治风入耳，虚鸣。

通甘草（炙，各一钱） 川芎（二钱）
上作一服，水二盅，生姜五片，葱白二根，煎一盅，食后服。
治气虚生风，耳内痛与头相连，脓血流出。
赤芍药 白芍药 川芎 木鳖子 当归 大黄 甘草（各一钱半）
上作一服，水二盅，煎至一盅，食后服。
治饮食不节，劳役形体，脾胃不足，得受内障耳聋之患。服此令人精神过倍，元气自益，
身轻体健，耳目聪明矣。
黄柏（酒制，炒） 芍药（各半钱） 蔓荆子（一钱） 升麻 葛根（各一钱半） 人
参黄 甘草（各二钱半）
上作一服，水二盅，煎至一盅，临卧服。
上用《和剂》流气饮，加石菖蒲生姜三片，葱白三根同煎，食后温服。
治风虚耳聋。
辣桂 川芎 当归 石菖蒲 细辛 木通 木香 白蒺藜（炒，去刺） 麻黄（去节） 甘
草（炙，各一钱） 白芷梢 天南星（煨裂，各一钱半）
上作一服，水二盅，葱白二根，紫苏五叶，生姜五片，煎至一盅，食后服。一方加全蝎
去毒一钱。

以上药材作为一剂服用，加水两盅，煎煮至一盅，饭后服用。
治疗因饮食不节制，劳累形体，导致脾胃不足，从而患上内障耳聋之症。服用此方能让人精神倍增，元气自然增益，身体轻健，耳目聪明。
黄柏（酒制，炒） 芍药（各半钱） 蔓荆子（一钱） 升麻 葛根（各一钱半） 人参 甘草（各二钱半）
以上药材作为一剂服用，加水两盅，煎煮至一盅，临睡前服用。
上方使用《和剂局方》中的流气饮，加入石菖蒲、生姜三片、葱白三根共同煎煮，饭后温服。
治疗风虚耳聋。

Rhinoceros Horn (sliced) [Xijiao] (Calcar ossis cornu rhinocerotis), Tong Cao [Mutong] (Medullae Tetrapanacis), Acorus Tatarinowii [Shichangpu] (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii), Chrysanthemum Morifolium [Juhua] (Flos Chrysanthemi Morifolii, branches and roots removed), Scrophularia Ningpoensis [Xuanshen] (Radix Scrophulariae), Red Peony Root [Chishao] (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), Adzuki Bean [Xiaodou] (Semen Vigna Angularis, stir-fried, each 2 qian).
Licorice Root [Gancao] (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried, 1 qian).
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water and five slices of fresh ginger. Decoct until one zhong remains. Take at any time.
To treat wind entering the ear, causing tinnitus due to deficiency.
Angelica Dahurica [Baizhi] (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Atractylodes Macrocephala [Cangzhu] (Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Tangerine Peel [Chenpi] (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae), Acorus Tatarinowii [Shichangpu] (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii, stir-fried), Asarum [Xixin] (Herba Asari), Magnolia Bark [Houpo] (Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis, processed), Pinellia Rhizome [Banxia] (Rhizoma Pinelliae, processed), Perilla Stem and Leaf [Zisuye] (Folium et Caulis Perillae), Cinnamon Twig [Guirou] (Ramulus Cinnamomi, referred to here as Lagui), Tong Cao [Mutong] (Medullae Tetrapanacis), Licorice Root [Gancao] (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried, each 1 qian), Ligusticum Wallichii [Chuanxiong] (Rhizoma Chuanxiong, 2 qian).
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water, five slices of fresh ginger, and two stalks of scallion white. Decoct until one zhong remains. Take after meals.
To treat deafness due to wind and deficiency.

To treat wind generated by qi deficiency, causing ear pain radiating to the head, with discharge of pus and blood.
Red Peony Root [Chishao] (Radix Paeoniae Rubra), White Peony Root [Baishao] (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Ligusticum Wallichii [Chuanxiong] (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Momordica Cochinchinensis Seed [Mubiezi] (Semen Momordicae), Angelica Sinensis [Danggui] (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Rhubarb [Dahuang] (Radix et Rhizoma Rhei), Licorice Root [Gancao] (Radix Glycyrrhizae, each 1.5 qian).
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water. Decoct until one zhong remains. Take after meals.
To treat internal deafness caused by irregular diet, physical overexertion leading to spleen and stomach deficiency. Taking this formula will double one's spirit, naturally replenish primordial qi, make the body light and healthy, and sharpen hearing and vision.
Phellodendron Bark [Huangbai] (Cortex Phellodendri, wine-processed, stir-fried), Peony Root [Shaoyao] (each half qian), Vitex Fruit [Manjingzi] (Fructus Viticis Negundo, 1 qian), Cimicifuga Rhizome [Shengma] (Rhizoma Cimicifugae), Kudzu Root [Gegen] (Radix Puerariae, each 1.5 qian), Ginseng [Renshen] (Radix Ginseng), Licorice Root [Gancao] (Radix Glycyrrhizae, each 2.5 qian).
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water. Decoct until one zhong remains. Take before retiring for the night.
For the above, use Liqi Yin (Flowing Qi Decoction) from *Heji Jufang* (Formulas of the Bureau of Medical Relief), add Acorus Tatarinowii [Shichangpu] (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii), three slices of fresh ginger, and three stalks of scallion white. Decoct together. Take warm after meals.
To treat deafness due to wind and deficiency.
Cinnamon Twig [Guirou] (Ramulus Cinnamomi, referred to here as Lagui), Ligusticum Wallichii [Chuanxiong] (Rhizoma Chuanxiong), Angelica Sinensis [Danggui] (Radix Angelicae Sinensis), Acorus Tatarinowii [Shichangpu] (Rhizoma Acori Tatarinowii), Asarum [Xixin] (Herba Asari), Tong Cao [Mutong] (Medullae Tetrapanacis], Costus Root [Muxiang] (Radix Aucklandiae), Tribulus Terrestris [Bjili] (Fructus Tribuli, stir-fried, thorns removed), Ephedra Herb [Mahuang] (Herba Ephedrae, nodes removed), Licorice Root [Gancao] (Radix Glycyrrhizae, honey-fried, each 1 qian), Angelica Dahurica Tip [Baizhishao] (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae tip), Arisaema Rhizome [Tiannanxing] (Rhizoma Arisaematis, baked until cracked, each 1.5 qian).
Combine as one dose. Add two zhong of water, two stalks of scallion white, five leaves of perilla, and five slices of fresh ginger. Decoct until one zhong remains. Take after meals. Another variant adds one qian of scorpio (Quanjie) [Scorpio] (Scorpio, detoxified).
