Scutellariae Radix (Huangqin), Angelicae Dahuricae Radix (Baizhi), Cimicifugae Rhizoma (Shengma), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen), Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma Preparata with Honey (Zhi Gancao), Pinelliae Rhizoma (Banxia) (each half fen). The above herbs are cut into small pieces. For each dose of four qian, add five slices of Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens (Fresh Ginger) and two Jujubae Fructus (Jujube).
Zhuling San (Poria Powder; this formula is identical to Wuling San / Five-Ingredient Powder with Poria), treats Xiao Ke (Wasting-Thirst) presenting with a floating pulse, difficulty in urination, slight fever, as well as cases where the patient desires to drink water but vomits immediately afterward.
