The five zang organs and six fu organs, the entire skeletal structure, and the nine orifices of the human body are all interconnected through Qi (vital energy). When Qi flows smoothly, the physical form is harmonious; when Qi rebels or stagnates, the physical form becomes diseased. The method of Daoyin (guiding and pulling) is employed to circulate Blood and Qi (vital energy and blood).
Turning the Ribs and Stretching the Feet (from *Shengji Zonglu*): During the Xu, Hai, and Zi hours, Yin Qi begins to generate, and humans enter sleep. During sleep, Qi wanders through the hundred joints. Health cultivators believe that during sleep, the body should be curled up, and upon waking, it should be fully extended.
Beating the Belly and Circulating Qi (from *Shengji Zonglu*): The "Circulating Qi" technique involves closing the eyes, looking upward, raising hands to press against the spine, and inflating the Qi in the Qihai (Sea of Qi, CV6) acupoint to make the Qi rotate internally and externally, then exhaling it out without making sound with the ears. Repeat nine or eighteen times.
If blowing the character "Chui" corresponds to the Kidney, and "Xi" corresponds to the Sanjiao (Triple Burner). Daoyin practitioners who have not received instruction from a master typically follow "Xu" as the forward sequence in the first half of the lunar month (Large Month) and "Xi" as the reverse sequence in the second half (Small Month). The principle of practice, when deduced, does not always correspond to reality. Generally speaking, the six methods do not exceed this scope; exceeding the limit will...
Daoyin and Anqiao (from *Shengji Zonglu*): Jump to stand up, sit upright and straight, interlace hands behind the neck, look upward, raise hands and sway them left and right, creating resistance between the neck and hands. Next, use hands to pull the toes.
True Press: Look upward with face flat, raise the head, creating resistance between the neck and hands. Perform three or four times. This causes Essence to harmonize and Blood vessels to flow freely, preventing Wind pathogens from entering. Long-term practice ensures freedom from disease. Finish.

Pinching the Four Corners of the Eyes (from *Shengji Zonglu*): The *Taishang Sanguan Jing* states: Frequently use hands to press the two inner canthi near the nose, holding the breath until Qi flows, then stop. Repeat cyclically. Regular practice allows the eyes to... see...
Rubbing Hands and Warming the Eyes (from *Shengji Zonglu*): After pinching the four corners of the eyes, immediately hold both hands vertically, rub palms until hot like fire, open eyes, and steam/warm the eyeballs several times.
Constant Practice for Dwelling (from *Shengji Zonglu*): The *Neijing Jing* states: Frequently use both hands to press the small acupoints behind the eyebrows for nine or eighteen times. After one year, one can write at night. It can also be practiced secretly at the Renzhong (GV26) acupoint. Do not reveal the secret. Behind the eyebrows... The Way... Looking Up and Harmonizing... Lower Person... Bending to Press the Mountain Source (from *Shengji Zonglu*): The Purple Micro Lady states: Bending to press the Mountain Source refers to the root of the Renzhong acupoint below the nose, located laterally in the small valley below the nose. During the time of King Zhuang of Chu, the market mayor Song Laizi... Sweeping... To extinguish... Hand as... Three rounds... Source... Closing doors... Prostrating... Evil pathogens...
Managing and Fortifying the City Walls (from *Shengji Zonglu*): The *Xiaohun Jing* states: The ears should frequently listen by tilting left and right, allowing no limitations, enabling clear hearing. This is called managing and fortifying the city walls, with names recorded in the Imperial Registers.

Wiping and Rubbing Shenting (from *Shengji Zonglu*): The *Zhen Gao* states: The face is the courtyard of the Spirit; hair is the glory of the brain. Sadness causes the face to wither; depletion of the brain causes hair to turn white. The *Taisu Danjing* states: On one face... Above... Years... Knock...
Paying Homage to the Three Primaries (from *Shengji Zonglu*): The *Zhen Gao* states: Smoothly stroke the hair as if combing it, so that hair does not turn white.
