[Duoming San for Treating Small Intestine Qi] An effective prescription provided by Wang Zhizhong, former Professor of Xiazhou.
Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizome) in any amount, stir-fried with salt; dried beeswax in half the amount of Yanhusuo. Grind these two ingredients into a fine powder. Take 0.5 qian or 1 qian per dose, mixed with warm wine. This prescription treats Ben Tun (Rushing Pig) syndrome and various types of Qi stagnation in the small intestine, characterized by unbearable pain.

[Zhao Penglao's Military Formula] Passed down by Zhan Wuzi.
Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizome), Chuanlianzi (Toosendan Fruit, stir-fried), Boshang Huixiang (Fennel Seed, stir-fried), Quanxie (Scorpion, stir-fried), each 1 liang; Fuzi (Prepared Aconite Root, 0.5 liang, skin and bud removed, used raw).
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with hot wine when pain occurs. For severe cases, no more than two doses are needed; the effect is miraculous!

[Passed down by Hu Weijie via Physician Ling] Has been used to treat others with effective results!
Jingjiesui (Schizonepeta Spike, stir-fried until dry on clean tiles) in any amount, ground into a fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with hot wine to dissipate the condition.

[Personally effective for Zheng Henglao]
Take one clean stalk of grass, wheat straw is particularly good. Measure the distance between the two corners of the patient's mouth as one length, break it once. Do this three times to form a triangle, shaped like "△". Place this triangular shape on the affected area, and moxibustion should be applied to both acupoints simultaneously. Use moxa cones the size of a wheat grain, apply 14 or 21 moxibustions (Zhuang) to achieve relief.

[Pain in the lower abdomen, swelling and pain of the external genitalia on one side] Passed down from He Yafan of the Military Head Office to Chen Duan. Upon onset, only one or two doses are needed to stop it immediately. He stated that taking this medicine prevents lower body diseases.
Huixiang (Fennel Seed), Shizhazi (Persimmon Core, known as Tangqiuzi in Materia Medica, only those from Chuzhou are used for medicine).
Grind the above two ingredients in equal proportions into a fine powder. Take 1 qian or 2 qian per dose, mixed with salted wine, taken hot on an empty stomach.

[Shechuangzi (Cnidium Fruit), Chuanjiao (Sichuan Pepper), Mutong (Akebia Stem), Shizhuyu (Cornus Fruit), Bencao (Ligusticum Chuanxiong), Chenjuapi (Tangerine Peel)] each 1 liang.
Grind the above ingredients into a coarse powder. For each use, take seven green onion whites with roots, three bowls of water, and two spoonfuls of the herbal powder. Boil for five to seven boils. First fumigate the affected area, then wash with the liquid when it is comfortably warm.

[Prescription by Judge Yuan Zhuo]
Use a crucible that has previously held gold or silver, crush it, grind it, and refine it to an extremely fine powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with hot wine.

[Another Prescription] For critical cases, administering the medicine orally leads to recovery. Gan Taiwei, Director of the Provincial Administration, stated that this is a miraculous prescription from the Imperial Palace, passed down by Zhao Fugan.
Haishuituan (Cuttlebone) is burned with charcoal until carbonized (preserving its nature) into ash, mixed with hot wine. If unavailable, cuttlefish intestines can also be used.

[Passed down by Guo Chayuan Ming Delin to Chancellor Ge] Stated: More than ten years ago, he suffered from Hernia (Shan Qi) and was cured by moxibustion. The method involves applying moxibustion at the transverse crease of the middle phalanx under the second toe of both left and right feet. One should not walk much for half a month, but self-administration of other medicines is permissible. He has not had a recurrence since the moxibustion. Ge's nephew Sun Gang also verified the effectiveness of this moxibustion method.
