According to *Chishu Bingyuan* (Catalogue of the Causes and Manifestations of Various Diseases) regarding the condition of warts in children: Warts are growths attached to the skin and flesh, indistinguishable in color from the surrounding skin, resembling the size of wheat grains or beans. They are called "Youzi" (Wart seeds), which is synonymous with "Yumu" (Warts). Sometimes three or more grow clustered together. If cut open, the interior resembles tough sinew, with slight bleeding, yet they tend to regrow. This condition mostly arises from wind-pathogens lodging in the skin, causing alterations in blood and qi dynamics. Therefore, some cases can be cured by herbal medicine, while others by magical arts; they commonly appear on the hands and feet.
*Longmu Lun* (Treatise of Dragon Wood) treats exogenous obstructions caused by proliferative growths in the eyelids of children. When this eye condition first manifests, it is due to toxic heat stagnating in the Spleen and Stomach rushing upward into the eyelids, causing fleshy growths. Initially small like hemp seeds, over three to five years they gradually enlarge, rubbing against the pupil, causing redness, dryness, and tearing. It is essential to use hooking and cutting methods to remove stagnant blood, followed by moxibustion or cautery for optimal results. Administer *Souwei San* (Stomach-Searching Powder) and *Bugan Wan* (Liver-Nourishing Pills), and apply *Zengqing Gao* (Azurite Ointment) to achieve recovery. (Formulas are found in this section.)
