上为末。每服二钱，水一盏，煎至七分，去滓。温服，日二服，小儿斟量与。
钱乙紫草散 发斑疹。
钩藤钩子 紫草茸（各等分）
上为细末。每服一字或半钱、一钱，温酒调下。无时。
张涣云∶小儿疮疹，气匀即出快，盖血与气相随。若内有邪热，即血妄行，使气不匀。大体疮疹气快自匀，宜
快毒丹。应疮疹出，皆宜服之方
牵牛子 木香（各一分） 肉豆蔻（半两，去皮） 青橘皮（一两，半两炒，半两生）
上件捣，罗为细末，滴水和丸如黍米大。每服七粒至十粒，浓煎紫草、葱白汤下，乳前。量儿大小加减。
张涣红粉丹 治腑热疮疹不匀。
龙脑（细研，一钱） 南星（腊日酿牛胆中，百日内阴干者，取末一两） 朱砂（细研，水飞） 坯
子染胭脂 天竺黄（末。各一两）
上五味再研匀，炼蜜和丸如鸡头大。每服一粒，人参汤化下。
《疹痘论》滑石散方
滑石 甘草（炙。各半两）
上件为末。每服一钱半，鸡子清、酒少许调下。
《疹痘论》脱齿散方
上以人牙齿脱落者、不拘多少，于瓷瓶内固济，大火 令通赤，候冷取出为末。用薄荷酒调下半钱，良久
脉平和。毒瓦斯散，疮如粟米。
《疹痘论》小儿瘟毒、痘疮不出方。
生地黄（四两） 淡豆豉（四两）
上以猪脂一斤和匀，露一宿，煎至六分，候冷，三分减去一分，去滓；下雄黄末一钱，麝香半钱，搅匀，
量大小饮。若太多，反有所损。
《活人书》活血散 治疹子或出不快。
上用白芍药末一钱，酒调，如欲止痛，只用温热水调下。
《九 卫生》紫金散 疗小儿疮疹不快，倒 。
紫草 蛇蜕皮（炒焦） 牛李子（炒。各半两）
上同为粗末。每服一钱，水七分，煎至四五分，去滓温服。
《九 卫生》如圣散 疗小儿斑疮不快，欲倒 黑凹者。
上用赤芍药，不以多少，杵为细末。每服半钱，煎葡萄酒，冷调下。
张锐《鸡峰方》∶治小儿斑疮出不快。
上用开花萝卜煎汁，时时与饮之。
张锐《鸡峰方》∶治疮疹熏发不快，咽喉不利。（方见疮疹攻咽痛门中，钱乙附方消毒散同。）
董汲紫草散 治小儿伏热，热在胃经，暴发痘 、疮疹一切恶候，出不快，小便赤涩，心腹胀
满。（方见疮疹倒 门，钱乙四圣散同。）
《玉诀》酒调散 治发疮疹不出。
牛蒡子（五钱，炒） 紫草 麻黄（去节。各五钱） 臭椿子（去皮为末，一钱） 当门子（五粒，末一字）
上以温酒调下一字、半钱。
《三十六种》内疮子候有紫草汤
麻黄（去节） 人参（各一分） 杏仁（七粒，去皮）
上为粗末。都用水二盏，煎至一盏，去滓，却分为三四服，温下。分作二日服，未可用诸药。
《刘氏家传》小儿发斑疮。
大蝉蜕（二十一个，去足，洗） 甘草（一钱半）
上用水半碗，煎至一盏，旋于服尽，效。已用验。
《庄氏家传》治小儿痘疮出不快，并伤寒不语。
干野人粪（炭火 为灰） 脑麝（各少许）
上为末。每服一二钱，新蜜水调下。
《王氏手集》透肌散，治脏腑蕴热，毒瓦斯熏发肌肉，身生疹痘，喉舌生疮，毒瓦斯未快，懊闷气喘，烦渴多睡，
精神昏塞。（方见已发未发门中。《活人书》化毒汤同。）
《王氏手集》治小儿斑疮不发方。
上以乳香研细，用猪心血为丸，樱桃大，水磨下一丸。
《吴氏家传》小儿疮疹不透。
上旋取猪心血调麝香少许，两手心中涂之，并涂些小口唇上，即出。极妙。
《赵氏家传》至圣木星饮子 治小儿疮子不出及不快方。
朱砂（一分） 郁金（半两）
上为细末。每用一字或二字，量儿大小入龙脑少许，以新汲水、茶脚少许，同调匀。然后刺 猪尾，血滴
三点子入药汁中，令服。不过一二时辰，疮子出便红活，儿无他病，神妙。
长沙医者郑愈传治麻痘不快，紫草膏方
紫草 白附子（各一钱） 麻黄（去节） 甘草（炙。各二钱） 全蝎（十个） 僵蚕（炒，二个）
上件为末。用蜜一两，酒半盏，入紫草煎数沸后，令旋施；同和前药，丸如皂角子大。每服一粒，用紫草
汤化下，续用黄 散调治。（方见疮疹后解余毒门中。）
《养生必用》记载治疗小儿痘疹发出迟缓、或出现倒靥（痘疹内陷）的方剂。
紫草茸、木通（锉碎）、甘草（炙烤）、枳壳（麸皮炒后去瓤，以上各等分）。
将上述药物研为细末。每次服用二钱，加水一盏，煎煮至七分，滤去药渣。温服，每日两次，小儿用量酌情增减。
钱乙的紫草散，用于治疗斑疹发出。

将上述药物研为极细末。每次服用一字或半钱、一钱，用温酒调服。不拘具体时间。
张涣说：小儿痘疹，气息均匀则发出迅速，这是因为血与气相互伴随。如果体内有邪热，就会导致血液妄行，使气息不匀。大体上痘疹发出时气息快而自匀，适宜使用快毒丹。凡是痘疹发出的情况，都适宜服用此方。
牵牛子、木香（各一分）、肉豆蔻（半两，去皮）、青橘皮（一两，一半炒，一半生用）。
将上述药物捣碎，过筛成细末，滴入水调和，制成如黍米大小的丸剂。每次服用七粒至十粒，用浓煎的紫草和葱白汤送服，在吃奶前服用。根据患儿大小加减剂量。
张涣的红粉丹，治疗腑热导致的痘疹发出不均匀。
龙脑（细研，一钱）、南星（腊月酿于牛胆中，百日内阴干者，取末一两）、朱砂（细研，水飞法处理）、坯子染胭脂、天竺黄（末，各一两）。
将上述五味药再次研磨均匀，用炼蜜调和，制成如鸡头大小的丸剂。每次服用一粒，用人参汤化开送服。
《疹痘论》中的滑石散方。
滑石、甘草（炙，各半两）。
将上述药物研为细末。每次服用一钱半，用鸡蛋清和少许酒调服。
《疹痘论》中的脱齿散方。
取人脱落的牙齿，数量不限，放入瓷瓶中密封固定，用大火烧至通红，待冷却后取出研为细末。用薄荷酒调服半钱，良久之后脉搏平和。毒瓦斯消散，疮疹如粟米状。
《疹痘论》中小儿瘟毒、痘疮不出的方剂。
生地黄（四两）、淡豆豉（四两）。
用猪脂一斤与上述药物拌匀，露天放置一夜，煎煮至六分，待冷却后，去掉三分之一的量，滤去药渣；加入雄黄末一钱、麝香半钱，搅拌均匀，根据患儿大小给予饮用。如果服用过多，反而会有损害。
《活人书》中的活血散，治疗疹子或发出迟缓。
取白芍药末一钱，用酒调服；如果想要止痛，只用温热水调服即可。
《九 卫生》中的紫金散，治疗小儿疮疹发出迟缓、倒靥。
紫草、蛇蜕皮（炒焦）、牛李子（炒，各半两）。
将上述药物共同捣成粗末。每次服用一钱，加水七分，煎煮至四五分，滤去药渣温服。
《九 卫生》中的如圣散，治疗小儿斑疮发出迟缓，欲倒靥变黑凹陷的情况。
取赤芍药，数量不限，捣成细末。每次服用半钱，用葡萄酒煎煮，冷却后调服。
张锐《鸡峰方》：治疗小儿斑疮发出迟缓。
取开花萝卜煎汁，时时给患儿饮用。
张锐《鸡峰方》：治疗疮疹熏发迟缓，咽喉不利。（方剂见疮疹攻咽痛门中，与钱乙附方消毒散相同。）

《刘氏家传》治疗小儿发斑疮。
大蝉蜕（二十一个，去足，洗净）、甘草（一钱半）。
用水半碗，煎煮至一盏，随即服尽，有效。已经验证过。
《庄氏家传》治疗小儿痘疮发出迟缓，以及伤寒不语。
干野人粪（炭火煅烧为灰）、脑麝（各少许）。
将上述药物研为细末。每次服用一二钱，用新蜜水调服。

《赵氏家传》至圣木星饮子，治疗小儿痘疹不出及发出迟缓的方剂。
朱砂（一分）、郁金（半两）。
将上述药物研为细末。每次取一字或二字，根据患儿大小加入少许龙脑，用新汲取的水、少许茶脚，一同调匀。然后刺破猪尾，让三滴血滴入药汁中，令患儿服用。不超过一二个时辰，痘疹发出便红活，患儿无其他疾病，神妙。
长沙医者郑愈传授治疗麻疹痘疮发出迟缓的紫草膏方。
紫草、白附子（各一钱）、麻黄（去节）、甘草（炙，各二钱）、全蝎（十个）、僵蚕（炒，二个）。
将上述药物研为细末。用蜜一两、酒半盏，加入紫草煎煮数沸后，随即施药；与前药混合，制成如皂角子大小的丸剂。每次服用一粒，用紫草汤化开送服，随后用黄 散调治。（方剂见疮疹后解余毒门中。）
The *Yangsheng Biyong* records a formula for treating slow eruption or involution (inward collapse) of infantile smallpox/rubella.
Zicao Rong (Arnebiae Radix et Rhizoma), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis, sliced), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried), Zhike (Aurantii Fructus, bran-fried and pith removed; all in equal parts).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Take two qian per dose, add one zhan of water, decoct until seven-tenths remain, strain, and take warm. Administer twice daily, adjusting dosage for children according to their condition.
Qian Yi's Zicao San is used to promote the eruption of macules and papules.
Goutenggouzi (Uncariae Ramulus cum Uncis), Zicao Rong (Arnebiae Radix et Rhizoma; equal parts).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Take one zi, half qian, or one qian per dose, mixed with warm wine. No specific timing required.
Zhang Huan stated: In infantile smallpox/rubella, if the qi is even, the eruption is rapid, because blood and qi follow each other. If there is pathogenic heat internally, it causes blood to move recklessly, disrupting the evenness of qi. Generally, when the eruption is rapid, the qi becomes even naturally; thus, Kaidu Dan is suitable. For any case of smallpox/rubella eruption, this formula should be taken.
Qianniuzi (Pharbitidis Semen), Muxiang (Aucklandiae Radix; one fen each), Roudoukou (Myristicae Semen, half liang, peeled), Qingju pi (Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride, one liang, half fried, half raw).
Pound the above ingredients, sieve into fine powder, mix with water to form pills the size of millet seeds. Take seven to ten pills per dose, administered before nursing with a strong decoction of Zicao and Congbai (Allii Fistulosi Bulbus). Adjust dosage according to the child's age and size.
Zhang Huan's Hongfen Dan treats uneven eruption of smallpox/rubella due to fu-organ heat.
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum, finely ground, one qian), Nanxing (Arisaematis Rhizoma, fermented in ox gallbladder on the tenth day of the twelfth lunar month, dried in shade within one hundred days, powdered, one liang), Zhusha (Cinnabaris, finely ground, washed with water), Pizi Yan Zhi (Brick-dyed rouge), Tianzhu Huang (Calamiforme Borax, powdered; one liang each).
Grind these five ingredients together until uniform, mix with refined honey to form pills the size of a corn kernel. Take one pill per dose, dissolved and administered with Renshen Tang (Ginseng Decoction).
The Huashi San formula from *Zhen Dou Lun*.
Huashi (Talcum), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried; half liang each).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Take one and a half qian per dose, mixed with egg white and a little wine.
The Tuochi San formula from *Zhen Dou Lun*.
Take human teeth that have fallen out, quantity unspecified, seal them tightly in a porcelain bottle, fire them intensely until red-hot, let cool, remove, and grind into powder. Mix half a qian with Bohe Jiu (Mint Wine) and administer. After a while, the pulse will become peaceful. The toxic vapors will dissipate, and the sores will resemble millet grains.
Formula for infantile epidemic toxicity and smallpox/rubella not erupting from *Zhen Dou Lun*.
Sheng Dihuang (Rehmanniae Radix, four liang), Danshichu (Sojae Semens Praeparatum, four liang).
Mix with one jin of lard, expose overnight, decoct until six-tenths remain, let cool, discard one-third of the liquid, strain; add Xionghuang (Realgar, one qian) and Shexiang (Moschus, half qian), stir well, and administer according to the child's size. Too much may cause harm.
Huoxue San from *Huo Ren Shu* treats rubella or slow eruption.
Take Baishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Alba, one qian), mix with wine. To relieve pain, simply mix with warm water.
Zijin San from *Jiu Wei Wei Sheng* treats slow eruption or involution of infantile sores.
Zicao (Arnebiae Radix et Rhizoma), She Tui Pi (Bombyx Batryticatus, fried until charred), Niu Li Zi (Lycii Fructus, fried; half liang each).
Pound together into coarse powder. Take one qian per dose, add seven-tenths zhan of water, decoct until four or five-tenths remain, strain, and take warm.
Rusheng San from *Jiu Wei Wei Sheng* treats slow eruption of infantile macules/papules, especially those tending toward involution, turning black, and sinking.
Take Chishao Yao (Paeoniae Radix Rubra), quantity unspecified, pound into fine powder. Take half a qian per dose, decoct in red wine, let cool, and mix to administer.
Zhang Rui's *Jifeng Fang*: Treats slow eruption of infantile macules/papules.
Decoct juice from flowering radish and give it to the child frequently.
Zhang Rui's *Jifeng Fang*: Treats slow eruption of sores/rubella and throat discomfort. (See the section on sores attacking the throat with pain; same as Qian Yi's supplementary formula Xiaodu San.)
Dong Ji's Zicao San treats infantile latent heat, heat in the Stomach meridian, sudden outbreak of smallpox/rubella and all malignant conditions, slow eruption, red and difficult urination, and abdominal distension/fullness. (See the section on involution of sores; same as Qian Yi's Sisheng San.)
Jiu Tiao San from *Yu Jue* treats failure of sores/rubella to erupt.
Niubangzi (Arctii Fructus, five qian, fried), Zicao (Arnebiae Radix et Rhizoma), Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, nodes removed; five qian each), Chouchunzi (Toosendan Fructus, peeled and powdered, one qian), Dangmenzi (Moschus, five grains, powdered to one zi).
Mix with warm wine and administer one zi or half a qian.
Zicao Tang mentioned in the internal sore prognosis of *San Shi Liu Zhong*.
Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba, nodes removed), Renshen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma; one fen each), Xingren (Pruni Semen, seven grains, peeled).
Pound into coarse powder. Add two zhan of water total, decoct until one zhan remains, strain, and divide into three or four doses, take warm. Divide over two days; do not use other medicines before this.
*Liu Shi Jia Chuan* treats infantile macular rash.
Da Chan Tui (Periostracum Cicadae, twenty-one pieces, feet removed, washed), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, one and a half qian).
Add half a wan of water, decoct until one zhan remains, drink immediately upon completion. Effective. Verified.
*Zhuang Shi Jia Chuan* treats slow eruption of infantile smallpox/rubella and mutism due to cold damage.
Gan Yeren Fen (Human Feces, calcined in charcoal fire to ash), Naoshe (Borneolum and Moschus; a small amount each).
Grind into powder. Take one or two qian per dose, mixed with fresh honey water.
Touji San from *Wang Shi Shou Ji* treats heat accumulation in the fu and zang organs, toxic vapors steaming the muscles, generation of rashes/smallpox on the body, sores in the throat and tongue, incomplete resolution of toxic vapors, restlessness, panting, irritability, thirst, excessive sleepiness, and mental cloudiness. (See the section on erupted and unerupted stages; same as Huadu Tang from *Huo Ren Shu*.)
Formula from *Wang Shi Shou Ji* for non-erupting infantile macules/papules.
Grind Rushen (Frankincense) finely, mix with Zhu Xin Xue (Porcine Heart Blood) to form pills the size of a cherry. Grind one pill in water and administer.
*Wu Shi Jia Chuan* treats incomplete penetration of infantile sores/rubella.
Freshly take Zhu Xin Xue (Porcine Heart Blood), mix with a little Shexiang (Moschus), apply to both palms and slightly to the lips. The sores will emerge. Extremely effective.
Zhisheng Mu Xing Yinzi from *Zhao Shi Jia Chuan* treats non-erupting or slowly erupting infantile smallpox/rubella.
Zhusha (Cinnabaris, one fen), Yujin (Curcumae Radix, half liang).
Grind into fine powder. Take one or two zi per dose, add a little Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) according to the child's size, mix evenly with freshly drawn water and a little tea dregs. Then prick the pig's tail, let three drops of blood fall into the medicine mixture, and administer. Within one or two shichen (hours), the sores will emerge red and vibrant, and the child will have no other ailments. Divine efficacy.
Changsha physician Zheng Yu's transmission of Zicao Gao for treating slow eruption of measles/smallpox.
Zicao (Arnebiae Radix et Rhizoma), Baifu Zi (Fulieng Rhizoma; one qian each), Mahuang (Ephedrae Heraba, nodes removed), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried; two qian each), Quanxie (Scorpio, ten pieces), Jiangcan (Bombyx Batryticatus, fried, two pieces).
Grind the above ingredients into powder. Use one liang of honey and half a zhan of wine, add Zicao and boil briefly, then apply immediately; mix with the previous powder to form pills the size of soap beans. Take one pill per dose, dissolve with Zicao Tang (Arnebiae Decoction), and subsequently treat with Huang San (Yellow Powder). (See the section on resolving residual toxins after sores.)
