以药敷之瘥
蛤粉散 治夏月抓破皮肤成疮。
蛤粉 白矾（各少许） 胡桃（一个烧灰） 上研细油调。涂之。
龙脑粉方 治痱疮痒痛。
龙脑（一钱） 粟米粉（五两） 上研细末。先用枣叶汤洗后。绵 扑之。
玉女英 治夏月痱疮痒痛。（一名痱子滑石粉）
绿豆粉（四两微炒） 滑石（半两研） 上拌匀如粉。绵扑之。
楝花粉敷方 治痱子瘙痒。
以苦楝花不拘多少。焙干为细末。入蚌粉、滑石末各少许研匀。日频敷之。
丹恶散 治夏月痱疮。
取旧屋梁上。刮取旧赤白罗末。敷之。
治暑月肌肤疮烂。或因搔皮汗出疮。出水。汗出坐卧湿地。多是大暑伤肌肤。
取干壁蚬揉细末敷之。随手即瘥。
治夏月沙痱子痒痛。
用新汲水挪蒿汁调蛤粉敷之。雪水尤妙。
又方
以剪草汁调蛤粉敷之。剪刀草、即慈菇叶也。
治热痱疮
以枣汁揩之。和葛根汁尤妙。亦治热疮。一方枣叶干为末。和葛粉敷之。
治暑月汗渍腋下赤肿及痱疮。
以蜡和蚌粉敷之。立瘥。瓦木上以鸡毛羽扫取。收瓷瓶中。持久亦不坏可用。或用霜亦
可。
一方加滑石、绿豆粉。同和匀。无雪水则用新汲水调涂。或日干扑之。
又方
用升麻煎汤洗。仍须先饮一盏。如神。

（附论）
医经中说，出汗时遇到湿气，就会发生痤痱。这是因为热盛导致出汗，阳气外泄而腠理（皮肤纹理及汗孔）疏松，反而用寒水洗澡，致使热气内郁，形成细疮。
方剂
玉粉散（出自《御药院方》）
治疗因热汗浸渍而成的疮疡，红肿、瘙痒、疼痛。
定粉（一两） 蛤粉（九两五钱） 石膏 白石脂 白龙骨（各半两） 滑石 粟米粉（二两）。研为细末，敷于患处。
七宝散（出自《御药院方》）
治疗因热汗浸渍而成的疮疡，瘙痒疼痛不止。
黄芩 当归 防风 荆芥穗 地骨皮 木通（各三两） 白矾。上药研为粗末。每次取药一两，加水三碗，煎至一碗，去渣温洗患处。
赤石脂散（出自《圣惠方》）
治疗痱子磨破成疮，适宜止痛生肌。
赤石脂（细研一两） 黄柏（去除粗皮锉碎） 腊茶（末各半两） 白面（二两） 龙脑（半钱）。捣研为细末。每次使用时，用棉球蘸药粉扑擦患处。
葛粉方
治疗夏季痱子及热疮。
葛粉（三两） 锻石（微炒半两） 甘草（生用研为末一两）。研为细末。每次服用时（此处原文“服用”疑为“用时”，依语境应为外用），用棉球蘸药粉扑擦患处。
滑石粉方 治疗夏季痱子严重。
滑石（研） 绿豆粉（研） 枣叶（干者研为末各一两）。混合研为细末，遍体敷之。
治热痱疮方
干炭灰（半合） 锻石（半合微炒） 枣叶（半斤）。研为细散。先以温浆水清洗疮口后，再用药粉敷之，即可痊愈。
蛤粉散 治疗夏季抓破皮肤成疮。
蛤粉 白矾（各少许） 胡桃（一个烧成灰）。研细，用油调匀，涂擦患处。
龙脑粉方 治疗痱疮瘙痒疼痛。
龙脑（一钱） 粟米粉（五两）。研为细末。先用枣叶汤清洗，后用棉球蘸药粉扑擦。
玉女英 治疗夏季痱疮瘙痒疼痛。（又名痱子滑石粉）
绿豆粉（四两微炒） 滑石（半两研）。拌匀如粉状，用棉球扑擦。
楝花粉敷方 治疗痱子瘙痒。
取苦楝花不拘多少，焙干研为细末，加入蚌粉、滑石末各少许，研匀，每日频繁敷之。

The medical classics state that sweating followed by exposure to dampness leads to the formation of acne and miliaria. This is because excessive heat causes sweating, leading to the dispersion of Yang Qi and the loosening of the Couli (skin pores and texture). If one bathes with cold water in this state, the heat becomes internally constrained, resulting in fine sores.
Formulas
Yufen San (Jade Powder Powder), from *Yuyao Yuan Fang*
Treats sores caused by hot sweat impregnation, characterized by swelling, itching, and pain.
Dingfen (1 liang), Gafen (9 liang 5 qian), Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum), Baishizhi (Alumen Rubrum), Bailonggu (Fossilia Ossis Mastodi), Huashi (Talcum), Sumifen (Setaria Italicae Farina) (2 liang). Grind into a fine powder and apply to the affected area.
Qibao San (Seven Treasures Powder), from *Yuyao Yuan Fang*
Treats sores caused by hot sweat impregnation, with persistent itching and pain.
Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Fangfeng (Saposhnikoviae Radix), Jingjiesui (Schizonepetae Spica), Digupi (Lycii Cortex), Mutong (Akebiae Caulis) (3 liang each), BaiFan (Alumen). Grind the above herbs into coarse powder. For each use, take 1 liang of the powder, add 3 bowls of water, decoct until 1 bowl remains, strain, and wash the affected area with the warm liquid.
Chishizhi San (Red Halloysite Powder), from *Shenghui Fang*
Treats miliaria rubbed into sores; suitable for relieving pain and promoting tissue regeneration.
Chishizhi (Halloysitum Rubrum) (finely ground 1 liang), Huangbai (Phellodendri Cortex) (coarse skin removed, cut), Lacha (Tea Leaf) (powder, half liang each), Baifan (Wheat Flour) (2 liang), Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) (half qian). Pound and grind into a fine powder. When used, apply with cotton wool.
Ge Fen Fang (Kudzu Root Powder Formula)
Treats summer miliaria and heat sores.
Ge Fen (Puerariae Lobatae Radix Starch) (3 liang), Duanshi (Calcined Alumen) (lightly stir-fried, half liang), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma) (raw, ground into powder, 1 liang). Grind into a fine powder. When using, apply with cotton wool.
Huashi Fen Fang (Talcum Powder Formula)
Treats severe summer miliaria.
Huashi (Talcum) (ground), Lüdou Fen (Vigna Radiatae Semen Starch) (ground), Zaoye (Ziziphi Jujubae Folium) (dried, ground into powder, 1 liang each). Mix and grind into a fine powder, and apply all over the body.
Formula for Treating Heat Miliaria Sores
Gantan Hui (Dry Charcoal Ash) (half he), Duanshi (Calcined Alumen) (half he, lightly stir-fried), Zaoye (Ziziphi Jujubae Folium) (half jin). Grind into a fine powder. First wash the sore with warm sour rice water, then apply the medicinal powder. It will heal.
Gafen San (Clam Shell Powder Powder)
Treats skin broken into sores by scratching during summer.
Gafen (Concha Meretricis et Cyprinis), Bai Fan (Alumen) (small amounts each), Hutao (Juglandis Semen) (one, burned to ash). Grind finely, mix with oil, and apply.
Longnao Fen Fang (Borneol Powder Formula)
Treats miliaria sores with itching and pain.
Longnao (Borneolum Syntheticum) (1 qian), Sumifen (Setaria Italicae Farina) (5 liang). Grind into a fine powder. First wash with Zao Ye Tang (Jujube Leaf Decoction), then apply with cotton wool.
Yunü Ying (Jade Maiden Essence)
Treats summer miliaria sores with itching and pain. (Also known as Feizi Huashi Fen / Miliaria Talcum Powder).
Ludou Fen (Vigna Radiatae Semen Starch) (4 liang, lightly stir-fried), Huashi (Talcum) (half liang, ground). Mix evenly like powder, and apply with cotton wool.
Lianhua Fen Fu Fang (Tree Turpentine Flower Powder Application Formula)
Treats miliaria itching.
Take Bitter Tree Turpentine Flowers (Ku Lian Hua) without limit, dry by baking, grind into fine powder. Add small amounts of Bang Fen (Concha Tridacnatis) and Huashi (Talcum) powder, mix evenly, and apply frequently daily.
Dan'e San (Cinnabar-Evil Powder)
Treats summer miliaria sores.
Scrape old red and white silk fragments from old house beams, and apply the powder.
Treating Summer Skin Ulceration
For skin ulceration in summer months, or sores caused by scratching, sweating, weeping, or sitting/lying on damp ground due to heavy summer heat damaging the skin:
Take dry wall clams (Gan Bi Xian), rub into fine powder, and apply. It heals immediately.
Treating Summer Sand Miliaria Itching and Pain
Use fresh well water mixed with Hao juice (Artemisia Juice) to mix Gafen (Clam Shell Powder) and apply. Snow water is especially excellent.
Another Prescription
Use Jiancao juice (Plantain Herb Juice) to mix Gafen (Clam Shell Powder) and apply. Jiancao (Shears Grass) is also known as Cigu Ye (Colocasia Leaf).
Treating Heat Miliaria Sores
Rub with Jujube Juice (Zao Zhi). Mixing with Ge Gen Juice (Kudzu Root Juice) is especially good. It also treats heat sores. Another prescription uses dried Jujube Leaf powder mixed with Ge Fen (Kudzu Starch) for application.
Treating Summer Sweat-Impregnated Axillary Redness and Swelling and Miliaria Sores
Mix Wax with Bang Fen (Concha Tridacnatis) and apply. It heals immediately. Collect dust from tiles and wood using chicken feathers, store in porcelain bottles; it remains usable for a long time. Frost can also be used.
Another prescription adds Huashi (Talcum) and Lüdou Fen (Mung Bean Starch), mix evenly. If snow water is unavailable, use fresh well water to mix and apply, or dry and apply daily.
Another Prescription
Wash with Shengma Decoction (Polygoni Multiflori Caulis Decoction). Drink one cup beforehand. It is miraculous.
Method for Treating Acne and Miliaria
Cut one cucumber into segments and rub on the miliaria.
Yufen San (Jade Powder Powder)
Treats miliaria and acne.
Hanshuishi (Calcareous Schist) (4 liang, calcined red, taken out to remove fire toxicity on the ground), Jingquanshi (Well Spring Stone) (2 liang, raw), Naozi (Borneol) (half qian). Grind the above ingredients finely, mix with fresh water, and apply.
Treating Miliaria
Rub with sliced winter melon (Dong Gua). Very effective.
Fei Chuang Ying Fen Fang (Miliaria Sore Essence Powder Formula)
Soak millet for several days until it spoils, grind and clarify to obtain starch, and apply to the sore. Especially good.
