This disease resides in the bone marrow. Qin Yue Ren (Bian Que) considered it a condition beyond the power of the Gods of Life to remedy. If the bone marrow is diseased... [text incomplete]. *Ba Shi Yi Nan Jing Shu* states: "The Meeting Point of Bones is Dazhu; bone diseases are treated here. The Meeting Point of Marrow is Juegu; marrow diseases are treated here." This indicates that acupuncture and moxibustion methods exist. How can one neglect them? However, *Mingtang Shangjing* states that Dazhu is prohibited for moxibustion, whereas *Tongren Shuxue Zhenjiu Tujing* states it can be moxibusted with 7 cones, and *Mingtang Xiajing* states it can be moxibusted with 5 cones. *Suwen* and other classics agree, only *Mingtang* differs. Moxibustion is permissible. Moreover, *Mingtang Jing* indeed states that for prohibited points, 3 cones are allowed. If the moxa cone is small, 1 or 2 cones are also acceptable. Furthermore, moxibusting Shanglian, Juegu, and other acupoints is especially beneficial.
