The Foot-Shaoyin Kidney Meridian is the meridian of the Kidney. When the meridian is deficient, Wind-Heat pathogenic factors invade it. The pathogens contend with body fluids, resulting in sores growing inside the ear. In common practice, treating ear sores often involves applying external medications such as powders or plugs into the ear, under the belief that this expels pathogens from the exterior, relying solely on external physicians. However, it is unknown that treating the Kidney Meridian through internal medication is superior.
