针对临产时耻骨联合（交骨）不开，或分娩超过五七日仍未生产，以及身材矮小女子因耻骨联合不开导致胎儿滞留、危及生命的情况。服用此方约一二寸香的时间（即短时间内），败龟板（一个，炙烤至四两） 女人头发一握（洗净去油，保留药性，选择生过男孩的妇女头发） 当归（全部使用四两） 川芎（二两）
以上药物共同研磨成粉末。每次服用六钱，用桂圆肉汤送服。体质强壮者可加入人参一钱，煎汤送服效果更佳。
麻油（五钱） 优质蜂蜜（一两）
一同煎煮十余次沸腾。温服。胎位滑利即可产出。
鼠肾一对，用烧酒浸泡三天。去除皮膜。轻粉 雄精（各一钱） 檀香（三分） 麝香（一分）

Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 1 liang 5 qian) Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix, stir-fried with salt water, 2 liang) Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, caulis used) Du Zhong (Eucommiae Cortex, 3 liang each) Bai Zhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma, stir-fried, 4 liang) Chuan Duan (Drynariae Rhizoma, soaked in wine, dried, 4 liang)
Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Use rice paste as a binder to form pills the size of mung beans. Take 70-80 pills on an empty stomach, washed down with clear broth. Another prescription adds Huang Qin (Scutellariae Radix, honey-roasted, 1 liang 5 qian).
For cases where the pubic symphysis (Jiao Gu) fails to open during labor, or delivery is delayed beyond five to seven days, or in short-statured women whose pubic symphysis fails to open leading to imminent death from retention. After a short period (approx. time it takes to burn incense of length 1-2 cun), take: Bie Jia (Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum, roasted, 4 liang) Nu Ren Fa (Human Hair, one handful, washed free of oil, preserved medicinally, preferably from a woman who has borne a male child) Dang Gui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix, whole root, 4 liang) Chuan Xiong (Ligustici Chuanxiong Rhizoma, 2 liang)
Grind all ingredients into fine powder. Take 6 qian per dose, washed down with Long Yan Rou Tang (Decoction of Dimocarpus Longan Aril). For patients with strong constitution, add Ren Shen (Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, 1 qian) and wash down with its decoction for better effect.
Ma You (Sesame Oil, 5 qian) Hao Mi (Good Honey, 1 liang)
Boil together for more than ten boils. Take warm. The fetus will slip out easily.
Shu Shen Zi (Rattus Kidney, one pair) Soaked in Shao Jiu (Baijiu) for three days. Remove skin and membrane. Qing Fen (Calomel, 1 qian) Xiong Jing (Realgar, 1 qian) Tan Xiang (Santalum Album Lignum, 3 fen) She Xiang (Moschus, 1 fen)

When the fetus has not yet descended but the amniotic sac has ruptured first, causing dryness and difficult labor. Use Che Qian Zi (Plantaginis Semen, 2-3 liang), half bowl of wine, and four bowls of water. Decoct and drink.
Wa Song (Parmelia Sorediata, juice extracted) Drink one mouthful; the fetus will descend immediately. Alternatively, use Chan Tui (Cicada Slough), roast on a tile until dry, grind into powder, and take with clear broth. The fetus will drop within one quarter-hour. Divine efficacy.
Another prescription:
Xiao Bei Mu (Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus, seven bulbs, remove heart), decoct and drink; the fetus will descend immediately.
Huang Niu Shi (Bovis Feces) Stir-fry until hot, mix with vinegar, and apply to the mother's umbilicus. The fetus will be expelled immediately.
