Resolves the toxicity of wild Langdu. Li Yun states that this is an epiphyte growing on camphor trees; the tree is large with branches penetrating into the muscle. Nowadays, people use walnut husk as a substitute, but this is not the true product. According to the *Tongjun Lu*: It grows in Shangluo, is bark from a tree, resembles Houpo (Magnolia Bark) in shape, has a color similar to Cinnamon Twig (Guizhi) but whiter, and its grain runs both longitudinally and transversely. Nowadays, merchants cut it to resemble Houpo, but it lacks the distinct longitudinal and transverse grain patterns. It is unknown what this substance is; one cannot speculate on its authenticity or determine which is the genuine article.
