胎前大渴。潮热不退。腹中痛。孩儿十月满足无妨。若在七八月孕时潮热起。恐母子两亡。
临产先有水。水干孩儿不下。可用益母散生其水。水泛舟行。孩儿方下。若不生则闭死。

墙上或高处。蛇蜕壳一条。要头向下而完全者。瓦上焙干为末。每一钱加麝香二分。用乳调
生毕即去此膏药。迟则肠出。万勿误事。如已至误者。即将此膏药
。贴产母顶门。肠即收。收尽速去此膏药。断不可再误事。
妊妇面赤口舌焦。指甲黑。此子死也。用斩烂散打下死胎。急救其母。若面不青黑。指甲犹
轻用此方。
肉桂(一钱) 白芷(钱半) 斑蝥(五个) 滑石(三钱) 水煎服。若能连渣服更效。
此症当审其妇。如胞在胸膈难治。其妇必死。若在小腹可治。
胎前出现两侧乳房肿胀，伴有发冷发热，称为“内吹乳”。
这是体内寒邪攻冲至咽喉部位，胃中有痰涎，应当以驱散寒邪、化解痰涎为先。
升麻（三分）、甘草、桔梗（各八分）、防风（一钱），加入玄参（一钱），服用两帖。
这是由于血虚，三焦火旺所致。
川芎、当归、熟地黄、白芍（各三钱），生地黄（八分），黄柏、麦冬（各五分），生姜（二片），大枣（五枚）。煎汤服用也有效。
这是肾虚所致，适宜服用猪肾丸，空腹时用酒送服，七日即可安稳。
胎前出现极度口渴，潮热不退，腹部疼痛。若胎儿十月足月，则无妨。若在怀孕七八个月时出现潮热，恐怕母子双亡。
临产时先破水，羊水枯竭则胎儿无法娩出，可用益母散来滋生津液。如同水涨船行，胎儿才能顺利产出。若不生津液，则会导致闭塞死亡。
益母草（三钱）、麝香（一分）、白芷、当归、川芎、滑石（各一钱）、肉桂（八分），加水煎服。
取墙上或高处的一条蛇蜕壳，要求头部向下且完整无损的，在瓦上焙干研为细末。每用一钱药末，加入二分麝香，用乳汁调匀敷于患处。
分娩结束后立即去掉此膏药，拖延则会导致肠管脱出，万万不可误事。如果已经发生肠脱出的误事情况，立即将此膏药贴在产妇头顶百会穴处，肠管即可收回。待肠管完全收回后迅速去掉此膏药，绝对不可再延误时机。
孕妇面色赤红，口舌干燥焦裂，指甲发黑，这是胎儿已死的征兆。使用斩烂散打下死胎，以急救母亲性命。如果面色不发青黑，指甲尚且红润，则轻用此方。
Swelling of both breasts occurs before delivery, accompanied by chills and fever, known as "Nei Chui Ru" (Internal Blowing Breast).
Use Zaojiao (Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus Spina, one strip burnt to ash), mixed with wine for oral administration.
This is caused by internal cold pathogen attacking upwards to the throat, with phlegm-fluids in the stomach. The priority should be to dispel cold and resolve phlegm.
Shengma (Cimicifugae Rhizoma, 3 fen), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Jiegeng (Platycodonis Radix) (each 8 fen), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix, 1 qian), add Yuanshen (Scrophulariae Radix, 1 qian). Take two doses.
This is due to blood deficiency and excessive fire in the Sanjiao (Triple Burner).
Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Shudi (Rehmanniae Radix Preparata), Baishao (Paeoniae Radix Alba) (each 3 qian), Shengdi (Rehmanniae Radix, 8 fen), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex), Maidong (Ophiopogonis Radix) (each 5 fen), Jiang (Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens, 2 slices), Zao (Jujubae Fructus, 5 pieces). Decoct in water and take; this method is also effective.
This is due to Kidney deficiency. It is suitable to take Zhushen Wan (Pig Kidney Pill), taken orally with wine on an empty stomach. Stability will be achieved within seven days.
Excessive thirst, unremitting tidal fever, and abdominal pain occur before delivery. If the fetus reaches full term at ten months, there is no harm. However, if tidal fever arises during the seventh or eighth month of pregnancy, it is feared that both mother and child may perish.
During labor, if the waters break first and dry up, the child cannot descend. Yimu San (Motherwort Powder) can be used to generate fluids. Just as a boat floats when water rises, the child can then descend. If fluids are not generated, closure and death will result.
Yimucao (Leonuri Herba, 3 qian), Shexiang (Musk, 1 fen), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Chuan Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chuanxiong (Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Huashi (Talcum) (each 1 qian), Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 8 fen). Decoct in water and take.
Take one snake skin shed from a wall or high place, ensuring the head points downward and it is complete. Roast on a tile until dry, grind into powder. For every 1 qian of powder, add 2 fen of Shexiang (Musk). Mix with breast milk and apply topically.
Remove this plaster immediately after birth; delay will cause prolapse of the intestines. Do not make mistakes. If prolapse has already occurred, apply this plaster to the Dingmen point (Baihui, GV20) on the mother's head. The intestines will retract. Once fully retracted, remove the plaster immediately. Do not delay further.
If the pregnant woman has a red face, dry and cracked tongue and lips, and black fingernails, this indicates fetal death. Use Zhanlan San (Slashing and Rotting Powder) to expel the dead fetus and urgently save the mother. If the face is not cyanotic or black, and the nails are still pink, use this formula lightly.
Rougui (Cinnamomi Cortex, 1 qian), Baizhi (Angelicae Dahuricae Radix, 1.5 qian), Banmao (Mylabris, 5 insects), Huashi (Talcum, 3 qian). Decoct in water and take. Taking it with the dregs is more effective.
This condition requires examining the woman. If the placenta is lodged in the chest and diaphragm, it is difficult to treat, and the woman will surely die. If it is located in the lower abdomen, it is treatable.
