玄参不拘多少，为末，米泔水煮猪肝，入药末在肝内，细嚼，用干姜汤送下。

用水半钟洗眼皮。
治风毒瓦斯攻眼，赤肿视物不明，隐涩难开。
龙胆草 防己 大黄 当归 荆芥穗 甘草 防风 川芎 赤芍药
水煎入砂糖一块同煎服。
夜明砂 蛤粉
上各等分为末，每服二钱，用猪肝三指大，批开入药于肝内，用麻线扎定，用陈米一协议煮熟，空心服。
治雀目。
蛤粉 黄蜡
上各等分，溶化如枣子大，入药和蜡成丸，用猪肝二两批开入丸于肝内，麻线扎定，瓷器内煮熟，熏眼，温服。
治雀目痘眼全不见者有效。
谷精草 蛤粉 夜明砂
上各一两，每服三钱，用猪肝一片，重二两，批开掺药于内，麻线扎定，米泔水煮熟待凉临卧细嚼，又用猪肝汁咽
下，忌生冷、油面、热毒之物。
夜不见光。
茯苓、石膏各一两，猪肝尖七叶，老米半升，共浸一时，略炒，闷饭吃五六七次即有效矣。

以上两味药各等分研成粉末，每次服用二钱，取三指宽的猪肝一片，剖开后将药末填入肝内，用麻线扎紧，用陈米适量煮熟，空腹服用。
治疗雀目（夜盲症）。
蛤粉、黄蜡。
以上两味药各等分，熔化至如枣子大小，将药与蜡混合制成丸剂，取二两猪肝剖开，将药丸放入肝内，用麻线扎紧，在瓷器中煮熟，熏蒸眼睛，并温服。
治疗雀目及痘疮引起的眼疾完全看不见者有效。
谷精草、蛤粉、夜明砂。
以上各一两，每次服用三钱，取一片重二两的猪肝，剖开后掺入药物在内，用麻线扎紧，用米泔水煮熟待凉，临睡前细细咀嚼，再用猪肝汁咽下，忌食生冷、油腻面食、热毒之物。
夜间看不见光亮。

Pound fresh Rehmanniae Radix (Shengdihuang) into a paste to mix with the medicine, place a paper barrier between the medicine and the skin, and apply to the Taiyang acupoint (Taiyang).
Scrophulariae Radix (Xuanshen), quantity不拘 (unrestricted), grind into powder. Boil pig liver in rice washing water (Migan), insert the powdered medicine into the liver, chew thoroughly, and swallow with a decoction of dried ginger (Ganjiang).
Wash three to four times at night.
Aged frost plum (Chenshuangmei, 3 pieces), copper coins (3 pieces), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian, 3 fen).
Use half a zhong of water to wash the eyelids.
To treat wind-toxic qi attacking the eyes, causing redness, swelling, blurred vision, and a dull, astringent sensation making it difficult to open the eyes.
Gentianae Radix (Longdancao), Podophylli Rhizoma et Radix (Fangji), Rheii Radix et Rhizoma (Dahuang), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Schizonepetae Spica (Jingjie Sui), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Gancao), Saposhnikoviae Radix (Fangfeng), Chuanxiong Rhizoma (Chuanxiong), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishao).
Decoct in water, add a piece of white sugar, decoct together, and take orally.
Columbae Mier (Yeming Sha), Concha Meretricis et Cyclinae (Ge Fen).
Grind the above two ingredients in equal parts into powder. Take 2 qian per dose. Slice a piece of pig liver about three fingers wide, split it open, insert the medicine inside, tie securely with hemp thread, cook thoroughly with aged rice, and take on an empty stomach.
To treat Nyctalopia (Que Mu).
Concha Meretricis et Cyclinae (Ge Fen), Beeswax (Huang La).
Melt the above two ingredients in equal parts until they form balls the size of a jujube. Mix the medicine with the wax to form pills. Split open 2 liang of pig liver, insert the pills inside, tie securely with hemp thread, cook in a porcelain vessel, fumigate the eyes with the steam, and take the decoction warm.
Effective for treating Nyctalopia and blindness caused by smallpox where vision is completely lost.
Eriocauli Flos (Gujingcao), Concha Meretricis et Cyclinae (Ge Fen), Columbae Mier (Yeming Sha).
Take 1 liang of each. Take 3 qian per dose. Take one slice of pig liver weighing 2 liang, split it open, sprinkle the medicine inside, tie securely with hemp thread, cook in rice washing water, let cool, chew thoroughly before bed, and swallow with pig liver juice. Avoid raw/cold foods, oily/flour products, and heat-toxic substances.
Inability to see light at night.
Poria (Fuling), Gypsum Fibrosum (Shigao), each 1 liang; seven slices of pig liver tip, half a sheng of old rice. Soak together for one shichen (two hours), stir-fry slightly, steam with rice, eat five to seven times, and effectiveness will appear.
Asarum Herba (Beixixin), Angelicae Sinensis Radix (Danggui), Coptidis Rhizoma (Huanglian), Paeoniae Radix Rubra (Chishao), Gentianae Radix (Longdancao).
Grind the above ingredients in equal parts, decoct in water, add a little white sugar, decoct together, and take orally.
Effective for treating Red Eye Disease (Chi Yan).
Indigo Naturalis (Qingdai), Frankincense (Ruxiang), each 1 qian; Borneolum Syntheticum (Bingpian), 5 fen.
Grind the above ingredients in equal parts into powder, mix with water, and insufflate into the nose for effectiveness.
