Guibei (spinal deformity) is caused by infants sitting too early and being exposed to external wind pathogens. It manifests as a curved and elevated back, resembling a turtle. Internally, Songrui Dan should be taken for gradual treatment; externally, moxibustion should be applied, and tortoise urine should be dabbed on the affected area.
[Note] Guibei refers to a condition where an infant sits prematurely, allowing exogenous wind pathogens to invade the spine and dorsal region, resulting in kyphosis with a high, curved back resembling a turtle. This often becomes a lifelong chronic ailment. Internal treatment involves regulating with Songrui Dan. External treatment follows the acupoint moxibustion method from *Shenghui Fang*: Moxa Feishu (BL13), Xinshu (BL15), and Geshu (BL17), three to five moxa cones per point. Alternatively, dabbing tortoise urine on the joints can also yield effective results.

Wuruan (limb flaccidity) is a syndrome caused by congenital insufficiency, characterized by flaccidity of the head and neck, hands, feet, mouth, and muscles. Treatment utilizes Dihuang Wan and Fuyuan San, relying heavily on appropriate postnatal care.
[Note] "Wuruan" refers to flaccidity of the head and neck, hands, feet, mouth, and muscles. Head flaccidity implies weakness in the neck; hand and foot flaccidity imply weakness in the four limbs; muscle flaccidity implies loose skin and lack of muscle mass; mouth flaccidity implies thin lips and weakness. These five conditions arise from congenital insufficiency and inadequate Qi and Blood, leading to weak bones and meridians and atrophied muscles and sinews. Treatment should prioritize tonifying Qi.
