In Shi Qi disease (Seasonal Epidemic Disease), some patients have not yet undergone sweating, vomiting, or purging treatments, or after taking medicine, present with a pulse that is surging, full, firm, and rapid; abdominal distension and fullness in the intestines and stomach; dark yellow urine; and difficult defecation. There may be irritability or thirst, and the facial complexion turns red. This is due to accumulated heat in the fu and zang organs.
