妇女人中风口噤的病症，是因为体质虚弱感受风邪。风邪侵入下颌和面颊部位，夹持着口部的筋脉。手三阳经脉结聚于下颌和面颊，足阳明经……
方剂
羚羊角散（出自《圣惠方》），治疗妇人中风。症见心胸痰浊壅盛，口噤不能言语，肝气厥逆，神志昏迷不识人。
羚羊角屑（一两）、细辛（三分）、枳壳（一两，麸炒至微黄，去瓤）、白术（一两）、当归（一两，锉碎，微炒）、桂心（三两）、木通（一两，锉碎）、汉防己（一两）、附子（一两，炮裂，去皮脐）、赤茯苓（一两）、甘菊花（一两）、防风（一两，去芦头）、葛根（二两，锉碎）、秦艽（二两，去苗）、枫树寄生（三两）。以上药物研为散剂。每次服用四钱，加水一中盏，放入生姜半分，煎煮至五分，滤去药渣，加入淡竹沥一合，再煮沸一两沸。
桂心散（出自《圣惠方》），治疗妇人中风。症见咽喉中气塞壅闷，口噤不语，肝气厥逆不识人。或者伴有针灸时不知疼痛的症状。
桂心（二两）、防风（一两，去芦头）、汉防己（一两）、麻黄（一两，去根节）、白术（一两）、人参（……子（一两，炮裂去……分。去……防风散（出自《圣惠方》），治疗妇人突然中风。症见口噤不能言语，四肢紧急抽搐偏侧挛急。

天南星散（出自《圣惠方》），治疗妇人中风。症见口噤，四肢拘急。

走马散（出自《圣惠方》），治疗妇人中风。症见口噤，四肢强直。
黑附子（炮）、天麻（各半两）、桂心、石膏、麻黄（去根节）、蝎梢（炒）、川乌（炮，去皮尖）、南……豆淋酒调服灌下。
附子理中汤（出自《大全良方》），治疗五脏中寒引起的口噤，四肢强直，失音不语。

雄黑豆（二合，小而紧的是）、鸡粪白（二合）。先炒豆子直到声音将绝，加入鸡粪白同炒至黄色，投入酒五升……白术酒（出自《圣惠方》），治疗妇人中风。症见口噤言语不能。
白术（三两，捣碎）、黑豆（三两，炒令熟）。以上用酒四升，煎至三升，滤去药渣，分四次温服。拗开口灌服。
治妇人中风，口噤舌本缩。（出自《圣惠方》）
用芥子一升研细，以醋三升煎取一升，敷于下颌和面颊下方，立即见效。
治中风口噤，舌直不能言语，眼睛不转动。（出自《肘后方》）
用一头雌鸡，全部剖开取出肠胃，用酒五升煮取半量，滤去药渣，全部服下。出汗即愈。如果不能出汗，可以厚盖取汗。

Formulas
Lingyangjiao San (Antelope Horn Powder) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include phlegm turbidity obstructing the chest and heart, jaw stiffness preventing speech, liver Qi rebellion, and unconsciousness where the patient does not recognize people.
Antelope Horn Shavings (1 liang), Xixin (3 fen), Zhike (1 liang, stir-fried with bran until slightly yellow, pith removed), Baizhu (1 liang), Danggui (1 liang, sliced, lightly stir-fried), Guixin (3 liang), Mutong (1 liang, sliced), Hanfangji (1 liang), Fuzi (1 liang, processed until cracked, skin and umbilicus removed), Chifuling (1 liang), Gan Juhua (1 liang), Fangfeng (1 liang, radix removed), Gegen (2 liang, sliced), Qinjiao (2 liang, radix removed), Fengshu Jisheng (3 liang). The above ingredients are ground into a powder. Each dose consists of 4 qian, boiled with one zhong zhan of water and half a fen of fresh ginger, reduced to five parts. Strain the dregs, add one he of Danzhuli (Bamboo Sap), and boil for one or two boils.
Guixin San (Cinnamon Heart Powder) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include qi obstruction and stuffiness in the throat, jaw stiffness preventing speech, liver rebellion causing unconsciousness, or insensitivity to pain during acupuncture and moxibustion.
Guixin (2 liang), Fangfeng (1 liang, radix removed), Hanfangji (1 liang), Mahuang (1 liang, roots and joints removed), Baizhu (1 liang), Renshen (...zi (1 liang, processed until cracked, remove... fen. Remove... Fangfeng San (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats sudden wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include jaw stiffness preventing speech, urgency and spasms in the four limbs with hemiplegic contracture.
Fangfeng (1 liang, radix removed), Chishaoyao (1 liang), Gegen (1 liang, sliced), Huangqin (1 liang), Yinyu (1 liang), Baizhu (1 liang)... tou), Hanfangji (half... zha. Do not count time... Tian Nanxing Wan (Arisaema Pill) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats acute wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include tightness of the jaw and rigidity of the four limbs.
Tian Nanxing (0.5 liang, processed until cracked), Baifuzi (0.5 liang, processed), Ganxie (0.5 liang, lightly stir-fried), Baihuashe Rou (0.5 liang, mixed with wine and stir-fried until yellow), Chijian... lutou), Huoxiang (0.5 liang). Tian Nanxing (stir-fried with ginger juice until yellow), Baifuzi (processed), Hei Fuzi (processed), Wushe Rou (soaked in wine and roasted), Quanxie (equal parts, stir-fried). Grind the above into a fine powder.
Zouma San (Running Horse Powder) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include jaw stiffness and rigidity of the four limbs.
Hei Fuzi (processed), Tianma (each 0.5 liang), Guixin, Shigao, Mahuang (roots and joints removed), Xie Shao (stir-fried), Chuanwu (processed, skin and tips removed), Nan... Doulin Jiu (Bean Dripping Wine) is used to mix and administer orally.
Fuzi Lizhong Tang (Aconite Regulate the Middle Decoction) (from *Daquan Liangfang*), treats cold invasion of the five zang organs causing jaw stiffness, rigidity of the four limbs, loss of voice, and inability to speak.
Da Fuzi (processed), Renshen (radix removed), Jiangjiang (processed), Gancao, Baizhu (equal parts). Finely slice the above. Each dose is 4 qian, boiled with one and a half zhan of water.

Duhuo San (Angelica Pubescens Powder) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include jaw stiffness and failure to recognize people.
Duhuo (0.5 liang), Fangfeng (0.5 liang, radix removed), Jiangjiang (1 fen, processed until cracked and sliced), Guixin (0.5 liang), Danggui (0.5 liang, sliced and lightly stir-fried), Gan... Regardless of time. Pry open the mouth... Wushe San (Snake Meat Powder) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats wind-stroke with jaw stiffness in women.
Wushe Rou (roasted), Quanxie (stir-fried), Tianma, Nanxing (processed), Jiangcan (each 0.5 liang, stir-fried), Nifen (0.5 fen). Grind the above into a fine powder. Add Nifen... Xiongheidou Jiu (Male Black Soybean Wine) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include jaw stiffness and confusion/fainting.
Xiongheidou (2 he, small and tight ones are preferred), Jifenbai (2 he). First stir-fry the beans until the sound nearly ceases, add Jifenbai and stir-fry together until yellow, then pour into 5 sheng of wine... Baizhu Jiu (Atractylodes Macrocephala Wine) (from *Shenghui Fang*), treats wind-stroke in women. Symptoms include jaw stiffness and inability to speak.
Baizhu (3 liang, crushed), Heidou (3 liang, stir-fried until cooked). Boil the above in 4 sheng of wine until reduced to 3 sheng. Strain the dregs, divide into four warm doses. Pry open the mouth and administer.
To treat wind-stroke in women with jaw stiffness and retraction of the tongue root. (from *Shenghui Fang*)
Use 1 sheng of Jiezi (Mustard Seed), grind finely. Boil with 3 sheng of vinegar to obtain 1 sheng. Apply to the submandibular and cheek areas for immediate effect.
To treat wind-stroke with jaw stiffness, straight tongue preventing speech, and immobile eyes. (from *Zhouhou Fang*)
Use one female chicken, dissect completely to extract the intestines and stomach. Boil with 5 sheng of wine to reduce to half. Strain thoroughly and consume all. Recovery occurs with sweating. If sweating does not occur, cover thickly to induce sweat.
Another prescription (from *Zhouhou Fang*)
Use 1 sheng of Jishi (Chicken Manure), roast until yellow and hot. Mix with 3 sheng of wine and stir well. Strain the dregs, divide into two doses. Pry open the mouth if stiff-jawed and administer.
