搅如稠饧，入瓷合内盛。每服取二大豆许，以温水调服。日三、四服。量儿大小以意加减服之。

《圣惠》治小儿心热惊悸。竹沥磨犀角饮子方
竹沥（二合） 犀角
上件药，将犀角于竹沥内磨，令浓。量儿大小分减服之，日三、四服。
《灵苑》抱龙丸 解一切热，化风痰。治大人、小儿风痫、惊痫，阳毒狂躁；及心热惊悸，夜卧不安，胸膈壅
痰，厥头痛，心神恍惚等疾。（翰林院方。）
天南星（一斤，生） 朱砂（细研，水飞） 紫石英（研、飞） 白石英（研、飞） 犀角（锉末。各一两） 牛
黄（研） 阿胶（锉碎，炒如珠子） 藿香 麝香（研。各半两） 金箔（五十片） 雄黄（水磨通明者，四两，研）
上件一十一味捣，罗、细研为末，更入乳钵内研如粉，以黄牛胆四十五个，取汁和丸如樱桃大。每服一丸，
以盐一捻，和药细嚼，新水吞下。如牛胆少，以煎水相和。诸疾服之，心膈清凉如冰雪，便觉精神爽快也。
《灵苑》辰朱虎睛丸 压惊悸，镇心脏，兼治小儿诸惊痫。（此方柏温恭进过，甚有功效）

《圣惠方》论述：小儿惊悸的病证，是由于心脏有壅滞之热，被风邪侵袭所致。邪气搏结于心，就会导致多惊、心神不安。惊悸不止，就会出现心跳悸动不定的症状。
《外台秘要》中的钩藤汤，用于治疗小儿高热、时行疫病、惊悸，以及热疮发作的方剂。
药材组成：钩藤、人参、蚱蝉（炙烤）、子芩（各一分）、蛇蜕皮（炙烤，三寸长）、龙齿（四分，捣碎）、防风、泽泻（各二分）、石膏（一两，捣碎）、竹沥（三合）。
制法与用法：以上十味药切碎，加水二升，并加入竹沥，煎煮取汁七合，细细服用，以病愈为度。
《外台秘要》另一首方剂：
药材组成：茯神、蚱蝉（炙烤，各二分）、人参（三分）、钩藤（一分）、牛黄（约两大豆大小，研细）、杏仁（十二枚，去皮尖，研细）、龙齿（捣碎）、麦门冬（去心，各四分）、蛇蜕皮（三寸，炙烤，研成末）。
制法与用法：以上九味药切碎，加水三升，煎煮取汁六合，滤去药渣，加入牛黄末，分六次服用。根据病情缓急调整服药，直至痊愈。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿心惊悸、烦躁混乱的茯神散方：
药材组成：茯神、川升麻（各三分）、龙齿、甘草（炙至微红，锉碎，各半两）、寒水石、石膏、麦门冬（去心焙干，各一两）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎，过粗筛制成散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎至五分，滤去药渣，加入竹沥半合，再煮沸两次。根据患儿年龄大小，酌情加减剂量。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿惊悸、情志不安的人参散方：
药材组成：人参（去芦头）、甘草（炙至微红，锉碎）、犀角屑（各半两）、麦门冬（去心焙干）、龙骨（各一两）、茯神（三分）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎，过粗筛制成散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎至五分，滤去药渣，加入地黄汁半合，再煮沸一两滚。根据患儿年龄大小，酌情加减剂量，温服。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿风热惊悸的蚱蝉散方：
药材组成：龙齿（细研）、人参（去芦头，各三分）、钩藤、杏仁（热水浸泡，去皮尖及双仁，麸炒至微黄，各二分）、牛黄（二钱，细研）、蛇蜕皮（五寸，烧成灰）、蚱蝉（去翅足，微炒）、茯神、麦门冬（去心焙干，各半两）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎，过细筛制成散剂。将已研细的药物混合均匀。每次用新汲水调服半钱。根据患儿年龄大小加减服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿身体高热、惊悸神志不宁，以安心神的远志煎方：
药材组成：远志（去心）、羚羊角屑、茯神、甘草（炙至微红锉碎）、杏仁（热水浸泡，去皮尖及双仁，麸炒至微黄）、紫菀（洗去苗土）、龙骨、防风（去芦头，各半两）、龙胆（去芦头）、蚱蝉（去翅足）、百合、牛黄（细研）、麝香、川升麻（三分）、川大黄（一两，锉碎，微炒）、酥（三两）、蜜（半斤）。
制法与用法：先将牛黄、麝香两味药研成粉。其余药物除酥、蜜外，粗捣后，加水三升入银锅煎至半升，用新棉过滤去渣，再次倒入锅内，加入牛黄、麝香、酥、蜜等，用柳枝棍不停搅拌，慢火熬制成稠糖状即可，盛于瓷盒中。每次取如豆子大小的量，用温水调服。根据患儿年龄大小加减服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿热盛、惊悸，白天减轻夜间加重，如同被鬼神附体的铁粉煎方：
药材组成：铁粉（一两）、牛黄（细研，一分）、菖蒲（三分）、酥（三两）、犀角屑、人参（去芦头）、茯神、百合、防风（去芦头）、川大黄（锉碎）、青黛（细研）、细辛、远志（去心）、川芎、麻黄（去根节）、薯蓣、甘草（炙至微红，锉碎，以上各半两）、蜜（半斤）。
制法与用法：先将诸药粗捣，加水三升入银锅煎至半升，用新棉过滤去渣，再次倒入银锅中搅拌如稠糖状，收存于瓷盒中。每次用温水调服如大豆大小的量，每日三至四次。根据患儿年龄大小加减服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿心热、多惊悸的金泥煎方：
药材组成：金箔（七十五片）、水银（一两半）、远志（一两，去心）、青黛、麝香、牛黄（各一分）、蚱蝉（三枚，去翅足）、虎睛（一对，微炙）、酥（四两）、蜜（半斤）、菖蒲、钩藤、龙胆（去芦头）、龙齿、人参（去芦头）、赤茯苓、甘草（炙至微红，锉碎，各三分）。
制法与用法：将水银、金箔同研如泥状；另外分别研麝香、虎睛、牛黄、青黛四味成粉。其余药物捣碎、筛成散剂，放入银锅中。先加水二升，慢火煎取半升，用新棉过滤去渣，再次入锅，加入酥、蜜及金泥和研好的药粉，慢火煎煮，用柳枝棍不停搅拌如稠糖状，盛于瓷盒中。每次取如大豆大小的量，用温水调服。每日三至四次。根据患儿年龄大小酌情加减服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿惊悸、高热、面色萎黄消瘦、不思乳食的天竺黄丸方：
药材组成：天竺黄（细研）、黄连（去须）、柴胡（去苗）、羚羊角（屑）、蔓荆子、犀角屑、防风（去芦头）、子芩、川升麻、麦门冬（去心，焙干）、甘草（炙至微红，锉碎）、玄参、白蒺藜（微炒，去刺）、朱砂（研）、木香（以上各一分）、脑麝（研）、牛黄（研，各一钱）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎，过筛成末，与研好的药物混合均匀，用炼蜜和丸，如绿豆大小。每次用温水化开五丸服用。根据患儿年龄大小，酌情加减。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿惊悸高热、面色萎黄消瘦、毛发竖立的牛黄丸方：
药材组成：犀角屑、天竺黄（细研）、白附子（炮裂）、茯神、黄连（去须）、羚羊角屑、防风（去芦头）、玄参、枳壳（麸炒微黄，去瓤）、甘菊花、人参（去芦头）、黄芪（锉碎）、甘草（炙至微红，锉碎）、黄芩（以上各一分）、牛黄（细研，一钱）、朱砂（细研，水飞，半两）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎，过筛成末，加入研好的药物，混合均匀，用炼蜜和丸，如绿豆大小。每次用淡竹叶汤送服五丸，每日三至四次。根据患儿年龄大小酌情加减服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿高热惊悸、无法入睡的天竺黄丸方：
药材组成：天竺黄（细研）、黄连（去须）、川大黄（锉碎，微炒）、牡蛎粉、黄芩、栀子仁、远志（去心，以上各半两）。
制法与用法：将上述药物捣碎，过筛成末，用炼蜜和丸，如绿豆大小。每次用新汲水送服五丸。根据患儿年龄大小加减服用。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿心热惊悸的竹沥磨犀角饮子方：
药材组成：竹沥（二合）、犀角。
制法与用法：将犀角在竹沥中研磨，使汁液浓稠。根据患儿年龄大小分次减量服用，每日三至四次。
《灵苑方》抱龙丸，能解一切热邪，化解风痰。治疗大人、小儿的风痫、惊痫，阳毒狂躁；以及心热惊悸、夜卧不安、胸膈壅痰、厥头痛、心神恍惚等疾病。（出自翰林院方。）
药材组成：天南星（一斤，生用）、朱砂（细研，水飞）、紫石英（研、飞）、白石英（研、飞）、犀角（锉末，各一两）、牛黄（研）、阿胶（锉碎，炒如珠子状）、藿香、麝香（研，各半两）、金箔（五十片）、雄黄（水磨透明者，四两，研）。
制法与用法：以上十一味药捣碎，过筛，细研成末，再放入乳钵中研如粉状。取四十五个黄牛胆汁，取汁和丸，如樱桃大小。每次服用一丸，用一捻盐，与药一起细嚼，新水吞下。如果牛胆汁少，可用煎水调和。各种疾病服用此药，心胸膈膜清凉如冰雪，顿觉精神爽快。
《灵苑方》辰朱虎睛丸，能压制惊悸，镇守心脏，兼治小儿各种惊痫。（此方由柏温恭进献，功效显著。）
药材组成：辰锦朱砂、白茯苓、黄芩、山栀子仁、人参（各一两）、虎睛（一对，用人尿浸制）、牛黄、脑麝、犀角屑（各一分）、钩藤、大黄（用湿纸包裹，煨熟，各四两）。
制法与用法：以上十二味药一并捣碎，过筛成细末，用炼蜜为丸，如鸡头肉子大小。每次服用一至二丸，用金银汤送下。用人参汤送下也可以。
According to the *Shenghui Fang*: The condition of pediatric fright palpitations (Jing Ji) arises from heat accumulation in the Heart, which is invaded by wind pathogen. When the pathogen clashes with the Heart, it causes frequent fright and restlessness. If the fright persists, it leads to palpitations and instability of the heart spirit.
*Waitai Miyao* Gouteng Decoction (Uncaria Decoction) treats pediatric high fever, seasonal epidemics, fright palpitations, and the eruption of heat sores.
Ingredients: Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Gouteng), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Cicada Molt (Zachan, roasted), Scutellariae Radix (Ziqin, each 1 fen), Snake Slough (Shetuipi, roasted, 3 cun), Dragon's Teeth (Longchi, 4 fen, crushed), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Alisma Rhizoma (Zexie, each 2 fen), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao, 1 liang, crushed), Bamboo Juice (Zhuli, 3 he).
Preparation and Administration: The above ten ingredients are cut, decocted with two sheng of water and bamboo juice to obtain seven he of liquid. Administer slowly until recovery.
Another prescription from *Waitai Miyao*:
Ingredients: Poria Cum Radix (Fushen), Cicada Molt (Zachan, roasted, each 2 fen), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 3 fen), Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Gouteng, 1 fen), Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, approx. size of two large soybeans, powdered), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, 12 pieces, peeled and crushed), Dragon's Teeth (Longchi, crushed), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maimendong, deheartened, each 4 fen), Snake Slough (Shetuipi, 3 cun, roasted and powdered).
Preparation and Administration: The above nine ingredients are cut, decocted with three sheng of water to obtain six he of liquid. Strain the dregs, add the powdered Calculus Bovis, and divide into six doses. Adjust dosage according to the condition until cured.
*Shenghui Fang* Fushen Powder for treating pediatric heart fright palpitations and agitation.
Ingredients: Poria Cum Radix (Fushen), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Chuan Shengma, each 3 fen), Dragon's Teeth (Longchi), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, roasted until slightly red and cut, each half liang), Halloysit Rubra (Hanshuishi), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maimendong, deheartened and baked, each 1 liang).
Preparation and Administration: Crush the herbs, sieve coarsely to make a powder. Take one qian per dose, decoct with one small cup of water until reduced to five fen, strain, add half he of bamboo juice, and boil twice more. Adjust dosage based on the child's age.
*Shenghui Fang* Renshen Powder for treating pediatric fright palpitations and mental unrest.
Ingredients: Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, rhizome removed), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, roasted until slightly red and cut), Cornu Rinocerotis (Xijiao, each half liang), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maimendong, deheartened and baked), Os Draconis (Longgu, each 1 liang), Poria Cum Radix (Fushen, 3 fen).
Preparation and Administration: Crush the herbs, sieve coarsely to make a powder. Take one qian per dose, decoct with one small cup of water until reduced to five fen, strain, add half he of Rehmanniae Juice (Dihuang Zhi), and boil briefly. Adjust dosage based on the child's age and take warm.
*Shenghui Fang* Zachan Powder for treating pediatric wind-heat fright palpitations.
Ingredients: Dragon's Teeth (Longchi, finely ground), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, rhizome removed, each 3 fen), Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Gouteng), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, soaked in hot water, peeled and crushed, each 2 fen), Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, 2 qian, finely ground), Snake Slough (Shetuipi, 5 cun, burnt to ash), Cicada Molt (Zachan, wings and feet removed, lightly fried), Poria Cum Radix (Fushen), Ophiopogonis Radix (Maimendong, deheartened and baked, each half liang).
Preparation and Administration: Crush the herbs, sieve finely to make a powder. Mix thoroughly with the pre-ground ingredients. Take half a qian per dose mixed with fresh well water. Adjust dosage based on the child's age.
*Shenghui Fang* Yuanzhi Decoction for treating pediatric high fever, fright palpitations, and restless spirit, to calm the heart spirit.
Ingredients: Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, deheartened), Cornu Saigae Tataricae (Lingyangjiao), Poria Cum Radix (Fushen), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, roasted until slightly red and cut), Armeniacae Semen Amarum (Xingren, soaked, peeled, and fried with bran), Asteris Radix (Ziwan, washed), Os Draconis (Longgu), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, rhizome removed, each half liang), Gentianae Radix (Longdan, rhizome removed), Cicada Molt (Zachan, wings and feet removed), Liliis Bulbus (Baihe), Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, finely ground), Moschus (Shexiang), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Chuan Shengma, 3 fen), Rheii Radix et Rhizoma (Chuan Dahuang, 1 liang, cut and lightly fried), Butter (Su, 3 liang), Honey (Mi, half jin).
Preparation and Administration: First grind Calculus Bovis and Moschus into powder. Coarsely crush the remaining herbs (excluding butter and honey). Decoct with three sheng of water in a silver pot until reduced to half a sheng. Filter through new cotton, return to the pot, add Calculus Bovis, Moschus, butter, and honey. Stir constantly with a willow stick over low heat until it resembles thick syrup. Store in a porcelain jar. Take an amount the size of two soybeans per dose, mixed with warm water. Adjust dosage based on the child's age.
*Shenghui Fang* Tiefen Decoction for pediatric excess heat, fright palpitations that improve during the day but worsen at night, resembling possession by spirits.
Ingredients: Ferri Pulvis (Tiefen, 1 liang), Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, finely ground, 1 fen), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu, 3 fen), Butter (Su, 3 liang), Cornu Rinocerotis (Xijiao), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, rhizome removed), Poria Cum Radix (Fushen), Liliis Bulbus (Baihe), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng, rhizome removed), Rheii Radix et Rhizoma (Chuan Dahuang, crushed), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai, finely ground), Asari Radix et Rhizoma (Xixin), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, deheartened), Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Xiong), Ephedrae Herba (Mahuang, roots and nodes removed), Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shuyu), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, roasted until slightly red and cut, each half liang), Honey (Mi, half jin).
Preparation and Administration: Coarsely crush all herbs. Decoct with three sheng of water in a silver pot until reduced to half a sheng. Ingredients: Folium Aurum (Jinbo, 75 pieces), Hydrargyrum (Shuiyin, 1.5 liang), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi, 1 liang, deheartened), Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), Moschus (Shexiang), Calculus Bovis (Niuhuang, each 1 fen), Cicada Molt (Zachan, 3 pieces, wings and feet removed), Felis Tigris Oculi (Huqing, one pair, lightly roasted), Butter (Su, 4 liang), Honey (Mi, half jin), Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Changpu), Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis (Gouteng), Gentianae Radix (Longdan, rhizome removed), Dragon's Teeth (Longchi), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, rhizome removed), Poria (Chifuling), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao, roasted until slightly red and cut, each 3 fen).
Preparation and Administration: Grind Hydrargyrum and Folium Aurum together until mud-like. Separately grind Moschus, Felis Tigris Oculi, Calculus Bovis, and Indigo Naturalis into powder. Crush and sieve the remaining herbs into a powder and place in a silver pot. Decoct with two sheng of water over low heat until reduced to half a sheng. Filter through new cotton, return to the pot, add butter, honey, the "gold mud," and other powders. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly with a willow stick until thick like syrup. Store in a porcelain jar. Take an amount the size of two soybeans per dose mixed with warm water, three to four times daily. Adjust dosage based on the child's age.
