风头痛这一病症，是由于风邪侵袭阳经，沿着风府穴上行至头脑，导致头部沉重疼痛，心胸膈部烦热，上焦气机壅滞。
天麻散（即川芎天麻散）：治疗头项疼痛，头面部肿胀拘急，风邪损伤营卫之气，引发燥热。
药材：川芎、细辛、地骨皮、苦参、何首乌、石菖蒲、蔓荆子、薄荷叶、杜蒺藜、牛蒡子、荆芥穗。
用法：每次服用二钱（原文残缺，依常理补全语境，此处仅译原文可见部分“每服二”）。
防风汤：治疗风邪引起的头痛。
药材：防风（去叉）、柴胡（去苗）、黄连（去须）、当归（炙）、枳壳（去瓤麸炒）、大黄（锉熬）、天雄（半两）、石膏。
用法：用水一盏半，加入生姜半分，切碎，煎取八分药液，去渣温服。

消风散：治疗各种风邪上攻，头目昏痛，项背拘急，肢体烦疼，肌肉跳动，目眩头晕，耳中如蝉鸣，眼干涩嗜睡，鼻塞多喷嚏，皮肤顽麻瘙痒起瘾疹。又治疗妇女血风，颈部皮肤肿胀瘙痒，眉棱骨痛，眩晕欲倒。
药材：人参、羌活、川芎、白茯苓、白僵蚕（炒）、藿香叶、荆芥穗、防风、甘草（炒）、蝉蜕。
用法：一方用茶清调服。
人参顺气散：治疗感受风邪引起的头痛，鼻塞身重，以及一切中风症状，适宜服用。具有疏风顺气功效。
药材：干姜、人参（各一两）、川芎（去芦）、甘草（炙）、桔梗（去芦）、浓朴（制去粗皮）、白术。
用法：水一盏，生姜五片，煎服。一方加僵蚕以行滞气。
治伤风感风一切头痛方：
药材：甘菊（一两）、细辛（半两）、甘草（七钱半）、白芷（二两）、香附子（一两）、羌活（二两）。
用法：研为末，每次服用二钱。

川芎茶调散：治疗各种风邪上攻，头目昏重，偏正头痛，鼻塞声重，伤风壮热，肢体疼痛烦闷，肌肉跳动，膈间热痰盛，妇人血气攻注太阳穴疼痛。凡是感受风邪，都适宜服用。常服可清利头目。
药材：川芎、荆芥穗（各二两）、白芷、羌活、甘草（各一两）、防风（七钱半）、细辛（去土半两）、龙脑、薄荷、香附子（各四两）。
用法：研为细末，每次服用二钱，食后用茶清调服。一方无香附子，用葱涎调匀贴敷于两侧太阳穴。
生犀鸡苏丸：治疗风邪壅滞，头痛目眩。
药材：犀角屑（半两）、鸡苏叶、荆芥穗、天麻（各一两）、细辛（去苗叶半两）、独活（去芦头一两）。
用法：茶清嚼服。
芎散：治疗风邪头痛，有时伴有眩晕。

Feng Tou Tong (Wind-Induced Headache) is a condition caused by Wind pathogenic factors invading the Yang meridians, ascending along the Fengfu point (GV16) to the head and brain, resulting in heavy and painful head, irritability and heat in the chest and diaphragm, and stagnation of Qi in the Upper Jiao.
Tianma San (Gastrodia Powder): Treats pain in the head and neck, swelling and stiffness of the face, Wind damaging Ying and Wei, causing dryness and heat.
