The Heart is the root of life and the residence of the Shen (Spirit); therefore, it governs the five Zang organs. Diseases of foot weakness are mostly caused by Wind pathogen invasion, with Dampness being less common. Since Wind belongs to Yang,
Zhuli Tang (Carpinini Juice Decoction, from *Shenghui Fang*) treats Wind-toxin invading the interior of the five Zang organs, manifesting as shortness of breath, vexation and heat in the epigastrium, vexing pain in the hands and feet, inability to lift the four limbs, and insensitivity of the skin and flesh.
Herbs: Danggui Radix Angelicae Sinensis (2 liang), Fangfeng Radix Saposhnikoviae (3 liang), Shengjiang Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens (8 liang), Baizhuus Rhizoma Atractylodis Macrocephalae (3 liang), Renshen Radix Ginseng, Huangqin Cortex Scutellariae, Xiongchuang Rhizoma Chuanxiong, Xixin Herba Asari, Guixin Ramulus Cinnamomi (1 liang), Shengma Rhizoma Cimicifugae (2 liang).
