《巢氏病源》小儿瘰 候∶小儿身生热疮，必生瘰 ，其状作结核在皮肉间，三两个相连累也。是风邪搏于
血气， 结所生也。
《婴童宝鉴》∶小儿瘰 ，是肝之积热攻冲胸项，筋血结聚留停不去，作肿块于头项及腋下也。
《外台》∶《必效》疗小儿项上瘰 方。
上以榆白皮烂捣如泥封之，频易。
《经验方》大治大人、小儿瘰 内消方
上以斑蝥一两去翅足，用粟米一升同斑蝥炒令焦黄，去米不用细研，入干薄荷末四两同研令匀，以乌鸡子
清和丸如绿豆大。空心腊茶下一丸，加至五丸，每日减一丸，减至一丸后，每日服五丸。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 ， 肿疼痛，身体壮热，大肠壅滞，小便赤涩，心神烦躁，少得眠卧。犀角散方
犀角（屑） 牛蒡子（微炒） 连翘 丁香（各半两） 木通（锉） 元参（各三分） 麝香（一分，细研） 沉

上件药捣，粗罗为散。每服一钱，以水一小盏，煎至五分去滓，量儿大小分减温服。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 发盛壮热，烦躁，坐卧不安。木通散方
木通（锉） 大麻仁 元参 川升麻 败酱 连翘 川大黄（锉碎，微炒） 川芒硝 犀角（屑。各半两）
上件药捣，粗罗为散。每服一钱，以水一小盏，煎至五、六分去滓，量儿大小，分减温服。当利下恶物、
筋膜为效。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 除根本腻粉散方
腻粉 黄 （锉。各一分） 糯米（三七粒） 斑蝥（二七枚去翅足，以糯米拌，炒黄）
上件药捣，细罗为散。每服空腹以温酒调下一字，良久，吃少许醋汤，病随小便中出，量儿大小加减服之。

上件药捣，罗为末，都研令匀，用白羊肉四两去筋膜细切，以炼成蜜相和，捣三五百杵，丸如绿豆大。每
服以薄荷汤下十丸。量儿大小加减服之。
《圣惠》治小儿肿结，久不消散，结成瘰 ，宜服麝香丸方

上件药捣，罗为末，炼蜜和丸如麻子大。每服于空心以生姜汤下二丸，当利下恶物为度，后吃粥一日补之。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 内消蜗牛丸方
蜗牛子（一百二十枚，活者去壳） 薄荷（末，二两） 丁香（末，半两）
上件药入乳钵内，同研为丸如绿豆大。每日空心以薄荷汤下五丸，晚再服。量儿大小加减服之。
《圣惠》治小儿脑热结瘰 ，连两耳肿痛，身体寒热，坐卧不安，宜用元参膏方。

上件药捣，罗为末，以鸡子白和，稀稠得所，涂于肿上。若疮肿破时，即去却芒硝涂之。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 已结成，外贴令自出方。
水银（手心内用津研如泥） 粉霜 砒霜 斑蝥（用糯米同炒令黄，去翅足） 燕子粪（各一分）
上件药细研令匀，用腊月猪脂和，稀稠得所，取一小豆大，安在 子上，以消肿膏药封之，六、七日当有

上件药捣，细罗为散。都研令匀，每贴时先用温盐浆水洗疮令净，拭干，看疮口大小贴，日二度用之。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 五香膏方
沉香 笺香 木香 丁香（各半两） 熊胆 芦荟（各一分） 黄丹 黄蜡（各二两） 麝香（半分，细研） 乱
发（一两） 油（半斤）
上件药细锉，先以慢火煎油令沸，下乱发煎令消，即下诸药煎三上三下，以绵滤去滓，下黄蜡，次下黄
丹、麝香搅令匀，膏成以瓷合盛。每使先以米泔洗，拭干，以膏摊于故帛上贴之。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 穴后，宜用生肌膏方
黄丹 黄蜡（各半两） 杏仁（汤浸去皮） 乱发（各一两） 蛇蜕皮（一条） 菜子油（六两） 皂荚（三寸，
水浸去黑皮子）
上件药先取杏仁、蛇皮、皂荚捣碎，又以菜油于铫子中煎乱发令消，次下杏仁等三味同煎三上三下，以绵
滤去滓，下黄蜡，次下黄丹，以柳篦子不住手搅令匀，候膏成以瓷器收，与故帛上涂贴之。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 不穴，宜贴斑蝥膏方
斑蝥（二枚，去翅足） 松脂（三两） 雄雀粪（一两，为末） 巴豆（十枚，去皮心，以浆水煮过，与斑蝥研令
细）
上件药先取松脂入内熔化，入斑蝥、巴豆熬成膏，捏作饼子，热贴在瘰 上，候穴用生肌膏贴之，日再换，瘥为度。

《圣惠》治小儿瘰 穿溃，脓水不止。密陀僧散方
密陀僧 胡粉（各二两） 熊胆 芦荟 白芨 白蔹（各一两）
上件药捣，细罗为散。敷疮口内效。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 肿硬皂荚刺散方
上用皂荚刺一斤于盆中烧，候火盛时，取牛蒡子半升撒于火中，与皂角刺都成灰为度，待冷取之，捣，细
罗为散。每服以井华水调下一钱，日三服，三五日内必有恶物下，如胶饧状，下尽即永断根本。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 结硬令内消方。
腻粉（半两） 鸡子（三枚，取白用）
上件药调如稀面糊，以文火炒之，用火箸急搅，勿令粘着铫子，候焦黑色即住，入上好朱砂半两同研如面。
每服以粥饮调下半钱，五更与服，良久，腹痛，便泻出病根，枣核之状。如未瘥，即隔日再服之。若已成疮
者，宜用后散贴之。
《圣惠》又方
毒蛇皮（三条） 吴茱萸（半合）
上件药烧为灰细研，以生油和涂之，须用帛子遮药气，不得冲眼，切须忌之。
《圣惠》治小儿瘰 结核肿硬，欲令穴。 砂丸方

上件药同研令细，以糯米饮和丸如小麦粒大。先烙破，内一丸，五日内其 子当坏烂自出，后用生肌膏

蜗牛壳（一两） 真牛乳（半升）
上件药入铫子中，于慢火上熬，令乳尽，取蜗牛壳研如粉，入大黄末一分，更研令细。每服以皂荚子仁汤
调下半钱，大小便中利出恶物，即瘥。
《圣惠》又方
上以皂荚子四十九枚，用手指许大竹筒，安得皂荚子者，垒在竹筒中，紧塞竹筒口，投在溷坑中，浸四十
九日，取出净洗曝干，捣，细罗为散。每服以粥饮调下半钱，日三服。量儿大小加减服之。
《圣惠》又方
上用白花蛇五两，以酥涂，炙令黄焦色，捣，细罗为散。每服以粥饮调下半钱，日三服。量儿大小以意
加减。
《圣惠》又方
上用白僵蚕炒，捣，细罗为散。每服以温水调下半钱，日三服。量儿大小以意加减。
《圣惠》治瘰 结成颗块疼肿，穿溃脓水不绝，不计远年日近皆瘥。薄荷丸方
薄荷（一束如碗大，阴干） 皂荚（十挺，长一尺二寸，不 者，去黑皮涂酥炙令焦黄）
上件药捣碎，以酒一斗，浸经三宿，取出曝干，更浸三宿，如此取酒尽为度，焙干捣，细罗为散，以烧饭
丸如梧桐子大。每于食前以黄 汤下二十丸，小儿减丸服之。
茅先生治小儿瘰 、风 、冷 已破者，用药放入方。
锻石（二两，用好醋二升煮干如饧入） 杏仁粉（一两） 腻粉（半两）
上拌合滴水为丸如○此大，放在窟内以纸贴之，其药自熔，其肉自生，一个窟只放一丸药。
张涣妙圣散方 治瘰 不消。
绵黄 连翘（各一两） 川大黄（炒） 鸽粪（烧灰） 糯米（用斑蝥七个同炒黄，不用斑蝥） 犀角（屑。各
半两）
上件捣，罗为细末。每服一钱，水八分一盏，入酒三两滴，同煎五分，去滓，放温令时时呷之。
张涣紫檀散方 敷瘰 瘿核。
紫檀香 木香 川芒硝（研） 卷柏（各一两） 川大黄 黄芍药（各半两）
上件捣，罗为细末。每用少许，用鸡子白调，稀稠得所，涂患处。
《王氏手集》治新旧瘰 方。
不 皂角（去皮，酥炙黄） 威灵仙（去土） 仙灵脾（用叶去枝梗）
上等分为细末，炼蜜为丸如绿豆大。每服二十五丸，温米饮下，空心食前临卧，日三服。忌猪肉、油腻、
热面、茶，疾已，饮食复旧。
《王氏手集》治项 鼠 方。
砂（研） 腻粉（各二钱。各一分亦得）
上用鸡卵子一个，敲破一头，沥鸡清在净盏内，不用黄，将鸡清和前二药入在壳内和令匀，用面糊纸贴破
处，更用面饼子裹鸡子入无油铛内，水煮近千沸，取出阴干，细研如粉。用时令患人先吃酒一盏，候少时用
酒调药半钱，其疾随大便泻下如桃胶，是病下。如未，更服。重者须三两服。忌油腻、鱼 ，动风气物。
《王氏手集》治瘰 方。
上牛李子一名天茄子，入九月经霜采，去苗取根，用竹刀子割去皮撕开，新瓦上 干为末。不犯铁器。
每服二钱，用活鲫鱼一枚，持去鳞HT 内之肚中，用湿纸裹煨熟，细细嚼吃，以米饮送下，如未有疮则内消，
已有疮只用末津唾调贴神效。
《王氏手集》治瘰 未及疮。玉露丸方
斑蝥（二十一个，去头） 海金砂（三钱） 寒食面（一钱）
上上件药一处为细末，滴水为丸如绿豆大。候药干，再以寒食面和做湿面复裹药，再丸药。吃时用浆水二
盏，将一盏入药在内，煎沸煮动，药面漉在余一盏冷浆水，取出药，以浆水下。其瘰 病随小便出了。十岁
以下至三岁以上，每二岁吃一丸；是十岁吃五丸；自十岁以上至二十岁以上，每一岁一丸；自三十岁以上，
每二岁一丸。量虚实加减。
《巢氏病源》小儿瘰疬候：小儿身上生出热疮，必定会引发瘰疬。其形态表现为皮肉之间形成结核，通常两三个相互连接牵连。这是由于风邪与血气搏结，在痰结之处所生成的。

取榆白皮捣烂如泥，敷贴患处，频繁更换。
《经验方》治疗成人、小儿瘰疬内消的大方：
取斑蝡一两，去掉翅膀和足，用一升粟米与斑蝡同炒至焦黄色，去掉米粒不用，将斑蝡细细研磨，加入干薄荷末四两，共同研磨均匀，用乌鸡蛋清调和，制成如绿豆大小的丸药。空腹时以腊茶送服一丸，逐渐加量至五丸，之后每天减少一丸，减至一丸后，改为每日服用五丸。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬，伴有肿胀疼痛、身体高热、大肠壅滞不通、小便赤涩、心神烦躁、睡眠很少的犀角散方：
犀角（镑屑）半两，牛蒡子（微炒）半两，连翘半两，丁香（各半两），木通（锉碎），元参三分，麝香一分（细研），沉香一两，朴硝一两。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎至五分，去渣滓，根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量，温服。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬发作旺盛、高热、烦躁、坐卧不安的木通散方：
木通（锉碎），大麻仁，元参，川升麻，败酱草，连翘，川大黄（锉碎，微炒），川芒硝，犀角（镑屑）。各半两。
以上药物捣碎，粗筛为散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎至五六分，去渣滓，根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量，温服。服药后若排出恶物、筋膜即为有效。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬，旨在去除根本的腻粉散方：
腻粉一分，黄柏（锉碎）一分，糯米三七粒，斑蝡二七枚（去掉翅膀和足，用糯米拌炒至黄色）。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂。每次空腹用温酒调服“一字”量，过一会儿，喝少许醋汤，病邪随小便排出，根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬不消退的麝香散方：
麝香一分，鸽粪一两（炒）。
以上药物细研为散剂。每次用温酒调服半钱，每日两次。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬发作寒热，颈项生结核，肿硬如石头，腹胁背部感觉坚急不通的连翘丸方：
连翘，桑根白皮（锉碎），犀角（镑屑），白头翁，漏芦，黄柏（锉碎），牛蒡子（炒），秦艽（去苗），川升麻。各半两。
以上药物捣碎，筛为末，炼蜜调和制成如绿豆大小的丸药。每次用粥饮送服五丸，每日三次。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬难消退的皂荚丸方：
皂荚八两（不锉碎的，用水浸泡一夜，去掉黑皮，涂酥油，烤至黄焦），薄荷五两，荆芥五两，雄黄半两（细研），麝香一分（细研）。
以上药物捣碎，筛为末，混合研磨均匀，取白羊肉四两，去掉筋膜切细，与炼成的蜂蜜混合，捣三五百下，制成如绿豆大小的丸药。每次用薄荷汤送服十丸。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬肿块久不消散，结成瘰疬，宜服的麝香丸方：
麝香一分（细研），牛黄一分（细研），蜗牛子（炒至微黄），皂荚子（炒微黄），皂荚针（炙黄），薄荷（干者）一两，雄鸽粪一两（微炒）。
以上药物捣碎，筛为末，炼蜜调和制成如绿豆大小的丸药。每次用薄荷汤送服七丸，每日三次。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬不消退，旨在去除根本的连翘丸方：
连翘一两，元参一两，糯米，皂荚针（炙），川大黄（锉碎炒）半两，斑蝡一分（炒去翅足）。
以上药物捣碎，筛为末，炼蜜调和制成如麻子大小的丸药。每次空腹用生姜汤送服二丸，以排出恶物为度，之后吃一天粥来补益。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬内消的蜗牛丸方：
蜗牛子一百二十枚（活体去壳），薄荷末二两，丁香末半两。
以上药物放入乳钵中，共同研磨制成如绿豆大小的丸药。每日空腹用薄荷汤送服五丸，晚上再服一次。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿脑热结聚成瘰疬，连累两耳肿痛，身体寒热，坐卧不安，宜用的元参膏方：
元参一两，紫葛（锉碎）一两，黄药一两，川大黄一两，木香一两，卷柏一两，川芒硝一两，紫檀香一两。
以上药物捣碎，筛为末，用鸡蛋清调和，稀稠适度，涂抹于肿胀处。如果疮肿破溃，则去掉芒硝后再涂抹。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬已结成，外贴令其自然排出的方剂：
水银（在手心用唾液研磨如泥），粉霜一分，砒霜一分，斑蝡一分（用糯米同炒至黄，去翅足），燕子粪一分。
以上药物细研均匀，用腊月猪脂调和，稀稠适度，取一小豆大，贴在瘰疬上，用消肿膏药封住，六七天当有穴口流出脓水，半个月左右，瘰疬核自出，之后用生肌膏贴敷治愈（方子在后面）。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬成疮有脓水的生肌散方：
颗盐一分，白矾一分，黄丹半两（以上三味用瓷瓶盛放，大火烧至通红，细研使用），黄柏（锉碎）一分，白蔹一分，腻粉一分。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂。混合研磨均匀，每次贴敷前先用温盐水清洗疮口使其干净，擦干，根据疮口大小贴敷，每日使用两次。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬的五香膏方：
沉香半两，笺香半两，木香半两，丁香半两，熊胆一分，芦荟一分，黄丹二两，黄蜡二两，麝香半分（细研），乱发一两，油半斤。
以上药物细锉，先用慢火煎油至沸，放入乱发煎至溶解，然后放入诸药，煎煮时提出放下三次，用绵布滤去渣滓，放入黄蜡，接着放入黄丹、麝香搅匀，膏成后用瓷盒盛装。使用时先用米泔水清洗，擦干，将膏摊在旧布上贴敷。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬溃穴后，宜用的生肌膏方：
黄丹半两，黄蜡半两，杏仁（汤浸去皮）一两，乱发一两，蛇蜕皮一条，菜子油六两，皂荚三寸（水浸去黑皮子）。
以上药物先取杏仁、蛇皮、皂荚捣碎，又将菜油在铫子中煎化乱发，接着放入杏仁等三味同煎，提出放下三次，用绵布滤去渣滓，放入黄蜡，接着放入黄丹，用柳条篦子不停搅拌至均匀，候膏成后用瓷器收存，涂在旧布上贴敷。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬未溃穴，宜贴的斑蝡膏方：
斑蝡二枚（去翅足），松脂三两，雄雀粪一两（为末），巴豆十枚（去皮心，用浆水煮过，与斑蝡研细）。
以上药物先取松脂入锅熔化，放入斑蝡、巴豆熬成膏，捏作饼子，趁热贴在瘰疬上，待溃穴后用生肌膏贴敷，每日换两次，痊愈为止。（方子在前面）。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬穿溃，脓水不止的密陀僧散方：
密陀僧二两，胡粉二两，熊胆一两，芦荟一两，白芨一两，白蔹一两。
以上药物捣碎，细筛为散剂。敷在疮口内有效。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬肿硬的皂荚刺散方：
取皂荚刺一斤在盆中烧，待火势旺盛时，取牛蒡子半升撒入火中，与皂角刺一起烧成灰，待冷却取出，捣碎，细筛为散剂。每次用井华水调服一钱，每日三次，三五日内必有恶物排出，状如胶饴，排尽即可永断病根。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬结硬令其内消的方剂：
腻粉半两，鸡蛋三枚（取蛋清使用）。
以上药物调如稀面糊，用文火炒之，用火箸快速搅拌，勿令粘着铫子，候炒至焦黑色即停，加入上好朱砂半两同研如面粉状。每次用粥饮调服半钱，五更时分服用，过一会儿腹痛，大便泻出病根，形状如枣核。如未愈，隔日再服。若已成疮者，宜用后面的散剂贴敷。
《圣惠方》又一方：
毒蛇皮三条，吴茱萸半合。
以上药物烧为灰细研，用生油调和涂抹，必须用帛子遮盖药气，不得冲眼，切记禁忌。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬结核肿硬，欲令溃穴的硇砂丸方：
硇砂一分，砒黄一分。
以上药物同研细，用糯米饮调和制成如小麦粒大小的丸药。先烙破，放入一丸，五日内其核应当坏烂自出，后用生肌膏贴敷。（方子在前面）。
《圣惠方》治疗小儿瘰疬的蜗牛散方：
蜗牛壳一两，真牛乳半升。
以上药物放入铫子中，在慢火上熬，令乳汁熬尽，取蜗牛壳研如粉，加入大黄末一分，再研细。每次用皂荚子仁汤调服半钱，大小便中排出恶物，即愈。
《圣惠方》又一方：
取皂荚子四十九枚，用手指粗细的竹筒，装入皂荚子，紧塞竹筒口，投入粪坑中，浸泡四十九天，取出洗净晒干，捣碎，细筛为散剂。每次用粥饮调服半钱，每日三次。根据患儿年龄大小调整剂量。
《圣惠方》又一方：
取白花蛇五两，用酥油涂抹，烤至黄焦色，捣碎，细筛为散剂。每次用粥饮调服半钱，每日三次。根据患儿年龄大小酌情加减。
《圣惠方》又一方：
取白僵蚕炒制，捣碎，细筛为散剂。每次用温水调服半钱，每日三次。根据患儿年龄大小酌情加减。
《圣惠方》治疗瘰疬结成块状疼痛肿胀，穿溃脓水不绝，不论新旧皆能治愈的薄荷丸方：
薄荷一束（如碗大，阴干），皂荚十挺（长一尺二寸，不蛀坏的，去掉黑皮涂酥油炙至焦黄）。
以上药物捣碎，用酒一斗，浸泡经过三个夜晚，取出晒干，再浸泡三个夜晚，如此直到酒被吸尽为止，焙干捣碎，细筛为散，用烧饭团成如梧桐子大小的丸药。每次饭前用黄酒汤送服二十丸，小儿减量服用。
茅先生治疗小儿瘰疬、风癧、冷癧已破溃者，用药放入的方剂：
锻石二两（用好醋二升煮干如饴糖状），杏仁粉一两，腻粉半两。
以上拌匀，滴水为丸如弹子大，放在窟窿内，用纸贴之，药物自行熔化，肌肉自行生长，一个窟窿只放一丸药。
张涣妙圣散方 治疗瘰疬不消退：
绵黄芪一两，连翘一两，川大黄（炒），鸽粪（烧灰），糯米（用斑蝡七个同炒黄，不用斑蝡），犀角（镑屑）半两。
以上捣碎，罗为细末。每次服用一钱，水八分一盏，加入酒三两滴，同煎至五分，去渣滓，放温令时时呷之。
张涣紫檀散方 敷治瘰疬瘿核：
紫檀香一两，木香一两，川芒硝（研）一两，卷柏一两，川大黄半两，黄芍药半两。
以上捣碎，罗为细末。每次用少许，用鸡蛋清调和，稀稠适度，涂于患处。
《王氏手集》治疗新旧瘰疬方：
不蛀皂角（去皮，酥炙黄），威灵仙（去土），仙灵脾（用叶去枝梗）。
以上等分为细末，炼蜜为丸如绿豆大。每次服用二十五丸，温米饮送下，空腹食前临卧，每日三次。忌猪肉、油腻、热面、茶，疾病痊愈后，饮食恢复常规。

硇砂（研）二钱，腻粉二钱（各一分也可以）。
以上取鸡蛋一个，敲破一头，沥鸡清在净盏内，不用蛋黄，将鸡清和前两种药放入壳内和匀，用面糊纸贴住破处，再用面饼子裹住鸡蛋放入无油的铛内，水煮近千沸，取出阴干，细研如粉。用时令患者先吃酒一盏，稍后用酒调药半钱，疾病随大便泻下如桃胶，这是病邪下行。如未愈，再服。重者须服两三剂。忌油腻、鱼腥、动风气之物。
《王氏手集》治疗瘰疬方：
取牛李子一名天茄子，入九月经霜后采摘，去苗取根，用竹刀子割去皮撕开，在新瓦上焙干为末。不犯铁器。
每次服用二钱，用活鲫鱼一枚，去鳞剖开肚中，将药末纳入肚中，用湿纸包裹煨熟，细细嚼吃，以米饮送下。如有疮则内消，已有疮只用末津唾调贴神效。
《王氏手集》治疗瘰疬未及成疮的玉露丸方：
斑蝡二十一个（去头），海金砂三钱，寒食面一钱。
以上药物一处为细末，滴水为丸如绿豆大。候药干，再以寒食面和做湿面复裹药，再丸药。吃时用浆水二盏，将一盏入药在内，煎沸煮动，药面漉在余一盏冷浆水，取出药，以浆水下。其瘰疬病随小便出了。十岁以下至三岁以上，每二岁吃一丸；十岁吃五丸；自十岁以上至二十岁以上，每一岁一丸；自三十岁以上，每二岁一丸。根据虚实加减。
*Chaoshi Bingyuan* (Source of Diseases) on the Syndrome of Scrofula in Children: When children develop hot sores on their bodies, scrofula is bound to occur. Its manifestation presents as nodules forming between the skin and flesh, usually two or three connected together. This arises from the struggle between wind pathogen and blood qi, generating phlegm nodules.
*Yingtong Baojian*: Scrofula in children is caused by accumulated heat in the Liver attacking the chest and neck, leading to the accumulation and stagnation of sinews and blood, forming lumps on the head, neck, and axilla.

Mash the inner bark of Elm (*Ulmus* spp.) into a paste and apply it to the affected area, changing frequently.

Take one liang of Mylabris (*Mylabris phalerata*), remove wings and feet, stir-fry with one sheng of millet until scorched yellow, discard the millet, and finely grind the Mylabris. Add four liang of dried Mint (*Mentha haplocalyx*) powder, mix evenly, and bind with egg white from a black hen to form pills the size of mung beans. Take one pill fasting with aged tea, gradually increasing to five pills. Thereafter, decrease by one pill daily until reaching one pill, then maintain a dosage of five pills daily.
*Shenghui Fang*, Xijiao San (Rhinoceros Horn Powder) for treating scrofula in children accompanied by swelling and pain, high fever, intestinal obstruction, dark and scanty urination, mental restlessness, and insomnia:

Grind the above herbs into a coarse powder. Take one qian per dose, decoct with one small cup of water until reduced to half a cup, strain, and administer warm according to the child's age and condition.
*Shenghui Fang*, Mutong San (Akebia Stem Powder) for treating severe scrofula in children with high fever, irritability, and restlessness:

Grind the above herbs into a fine powder. Take one "yi zi" dose fasting with warm wine, followed by a little vinegar water after some time. The pathogen will be discharged via urine. Adjust dosage according to the child's age.

Grind the above herbs into powder, mix with egg white to appropriate consistency, and apply to the swelling. If the sore breaks, remove Mirabilite before application.

Grind the above herbs into a fine powder, mix evenly. Before application, wash the sore clean with warm saline water, dry, and apply according to sore size. Use twice daily.

Finely chop the herbs. Boil oil over low heat, add human hair and dissolve. Add other herbs, boil three times lifting off heat. Strain through silk, add beeswax, then lead monoxide and musk, stirring until uniform. Store in porcelain. Wash with rice water before use, spread on old cloth, and apply.

Lead monoxide (*Lithargyrum*) half liang, Beeswax (*Cera Flava*) half liang, Almond kernel (*Pruni Armeniaci Semen*) (blanched, peeled) one liang, Human hair (*Capillus Humanus*) one liang, Snake slough (*Bombyx Batryticatus*) one strip, Rapeseed oil six liang, Soap bean (*Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus*) three cun (soaked, black skin removed).
Crush almond, snake slough, and soap bean. Melt human hair in rapeseed oil, add the three crushed herbs, boil three times lifting off heat. Strain, add beeswax, then lead monoxide, stirring continuously with a willow stick until uniform. Store in porcelain, spread on cloth, and apply.
*Shenghui Fang*, Banmao Gao (Mylabris Plaster) for non-ulcerated scrofula:
Mylabris (*Mylabris phalerata*) two pieces (remove wings and feet), Pine resin (*Pini Resina*) three liang, Sparrow droppings (*Passeris Excrementum*) one liang (powdered), Croton seed (*Crotonis Fructus*) ten pieces (peeled, heart removed, boiled in vinegar water, ground with Mylabris).
Melt pine resin, add Mylabris and Croton seed, cook into a paste, shape into cakes. Apply hot to the scrofula. Once ulcerated, switch to muscle-generating ointment. Change twice daily until cured.

Burn one jin of soap bean thorns in a basin. When fire is strong, sprinkle half sheng of burdock seeds into the fire. Burn both into ash, cool, crush, and sieve finely. Take one qian per dose mixed well water, three times daily. Within three to five days, foul matter resembling maltose will be discharged. Complete discharge ensures permanent cure.

Calomel (*Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite*) half liang, Egg whites from three eggs.
Mix into a thin batter, stir-fry over low heat with rapid stirring using chopsticks to prevent sticking, until scorched black. Mao Xiansheng's formula for applying medication to broken scrofula, wind sores, and cold sores:
Calcined alum (*Alumen Ustum*) two liang (boiled in two sheng of good vinegar until thick like syrup), Almond powder (*Pruni Armeniaci Semen*) one liang, Calomel (*Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite*) half liang.
Mix, bind with water drops to form pills the size of a bullet. Place in the cavity, cover with paper. The medicine melts, promoting tissue regeneration. One pill per cavity.

Sal ammoniac (*Natrii Chloridum*) (ground) two qian, Calomel (*Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite*) two qian (or one qian each).
Break one egg, separate white into a clean cup. Mix drug powder with egg white inside the shell. Seal break with dough paste. Wrap egg in dough, boil in oil-free pot for nearly a thousand boils. Dry, grind to powder. Patient drinks one cup of wine first. Then take half a qian of medicine mixed with wine. Disease exits via stool like peach gum. Repeat if necessary. Severe cases require two to three doses. Avoid greasy food, fish, and wind-aggravating foods.

Collect Tian Qie Zi (Cowherb fruit/Solanum nigrum fruit) after frost in the ninth month. Take roots, peel with bamboo knife, dry on new tile, grind to powder. Avoid iron.
