生姜汁一碗，牛皮胶四两，葱白汁一碗，砂锅内熬成膏，去火，入麝香五分贴之，三日
一换。
制红粉四钱 乳香二钱（去油） 没药二钱（去油） 儿茶二钱 珍
共为细末。先用温水洗疮，棉花拭净，将药掺上，用竹纸蘸湿粘贴。一日一洗，神效。
水银一两，烟硝一两，枯矾一两，共末。与水银拌匀，入铁盆内，用新粗白瓷碗覆定，
盐泥封固，晒干，以大石一块压上，文武火烧。先文后武，烧三炷香。烧时常看，泥干有缝，
即以湿泥补之，候冷升碗上为红粉。
治一切肿毒初起，围之即散。
芙蓉叶（阴干）五钱 姜黄五钱 白芨五钱 五倍子（炒，去虫）五钱 白蔹五钱 生
大黄一两
共研末，米醋热调，稀糊围之，止留中间一孔。
用鸡蛋一个，开一小孔，去白存黄，入硫黄末三钱，川椒末三钱，将湿纸封固火灰内煨
熟为末。先以麻线将癣刮破，以皮树浆或羊蹄根汁调药末，搽上效。
又方
皂矾不拘多少，炒极干为末。猪油调敷，妙不可言。
又方
多年竹灯挂一个，火上烧出汁，如胶者为妙。另将五倍子去虫，炒研为末，一味和一
处，用陈醋火上温热和匀，搽之甚效如神。
癣生脸上，如钱大。抓之有白屑者，用绿豆捶碎，以纸蒙碗口，针刺多孔，以碎豆铺纸
上，炭一块烧豆。豆灼尽，纸将焦，去豆揭纸。碗中有水，取搽三、五次即愈。

水银一两，烟硝（火硝）一两，枯矾一两，共同研成粉末。与水银拌匀，放入铁盆内，用新的粗白瓷碗覆盖固定，用盐泥密封加固，晒干，上面压一块大石头，用文火和武火交替烧制。先文火后武火，燃烧三炷香的时间。烧制时经常查看，若泥干出现裂缝，立即用湿泥修补，待冷却后，碗上凝结升华为红粉。

又一方：多年的竹灯挂一个，在火上烧出汁液，呈胶状者为佳。另取五倍子去虫，炒后研成粉末，将两者混合一处，用陈醋在火上温热后搅拌均匀，涂抹患处，效果神效。
癣生在脸上，如铜钱大小。抓挠时有白屑的，用绿豆捶碎，用纸蒙住碗口，用针刺许多小孔，将碎豆铺在纸上，用一块炭火烧豆。豆烧尽，纸将焦时，去掉豆揭下纸。碗中有水，取此水涂抹三、五次即可痊愈。
One bowl of ginger juice, four liang of ox-hide glue, one bowl of scallion white juice, boiled in a clay pot into an ointment. Remove from heat, add five fen of musk, apply externally to the lesion, and change every three days.
Fresh juice of Taraxacum officinale (Dandelion), frequently applied as drops, will cause the scaling to fall off naturally.
Four qian of prepared Hongfen (Red Powder), two qian of Resina Commiphorae (Ru Xiang) (de-oiled), two qian of Resina Myrrhae (Mo Yao) (de-oiled), two qian of Camellia Seed (Er Cha), and a small amount of Pearl (Zhen Zhu). Grind all into fine powder. First wash the sore with warm water, wipe dry with cotton, sprinkle the medicine on top, and cover with wet bamboo paper. Wash once daily; this is highly effective.
One tael of Mercury (Shui Yin), one tael of Niter (Yan Xiao), one tael of Calcined Alum (Ku Fan). Grind together into powder. Mix thoroughly with mercury, place in an iron basin, cover tightly with a new coarse white porcelain bowl, seal with salt mud, dry in the sun, and press a large stone on top. Fire with gentle heat first, then strong heat, for the duration of three incense sticks. Monitor constantly; if the mud dries and cracks, patch immediately with wet mud. After cooling, the substance sublimates onto the bowl as Red Powder.
For the initial stage of any swelling or toxic abscess: surround the area with application to disperse it. Five qian of dried Hibiscus mutabilis leaf (Fu Rong Ye), five qian of Curcuma longa rhizome (Jiang Huang), five qian of Bletilla striata rhizome (Bai Ji), five qian of Chinese Gall (Wu Bei Zi) (stir-fried, insect-free), five qian of Ampelopsis japonica root (Bai Lian), one tael of raw Rheum palmatum rhizome (Da Huang). Grind all into powder, mix with hot rice vinegar into a thin paste, apply around the swelling leaving only a central hole open.
Use one egg, make a small hole, remove the white keeping the yolk. Add three qian of Sulfur powder and three qian of Zanthoxylum bungeanum pericarpium (Chuan Jiao) powder. Seal with wet paper and bake in ash until cooked, then grind into powder. First scratch the tinea with hemp thread to break the skin, then mix the powder with tree sap or Rumex crispus root juice, apply to the area; effective.
Another prescription: Any amount of Ferrous Sulfate (Zao Fan), stir-fried until extremely dry and ground into powder. Mix with lard and apply; miraculous.
Another prescription: Take one old bamboo lamp wick holder, burn over fire to extract juice; a gel-like consistency is ideal. Separately, take Chinese Gall (Wu Bei Zi), remove insects, stir-fry and grind into powder. Mix the two together, warm Chen Cu (aged vinegar) over fire, blend evenly, and apply; extremely effective.
Tinea on the face, size of a coin, with white scales when scratched: Crush green beans. Cover a bowl mouth with paper, prick many holes with a needle, spread crushed beans on the paper, and burn a piece of charcoal under the beans. When beans are burnt out and paper is about to char, remove beans and peel off paper. Water collects in the bowl; take this water and apply three to five times for cure.
