马通粟粒丸

治疗咳嗽、呼吸短促。胸中感觉吸气困难。咳吐出的痰液浓稠、有臭味且粘腻。取竹沥一合服用。每天三四次。
木香半夏丸
治疗肺胃有寒引起的咳嗽。
木香 半夏（用汤水泡七次后焙干） 肉豆蔻（用面包裹煨熟，各一两） 藿香（去土） 丁香 白术（各半两）
以上药物研为细末。用生姜自然汁调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸。用人参汤送服。不限时间。
白蚬壳散
治疗突然发作的剧烈咳嗽不止。取白蚬壳不拘多少量。捣碎研磨至极细。每次服用半钱。用米饮调下。不限时间。
五灵脂丸
治疗久咳逐渐导致身体虚弱消瘦。担心转变为疳积劳损。
五灵脂（去除沙石半两） 蟾蜍头（一枚，用酥油炙烤至黄） 蝉蜕（去土半两，微炒） 款冬花（去枝梗半两） 青黛（一分，研细） 雄黄（一分，研细，水飞法）
以上药物共同研磨均匀细腻。用糯米饭调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸。用人参汤送服。饭后服用。
人参半夏丸
治疗痰饮引起的咳嗽。
人参（去芦头） 半夏（用汤水泡七次） 白术 川姜（炮制） 南星（微炒，各半两）
以上药物研为细末。用生姜自然汁煮成糊状。调和制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸。用姜汤送服。一个月内的婴儿做成针头大小。在乳头上吮服。不限时间。
马兜铃丸
治疗肺气壅塞引起的咳嗽气喘。大便不通利。
马兜铃 紫苏子（炒） 人参（去芦，各一两） 木香 款冬花（去枝梗，各半两） 杏仁（用汤浸泡去皮尖，研碎后加入一分）
以上前五味药先研为细末。加入杏仁末拌匀再研磨。用炼蜜调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸。用生姜汤送服。不限时间。
百合汤
治疗肺经受风寒。痰液壅塞不利。
百合 紫菀（清洗焙干） 白术 人参（去芦，各一两） 白茯苓（去黑皮） 青皮（去瓤） 甘草 麦门冬（去心，各半两）
以上药物研为细末。每次服用一钱。用水八分。加入淡竹叶三片。薄荷二叶。煎煮至剩余五分。滤去药渣，温服。不限时间。
爽神汤
消除寒痰。清除肺壅。清神爽意。
白术 人参（去芦） 白茯苓（各一两） 桔梗（去芦） 栝蒌 甘草（各半两） 细辛（去苗一钱）
以上药物研为细末。每次服用一钱。用水八分。加入荆芥、薄荷各少许。煎煮至剩余五分。滤去药渣，温服。不限时间。
苏香汤
治疗肺壅。消除痰滞。

以上药物研为细末。每次服用半钱。加入少许生姜自然汁。用荆芥汤调下。不限时间。
蝉壳汤
治疗肺气壅滞不利。

神曲汤
治疗痰涎壅滞。气机不和顺。腹部和胁部胀满闷痛。
神曲（一两，微炒） 木香（一两） 半夏（一两，用生姜半斤同捣烂炒至黄色，姜指生姜） 芜荑（一两） 青皮（去瓤半两，炒） 甘草（半两，炙） 白茯苓（半两）
以上药物研为细末。每次服用半钱。加少许盐。用沸水调温服。不限时间。
白金丹
消除肺壅痰实。治疗胸膈不适。
桑白皮（一两，锉碎） 前胡（去芦一两） 半夏（一两，用汤水泡七次） 白术（一两） 人参（去芦半两） 陈皮（半两） 甘遂（一分，微炒）
以上药物研为细末。用炼蜜调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。温水送服五到七丸。一到二岁的幼儿服三丸。一岁以上的酌情增加剂量。不限时间。
前胡半夏丸
治疗风热痰实。肺气壅滞。口水流出。
前胡（去芦一两） 半夏（一两，用汤水泡七次后焙干） 大黄（半两，炮制） 麦门冬（去心半两） 川朴硝（半两）
以上药物研为细末。用生姜自然汁调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸。用人参汤送服。不限时间。
犀角丸
治疗风热导致的面部发红。胃气不和。大小便涩滞不畅。（“沥”音同“涩”）痰实涎多。三焦壅滞以及积热蕴毒。
生犀角末（一分） 人参（去芦半两） 黄连（去须一两） 枳实（去瓤炒半两） 槟榔（半两） 大黄（二两，酒浸一夜，切片，将一百粒去壳皮的巴豆贴在大黄上，用纸包好，在饭上蒸三次，去掉巴豆，切碎研细，炒焦）
以上药物研为细末。用炼蜜调和，制成如麻子大小的丸剂。每次服用五到七丸。临睡前用熟水送服。若未通便，可增加丸数。服用这种疏利非常稳妥的药物。
治疗小儿痰壅肚热等各种疾病 用鸡蛋和乱发熬煮很久。得到汁液给患儿服用。效果良好。
枳壳汤
治疗痰实导致肚子发热。心胸烦闷。气机不调顺。如果不早治疗，恐怕引发惊痫。
枳壳（一两，去瓤，麸炒） 干姜（半两，炮制） 甘草（半两） 前胡（去芦一两） 木香（一两） 半夏（一两，汤洗七次）
以上药物研为细末。每次服用一钱。用水一小盏。加入生姜三片。陈皮一片。煎煮至剩余六分。滤去药渣，温服。不限时间。
温脾丸
治疗脾胃宿冷。口角流涎。（如果涎水浸渍下巴颏，口角生疮，名叫“滞颐”。另外在后面单独列出）
丁香（一两） 木香（一两） 半夏（一两，用生姜六两同捣烂炒至黄色） 青皮（去瓤半两，炒） 白术（半两） 干姜（半两，微炒）
以上药物研为细末。用炼蜜调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸。用米饮送服。不限时间。
丁香汤
治疗如上所述的情况。
丁香（一两） 白术（半两） 肉豆蔻（用麸皮包裹煨熟半两） 半夏（半两，用白矾水浸泡一夜洗净炒黄） 干姜（半两，炮制） 甘草（半两） 人参（去芦半两）
以上药物研为细末。每次服用一钱。用水八分。加入生姜两片。煎煮至剩余五分。滤去药渣，温服。不限时间。
治疗小儿口中流涎 将白羊屎放入口中。
麻黄汤
治疗小儿肺经受风邪。喘息急促，耸肩呼吸。气机上逆不安。

以上药物切碎。每次服用二钱。用水一盏。煎煮至剩余六分。滤去药渣服用。不限时间。
马通粟粒丸
治疗小儿喘息急促，耸肩呼吸，气机上逆。胁下疼痛。寒热往来。不进乳食。逐渐变成瘦弱。
马粪中的粟米粒（三分） 杏仁（用汤浸泡去皮尖） 紫菀（去芦） 细辛（去苗，各半两） 石膏 秦艽（去芦）
半夏（用汤水泡七次） 茯苓（去皮） 五味子（去枝梗，各一分）
以上药物研为细末。用炼蜜制成如小豆大小的丸剂。每次服用十丸。用生姜汤送服。每天三次。增加到十二丸。不限时间。
Platycodon Root (Jiegeng) (remove rhizome, 0.5 liang), Licorice Root (Gancao) (0.5 liang, honey-fried), Perilla Leaf (Zisuye) (0.5 liang, remove soil and lightly fried), Gypsum (Shigao) (0.5 liang), Pinellia Tuber (Banxia) (0.5 liang, soaked in boiling water seven times),
Soap Pod (Zaojiao) (1 fen, burnt to ash but retaining its nature).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Take 1 qian per dose. Add 1 sheng of water and 3 slices of fresh ginger. Decoct until 0.5 sheng remains. Strain and let cool to warm temperature. Take at any time.
Bamboo Sap (Danzhuli)
Indicated for cough with shortness of breath. Sensation of difficult inhalation in the chest. Expectoration of thick, foul-smelling, and sticky phlegm. Administer 1 he of bamboo sap orally. Take 3-4 times daily.
Muskostelema and Pinellia Pill (Muxiang Banxia Wan)
Indicated for cough caused by cold in the Lung and Stomach.
Costus Root (Muxiang), Pinellia Tuber (Banxia) (soaked in boiling water seven times and dried), Nutmeg (Roudoukou) (wrapped in flour and baked, each 1 liang), Agastache Herb (Huoxiang) (remove soil), Clove Flower Bud (Dingxiang), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu) (each 0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with fresh ginger juice to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 10 pills per dose. Swallow with Ginseng Decoction. Take at any time.
White Clam Shell Powder (Baixianke San)
Indicated for sudden onset of persistent severe cough. Take an appropriate amount of white clam shells. Pound and grind to extreme fineness. Take 0.5 qian per dose. Mix with rice drink and swallow. Take at any time.
Trogopterus Dung Pill (Wulingzhi Wan)
Indicated for chronic cough leading to emaciation and weakness. To prevent transformation into infantile malnutrition and consumption disease (Gan Lao).
Trogopterus Dung (Wulingzhi) (remove sand and stones, 0.5 liang), Toad Head (Chantou) (one piece, fried in butter until yellow), Cicada Slough (Chanke) (remove soil, 0.5 liang, lightly fried), Winter Flower Bud (Kuandonghua) (remove stems, 0.5 liang), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai) (1 fen, ground), Realgar (Xionghuang) (1 fen, ground using water flotation method).
Grind all ingredients together until uniform and fine. Mix with glutinous rice paste to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 10 pills per dose. Swallow with Ginseng Decoction. Take after meals.
Ginseng and Pinellia Pill (Renshen Banxia Wan)
Indicated for cough due to Phlegm-Fluid retention.
Ginseng Root (Renshen) (remove rhizome), Pinellia Tuber (Banxia) (soaked in boiling water seven times), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu), Sichuan Ginger (Chuanjiang) (processed), Arisaema Rhizome (Nanxing) (lightly fried, each 0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Cook with fresh ginger juice to make a paste. Mix to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 10 pills per dose. Swallow with Ginger Decoction. For infants within one month old, make pills the size of needle heads. Apply to the nipple for sucking. Take at any time.
Aristolochia Vine Pill (Madouliao Wan)
Indicated for cough and asthma due to Lung Qi obstruction. Constipation or difficulty in defecation.
Aristolochia Vine (Madouliao), Perilla Seed (Zisuzi) (fried), Ginseng Root (Renshen) (remove rhizome, each 1 liang), Costus Root (Muxiang), Winter Flower Bud (Kuandonghua) (remove stems, each 0.5 liang), Apricot Seed (Xingren) (soaked in boiling water, skin and tips removed, ground, add 1 fen).
Grind the first five ingredients into powder. Mix with apricot seed powder and grind again. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take 10 pills per dose. Swallow with Ginger Decoction. Take at any time.
Lily Bulb Decoction (Baihe Tang)
Indicated for Wind-Cold invading the Lung channel. Phlegm accumulation and obstruction.
Lily Bulb (Baihe), Aster Root (Ziwan) (wash and dry), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu), Ginseng Root (Renshen) (remove rhizome, each 1 liang), White Poria (Baifuling) (remove black skin), Green Tangerine Peel (Qingpi) (remove pith), Licorice Root (Gancao), Ophiopogon Tuber (Mendong) (remove heart, each 0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Take 1 qian per dose. Add 0.8 sheng of water, 3 slices of light bamboo leaf, and 2 leaves of mint. Decoct until 0.5 sheng remains. Strain and take warm. Take at any time.
Refreshing Spirit Decoction (Shuangshen Tang)
Eliminates Cold-Phlegm. Clears Lung obstruction. Refreshes the spirit and clarifies the mind.
Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu), Ginseng Root (Renshen) (remove rhizome), White Poria (Baifuling) (each 1 liang), Platycodon Root (Jiegeng) (remove rhizome), Trichosanthes Fruit (Gualou), Licorice Root (Gancao) (each 0.5 liang), Asarum Root (Xixin) (remove seedlings, 1 qian).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Take 1 qian per dose. Add 0.8 sheng of water, and a small amount of Schizonepeta Spike (Jingjie) and Mint (Bohe). Decoct until 0.5 sheng remains. Strain and take warm. Take at any time.
Perilla and Muskostelema Decoction (Suxiang Tang)
Indicated for Lung obstruction. Eliminates Phlegm stagnation.
Perilla Leaf (Zisuye) (remove soil), Costus Root (Muxiang), Ginseng Root (Renshen) (remove rhizome, each 0.5 liang), Schisandra Berry (Wuweizi) (remove stems), Licorice Root (Gancao), Tangerine Peel (Chenpi) (each 0.5 liang).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Take 0.5 qian per dose. Add a little fresh ginger juice. Mix with Schizonepeta Decoction and swallow. Take at any time.
Cicada Slough Decoction (Chanke Tang)
Indicated for Lung Qi obstruction and dysfunction.
Cicada Slough (Chanke) (remove soil, lightly fried), Ginseng Root (Renshen) (remove rhizome), Schisandra Berry (Wuweizi) (remove stems, each 1 liang), Tangerine Peel (Chenpi), Licorice Root (Gancao) (honey-fried, each 0.5 liang).

Medicated Leaven Decoction (Shenqu Tang)
Indicated for Phlegm-Saliva obstruction. Disharmonious Qi mechanism. Fullness and oppression in the abdomen and hypochondrium.
Medicated Leaven (Shenqu) (1 liang, lightly fried), Costus Root (Muxiang) (1 liang), Pinellia Tuber (Banxia) (1 liang, pounded with 0.5 jin of fresh ginger until mushy, then fried until yellow; "ginger" refers to fresh ginger), Myrobalan (Wuyi) (1 liang), Green Tangerine Peel (Qingpi) (remove pith, 0.5 liang, fried), Licorice Root (Gancao) (0.5 liang, honey-fried), White Poria (Baifuling) (0.5 liang).

Peucedanum and Pinellia Pill (Qianhu Banxia Wan)
Indicated for Wind-Heat Phlegm-Excess. Lung Qi obstruction. Saliva flowing from the mouth.

Rhinoceros Horn Pill (Xijiao Wan)

Raw Rhinoceros Horn Powder (Shengxi mo) (1 fen), Ginseng Root (Renshen) (remove rhizome, 0.5 liang), Coptis Rhizome (Huanglian) (remove stamens, 1 liang), Immature Bitter Orange (Zhishi) (remove pith, fried, 0.5 liang), Areca Seed (Binglang) (0.5 liang), Rhubarb (Dahuang) (2 liang, soaked in wine overnight, sliced, place 100 shell-free Croton Seeds (Badou) on the rhubarb slices, wrap in paper, steam over rice three times, remove Badou, chop, grind, and fry until scorched).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Mix with refined honey to form pills the size of sesame seeds. Take 5-7 pills per dose. Swallow with cooked water before bedtime. If bowel movement does not occur, increase the number of pills. This medication provides very stable purgative action.

Citrus Aurantium Decoction (Zhiqiao Tang)
Indicated for abdominal heat due to Phlegm-Excess. Restlessness and oppression in the heart and diaphragm. Disharmonious Qi mechanism. If not treated early, may lead to convulsions and epilepsy.

Spleen-Warming Pill (Wenpi Wan)
Indicated for chronic cold in the Spleen and Stomach. Saliva flowing from the corners of the mouth. (If saliva soaks the chin and cheeks, causing sores at the mouth corners, it is called "Zhiyi". Listed separately later).

To treat saliva flowing from the mouth in infants: Place white sheep dung in the mouth.
Ephedra Decoction (Mahuang Tang)
Indicated for Wind pathogen invading the Lung channel in infants. Rapid panting, shoulder breathing. Upward reversal of Qi causing restlessness.
Ephedra Herb (Mahuang) (remove roots and joints, 2 liang), Pinellia Tuber (Banxia), Fresh Ginger (Shengjiang) (each 2 liang, made into Qu), Licorice Root (Gancao) (1 liang), Cassia Twig (Guixin) (0.5 liang).
Schisandra Berry (Wuweizi) (remove stems, 0.5 sheng).
Cut the herbs. Take 2 qian per dose. Add 1 sheng of water. Decoct until 0.6 sheng remains. Strain and take. Take at any time.
Horse Manure Millet Grain Pill (Matong Sulian Wan)
Indicated for rapid panting, shoulder breathing, and upward reversal of Qi in infants. Pain in the hypochondrium. Alternating chills and fever. Refusal to suck milk. Gradual emaciation.
