目有障膜形如垂帘者何也？答曰∶头风引邪，不能四散，攻入于目，宜服二神散，点珍珠虎液膏。
二神散
车前子 菟丝子（酒煮） 五味子 枳壳 熟地 当归
共为末，蜜水调下。
以上七十二症方治，俱系异授，审视明悉，对症用药，手到病除，真有令人重见天日之功。
眼丹 败毒黄连丸
黄连 甘草 连翘 羌活（各一两）
共末蜜丸，梧桐子大，服五十丸，白汤下。
上下眼丹 流气饮
芍药 茯苓 防风 甘草 柴胡 羌活 独活 川芎 青皮 紫苏 荆芥 麦冬 连翘 石青
水煎饱时服（夏月加黄连）。
赤眼神效八宝丹
当归（一两） 防风（一两） 川连（一两） 朴硝（二两） 杏仁（去皮尖，二十粒） 铜青（一钱）
白矾（五钱） 郁李仁（去皮，四十九粒）
以上八味，俱要称准分两，以生绢包之，如梅子大，放碗内，倾水泡一时，再隔水炖热熏洗，一日五次。
七针丹
白菊花（三钱） 花椒（三钱） 青盐（二钱五分） 铜绿（三钱五分） 胆矾（三钱五分） 乌梅（一个，
去核） 新花针（七口，用丝线穿就）
前药六味研碎，用净水一饭碗拌匀，盛入深碗内，针置药下，再加水二碗，线头露出碗沿，用大盘盖就，隔
水放锅内盖好，煮六时之久，木炭火须大，不失时候，随时添火。针化丹成，用净绢挤去药渣，磁瓶装之，放阴
地一日，即可取用。此药永远不坏，每用少许，搽眼外眶，内眼角，少闭片时，立可见功。凡炼此丹，总宜虔诚
为是。针化丹成，方能取验。如煮至六时，针有未化，不可用，须另煮。按此丹传自随州陈茂才家，茂才乐善好
施，年六十双目成瞽，忽来一客，传此丹而去。陈根据法试之，光明日见，未及半载，双目复明。后遇有目疾者，
治之无不神效。
治内障云翳神效方 愈者多人。
雄鸡化骨（三个） 古铜钱（一个） 新花针（三口） 大乌梅（三个） 大杏仁（七个） 真胆矾（三钱）
大青盐（一钱） 砂仁（一钱） 川椒（二钱，拣去闭口者）
上药置瓷罐内，以水二茶杯浸之，封固过七日洗眼。其水春秋用温，夏用凉，冬用开热。每日用水洗眼眶外
皮，次日即效。

用水煎煮，在饱腹时服用（夏季加黄连）。
赤眼神效八宝丹
当归（一两）、防风（一两）、川黄连（一两）、朴硝（二两）、杏仁（去皮和尖，二十粒）、铜青（一钱）、白矾（五钱）、郁李仁（去皮，四十九粒）。
以上八味药，都要准确称量分量，用生绢包裹，做成梅子大小的药团，放入碗中，倒入水泡一个时辰，再隔水炖热后熏洗眼睛，每天五次。
七针丹
白菊花（三钱）、花椒（三钱）、青盐（二钱五分）、铜绿（三钱五分）、胆矾（三钱五分）、乌梅（一个，去核）、新花针（七口，用丝线穿好）。
前面六味药研碎，用一碗净水拌匀，盛入深碗中，将针置于药下方，再加水两碗，让线头露出碗沿，用大盘盖好，隔水放在锅内煮六个时辰之久。木炭火要旺，不丢失火候，随时添加燃料。针化成丹后，用干净的绢布挤去药渣，装入瓷瓶，放在阴凉处一天，即可取用。此药永远不坏，每次取少许，涂抹于眼外眶和内眼角，稍闭片刻，立刻见效。凡是炼制此丹，总以虔诚为宜。只有针化为丹，才能取得疗效。如果煮了六个时辰，针仍未化开，不可使用，必须重新煮制。据传此丹来自随州陈茂才家，陈茂才乐善好施，六十岁时双目失明，忽然来了一位客人，传授此丹后离去。陈按照方法试用，视力日渐光明，不到半年，双目复明。后来遇到有眼疾的人，治疗无不神效。

Eye Dan (Ocular Carbuncle) - Baidu Huanglian Wan (Defeat Toxin Coptis Pill)
Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Uralensis), Lianqiao (Fructus Forsythiae), Qianghuo (Rhizoma et Radix Notopterygii) (each one liang).
Grind into powder, make pills with honey, size of Fructus Loropetali Chinensis, take fifty pills each time, wash down with clear warm water.
Upper and Lower Eye Dan - Liuqi Yin (Flowing Qi Decoction)

Decoct in water, take when full (add Huanglian in summer).
Chishen Shenxiao Babao Dan (Red Eye Miraculous Eight-Treasure Pill)
Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis, one liang), Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, one liang), Chuanlian (Rhizoma Coptidis, one liang), Puxiao (Natrii Sulfas, two liang), Xingren (Semen Armeniacae Amarum, peeled and tips removed, twenty grains), Tongqing (Malachite Green, one qian), Baijian (Alumen, five qian), Yuziren (Semen Prunus Persicae, peeled, forty-nine grains).
Weigh the above eight ingredients accurately, wrap in raw silk, form into balls the size of a plum. Place in a bowl, soak in water for one shichen (two hours). Then heat by steaming over water, fumigate and wash the eyes. Do this five times a day.
Qizhen Dan (Seven-Needle Pill)
Baijuhua (Flos Chrysanthemi Indici, three qian), Huajiao (Pericarpium Zanthoxyli, three qian), Qingyan (Halitum, two qian and five fen), Tonglü (Vermiculus Cupri, three qian and five fen), Danfan (Alumen Crudum, three qian and five fen), Wumei (Fructus Mume, one piece, pitted), Xin Huazhen (New Flower Needle, seven pieces, threaded with silk).
Grind the first six herbs finely, mix with one rice bowl of clean water, place in a deep bowl. Put the needle under the medicine, add two bowls of water, let the thread end protrude from the bowl rim. Cover with a large plate, place in a pot of water, cover well, and boil for six shichen (twelve hours). Use strong charcoal fire, maintain the timing, and add fuel as needed. When the needle dissolves into pill essence, squeeze out the dregs with clean silk, store in a porcelain bottle, and keep in a cool place for one day before use. This medicine never spoils. Apply a small amount to the outer orbital margin and inner canthus, close the eye briefly, and efficacy is seen immediately. When refining this pill, sincerity is essential. Only when the needle fully transforms can it be effective. If after six hours the needle has not dissolved, do not use it; re-boil. This prescription was transmitted from the family of Chen Maocai in Suizhou. Chen was benevolent and charitable. At age sixty, he became blind. Suddenly, a guest arrived, transmitted this prescription, and left. Chen tried it according to the method, his vision gradually improved, and within half a year, both eyes recovered sight. Later, treating those with eye diseases with this method proved miraculously effective.
