hu Po, ground), Pearl (Zhen Zhu, ground), Calculus Bovis (Niu Huang, ground), Calamus Tianshu Yellow (Tian Zhu Huang, ground), Ferrum Oxydatum Rubrum (Tie Fen, ground), Dragon Teeth (Long Chi, ground) 1 liang each, Calomelas (Ni Fen, ground).
Saposhnikovia Root (Fang Feng, forked parts removed), Scutellaria Root (Huang Qin), Anemarrhena Rhizome (Zhi Mu, roasted), Asparagus Tuber (Tian Dong, heart removed), Gold Leaf (Jin Bo, 100 pieces), Silver Leaf (Yin Bo), [Text incomplete: "Xu", soaked in rice wash, cut and roasted, 3 fen].
Except for the separately ground drugs, grind the rest into powder. Mix with the ground substances and grind until no specks remain. Combine with refined honey, pound 300 times, form pills the size of paulownia seeds. Take 20 pills each time, after meals and before sleep, taken down with a decoction of Sweet Bamboo Leaf (Tian Zhu Ye Tang), twice daily and once at night.
