气血充实胎自安，冲任虚弱损胎元。暴怒房劳伤肝肾，疾病相干跌扑颠。五月成形名小产，未成形象
堕胎言。无故至期数小产，须慎胎为欲火煎。
【注】孕妇气血充足，形体壮实，则胎气安固。若冲、任二经虚损，则胎不成实。或
因暴怒伤肝，房劳伤肾，则胎气不固，易致不安；或受孕之后，患生他疾，干犯胎气，致
胎不安者亦有之；或因跌扑筑磕，从高坠下，以致伤胎、堕胎者亦有之。然小产、堕胎，亦
自有别∶五、七月已成形象者，名为小产；三月未成形象者，谓之堕胎。以上小产、堕胎
皆出有因。若怀胎三、五、七月，无故而胎自堕，至下次受孕亦复如是，数数堕胎，则
谓之滑胎。多因房劳太过，欲火煎熬，其胎因而不安，不可不慎者也。
加味圣愈汤 加味佛手散 十圣散 加味芎 汤 益母丸
胎伤腹痛血未下，圣愈汤加杜续砂。下血腹痛佛手散，胶艾杜续术芩加。十全续缩减苓桂，因病
伤胎十圣夸，跌扑芎 调益母，怒劳逍遥地黄佳。
【注】妊娠胎伤，若腹痛不下血者，宜用圣愈汤加杜仲、续断、砂仁安之。若下血腹
痛者，宜用佛手散加阿胶、蕲艾、杜仲、续断、白术、条芩安之。若因母病，以致伤胎
欲堕者，宜十圣散，即十全大补汤减茯苓、肉桂，加续断、砂仁。若因跌扑筑磕，伤胎欲
堕者，宜芎 汤调益母丸服之（芎 汤即川芎、当归也）。若暴怒、房劳伤肝肾，以致胎
动不安者，宜逍遥散、地黄汤治之。

气血充盈，胎儿自然安稳；冲脉与任脉虚弱，则损伤胎元。暴怒或房事过度会损伤肝肾，疾病干扰或跌打撞击也会导致不安。怀孕五个月胎儿成形称为小产，未成形时流产称为堕胎。若无缘由地多次在预定期限前流产，必须谨慎对待，这往往是因为欲火煎熬所致。
【注】孕妇如果气血充足、身体壮实，那么胎气就会稳固。如果冲脉和任脉这两条经络虚损，胎儿就无法发育成熟。或者因为暴怒伤肝、房劳伤肾，导致胎气不固，容易引发不安；或者受孕之后患上其他疾病，干扰了胎气，导致胎不安的情况也存在；或者因为跌打碰撞、从高处坠落，导致伤胎或堕胎的情况也存在。然而，小产和堕胎是有区别的：在五、七个月时胎儿已经成形的，称为小产；三个月时还未成形的，称为堕胎。以上所说的小产、堕胎都是有原因的。如果在怀孕三、五、七月时，没有原因而胎儿自行流产，且下次怀孕时也再次发生这种情况，频繁流产，这就称为滑胎。这多因房事过度，欲火煎熬，导致胎儿不安，不可不谨慎。
加味圣愈汤、加味佛手散、十圣散、加味芎劳汤、益母丸。
若胎伤腹痛但无出血，用圣愈汤加杜仲、续断、砂仁治疗。若下血且腹痛，用佛手散加阿胶、蕲艾、杜仲、续断、白术、黄芩治疗。若因母亲患病导致伤胎欲流产，用十圣散（即十全大补汤减去茯苓、肉桂，加入续断、砂仁）。若因跌打撞击伤胎欲流产，用川芎汤送服益母丸（川芎汤即由川芎、当归组成）。若因暴怒、房劳损伤肝肾，导致胎动不安，用逍遥散、地黄汤治疗。
When Qi and Blood are abundant, the fetus remains secure naturally; when the Chong (Penetrating) and Ren (Conception) vessels are deficient, the fetal origin is damaged. Sudden anger or excessive sexual activity damages the Liver and Kidney; diseases interfering with the body or falls and blows also cause insecurity. Miscarriage at five months when the fetus has formed is termed "small birth" (Xiao Chan); abortion before formation is termed "falling of the fetus" (Duo Tai). If miscarriages occur repeatedly at expected intervals without obvious cause, one must exercise caution, as this is often due to the simmering of desire fire.
[Note] If a pregnant woman has sufficient Qi and Blood and a robust physique, the fetal Qi will be stable. If the Chong and Ren meridians are deficient, the fetus cannot develop fully. Alternatively, sudden anger may damage the Liver, and sexual fatigue may damage the Kidney, causing unstable fetal Qi and leading to insecurity; or after conception, contracting other illnesses may interfere with fetal Qi, causing insecurity; or falls, collisions, and jumping from heights may injure the fetus or cause abortion. However, there is a distinction between small birth and falling of the fetus: when the fetus has taken shape at five or seven months, it is called small birth; when it has not taken shape at three months, it is called falling of the fetus. The aforementioned cases of small birth and falling of the fetus all have specific causes. If the fetus spontaneously aborts at three, five, or seven months of pregnancy without cause, and this recurs in subsequent pregnancies, frequently resulting in abortion, it is termed "slippery fetus" (Hua Tai). This is mostly due to excessive sexual activity and the simmering of desire fire, which makes the fetus insecure; thus, caution is essential.
Jiawei Shengyu Decoction (Modified Shengyu Decoction), Jiawei Foshou Powder (Modified Hand-Holding Powder), Shisheng San (Ten-Saint Powder), Jiawei Xiong Lao Tang (Modified Ligusticum and Asarum Decoction), Yimu Wan (Motherwort Pill).
If fetal injury causes abdominal pain without bleeding, use Shengyu Decoction supplemented with Duzhong (Eucommia Bark), Xuduan (Dipsacus Root), and Sharen (Amomum Fruit) to stabilize it. If there is bleeding accompanied by abdominal pain, use Foshou Powder supplemented with Ejiao (Donkey-hide Gelatin), Qiai (Artemisia Argyi Leaf), Duzhong (Eucommia Bark), Xuduan (Dipsacus Root), Baizhu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome), and Huangqin (Scutellaria Root) to stabilize it. If maternal illness threatens the fetus and induces impending abortion, use Shisheng San, which is Shiquan Dabu Decoction (Ten Great Tonifying Decoction) minus Fuling (Poria) and Rougui (Cinnamon Bark), plus Xuduan (Dipsacus Root) and Sharen (Amomum Fruit). If fetal injury from falls or collisions threatens abortion, administer Yimu Wan (Motherwort Pill) washed down with Xiongtang (Ligusticum Decoction, composed of Chuanxiong and Danggui). If sudden anger or sexual fatigue damages the Liver and Kidney, causing fetal restlessness, treat with Xiaoyao San (Free and Easy Wanderer Powder) and Dihuang Tang (Rehmannia Decoction).
