取白矾不拘多少，用新棉包裹，让患牙咬住固定。有唾液流出即吐出。另一方法：治疗牙齿肿胀，将枯矾研为末，敷于牙齿上。

Teeth "Li Du" (progressive dental caries and decay) refers to the phenomenon where teeth are corroded and gradually disintegrate. Ingredients: Radix Angelicae Pubescentis (Duhuo), Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng, de-radicle), Rhizoma Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong), Radix Asari (Xixin), Radix Angelicae Sinensis (Danggui), Lignum Aquilariae Resinatum (Chenxiang), Radix Rehmanniae Preparata (Shengdihuang), each 1 liang; Lignum Caryophylli (Jitixiang), Fructus Ligustici Lingzhi (Linglingxiang).
Gujingcao San (Guzjing Flower Powder)
Treats teeth Li Du.
Ingredients: Flos Sparganii (Gujingcao, 1 liang, burnt to ash), Herba Portulacae (Machixian, 0.5 liang, dried), Herba Brassicae Rapa Sweet Variety Seedlings (Tian Wujing Miao, 0.5 liang), Radix Cimicifugae (Chuan Shengma, 0.5 liang), Alumen (Baifan, 1 fen, burnt to ash).
Grind all ingredients evenly into powder.
Zaoyan San (Soap Pod and Salt Powder) (From *Shengji Zonglu*)
Treats teeth Li Du with dark black discoloration.
Ingredients: Fructus Gleditsiae Sinensis (Zaojiao, one pod, roasted with butter, skin and seeds removed), Sal Flor (Yanhua), Cortex Sophorae Tonkinensis (Huai Pi, each 0.5 liang), Radix Cimicifugae (Shengma), Alumen (Baifan, boiled until dry), Radix Nardostachyos (Gansongxiang), Radix Asari (Xixin, processed...).
Shengma San (Cimicifuga Powder) (From *Shengji Zonglu*)
Treats teeth Li Du with dark black discoloration.
Ingredients: Cortex Ramuli Sophorae (Huai Zhi Pi, 0.5 liang), Radix Cimicifugae (Shengma, 0.5 liang), Rhizoma Typhonii (Baifuzi, processed), Litharge (Mituoseng, dosage missing in text), Nidus Vespae (Lufengfang, each 1 fen).
Grind into fine powder.
Huangdi Dan San (Yellow Cinnabar and Rehmannia Powder)

Ingredients: Flos Sparganii (Gujingcao, burnt to ash), Ash of Alumen (Baifan Hui, each 1 fen), Secretio Bufonis (Chansu, one piece, roasted dry), Moschus (Shexiang, a small amount).
Finely grind into powder.
Apply to areas of exposed teeth/gums.
Liuzhi Gao (Willow Branch Ointment) (From *Shengji Zonglu*)
Treats teeth Li Du.
Ingredients: Ramulus Salicis (Liuzhi, chopped as a handful), Radix Saposhnikoviae (Fangfeng, de-radicle and leaves, chopped), Radix Asari (Xixin, de-radicle and leaves, chopped), Sal Flor (Yanhua, each 1 fen).
Decoct in three bowls of water until reduced to one bowl.
Shexiang San (Moschus Powder) (From *Shengji Zonglu*)
Treats teeth Li Du.
Ingredients: Moschus (Shexiang), Arsenicum Rubrum (Dingfen, 1 qian), Cera Flava (Huangla, 0.5 liang).
Finely grind the first two ingredients, then melt the wax and mix to spread onto paper. Cut into pieces before bedtime.
Apply to the affected area.
Hutonglei San (Poplar Tars Exudate Powder) (From *Shengji Zonglu*)
Treats teeth Li Du with dark black tooth roots.
Ingredients: Poplar Tars Exudate (Hutonglei, 1 liang), Cinabrium (Dansha, 1 liang), Moschus (Shexiang, 1 fen).
Grind together extremely finely. Use frequently to rub/clean the teeth.
Cuihuai Yujin Fang (Formula for Teeth Brittle and Nearly Destroyed) (From *Shengji Zonglu*)
Treats teeth Li Du.
Take Alumen (Baifan) in any quantity, wrap in new cotton, and have the patient bite down on the affected tooth. Spit out saliva when produced. Another method: For swollen teeth, use calcined alum powdered and applied to the teeth.
