即紫河车
甘咸温无毒。取浓小色鲜者，挑去血络漂净血水，入椒一握，沸汤去
腥水，以蜂蜜和，长流水于旧锡器内，隔水文火煮烂如糜，绵绞去滓，代蜜糊丸药良。
发明 紫河车禀受精血结孕之余液，得母之气血居多，故能峻补营血。用以治骨蒸羸瘦
，喘嗽虚劳之疾，是补之以味也。自丹溪极言其功，而吴球创大造丸虽世所推重，然方中生
地、黄 、天冬、麦冬、龟版一派滋腻伤胃之品，虽有人参一味反助群阴之势，服之每致伤
中、呕泄，未见其可。惟《永类钤方》河车丸方用人胞一具、山药二两、人参一两、茯苓五
钱，酒糊为丸。近世改用鲜者，隔水煮，捣作丸，尤为得力，即虚人服之未尝伤犯胃气。
咸润微凉无毒。腊月取紫河车置有盖瓦罐内深埋土中，临用取出不可留久，久
即干矣。或与生甘草末同入罐中埋于土中，三五年后掘出即为药也。
发明 胞衣之性本热，而得土气之化，善能摄火归元。小儿丹毒诸热毒发，寒热不歇，
狂言妄语，头上无辜发竖，虚痞等证，天行热疾，咽痛及虚劳咽痛，饮之立效。反胃久病，
饮一钟当有虫出。
发明 脐带者，人之命带也，用以 末，入朱砂少许，蜜水调服，以解本婴之胎毒，与
内伤之用骨灰无异。
咸大温，小毒。
发明 胎元虽堕下，胎息淫火未离，天真未剖，较河车之性倍甚。古方鲜用，惟金刚丸
用之。虽以人补人，然兽相食且人恶之，况人食人，能无恻怛之念乎。
这就是紫河车。
味甘、咸，性温，无毒。选取浓厚、小巧、颜色鲜红的胎盘，挑去血络并漂洗干净血水，放入一把花椒，用沸水去除腥气，再用蜂蜜调和，在长流水中用旧锡器隔水文火煮烂成粥状，用细绵布绞汁去渣，用此药汁代替蜂蜜制作丸药，效果更佳。
【发明】紫河车禀受了受精血液结孕时的剩余精华，主要获取母亲的气血，因此能够峻补营血。用它来治疗骨蒸潮热、身体消瘦、气喘咳嗽及虚劳等疾病，这是通过“味”来进行补益的方法。自从朱丹溪极力推崇其功效后，吴球创制的“大造丸”虽然被世人所推重，但方中的生地黄、黄柏、天冬、麦冬、龟板等一派滋腻碍胃的药物，即使加入一味人参，反而助长了群阴之邪的势头，服用后往往导致损伤中焦、呕吐泄泻，未见其可取之处。唯有《永类钤方》中的河车丸方，用人胞一个、山药二两、人参一两、茯苓五钱，用酒糊制作丸药。近代改用新鲜的胎盘，隔水煮熟，捣碎制成丸药，尤为得力，即使是虚弱之人服用也不会伤害胃气。
味咸，性润微凉，无毒。腊月时取紫河车放入有盖的瓦罐内，深埋于土中，临用时取出，不可久留，久了就会变干。或者与生甘草末一同放入罐中埋于土中，三五年后掘出即为药材。
【发明】胞衣的性质本属热，但得到土气的转化，善于摄纳浮火回归本源。对于小儿丹毒等各种热毒发作，寒热交替不止，胡言乱语，头发无故竖起，虚痞等症状，以及流行性热病、咽喉痛和虚劳引起的咽喉痛，服用后立刻见效。对于反胃久病，饮用一钟（量词）会有虫体排出。
【发明】脐带是人的命带，将其研为粉末，加入少许朱砂，用蜜水调服，可以解除婴儿原本的胎毒，这与使用骨灰治疗内伤的效果没有区别。
味咸，性大温，有小毒。
【发明】胎元虽然已经堕下，但胎息中的淫火尚未离开，天真之气未受剖割，其性质比紫河车更为猛烈。古方中很少使用，只有金刚丸中使用。虽然是以人补人，但是野兽互相吞噬尚且令人厌恶，何况是人吃人，难道没有恻隐之心吗？
This is the Placenta Humana (Zi He Che).
Sweet, salty, warm, non-toxic. Select those that are thick, small, and fresh in color; remove the blood vessels and rinse away the bloody water thoroughly. Add a handful of Zanthoxylum Fructus (Huajiao, 花椒), boil with hot water to remove the fishy smell, then mix with Honey (Fengmi, 蜂蜜). Simmer gently over low heat in an old tin vessel using running long-flowing water until it becomes mushy like porridge. Strain through fine silk cloth to remove the dregs; use this decoction instead of honey to bind pills for better efficacy.
[Invention] The Placenta Humana inherits the residual essence of the fertilized blood and conception fluid, deriving most of its Qi and Blood from the mother; thus, it can vigorously tonify Ying Blood (Nutritive Blood). It is used to treat conditions such as bone-steaming fever, emaciation, wheezing cough, and deficiency-fatigue diseases. This constitutes tonification by flavor. Since Zhu Danxi extensively praised its merits, Wu Qiu created the Da Zao Wan (Great Creation Pill), which, although highly regarded by the world, contains ingredients such as Rehmanniae Radix Recens (Sheng Dihuang, 生地黄), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai, 黄柏), Asparagi Rhizoma (Tian Dong, 天冬), Ophiopogonis Radix (Mai Dong, 麦冬), and Testudinis et Carapacis et Plastrum (Guiban, 龟板)—a group of cloying and stomach-damaging herbs. Even with the addition of one ingredient, Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参), it merely aids the momentum of the Yin herbs. Ingestion often leads to damage of the Middle Jiao, vomiting, and diarrhea, showing little merit. Only the Hepche Wan (Placenta Pill) formula from *Yong Lei Qian Fang* uses one human placenta, Dioscoreae Rhizoma (Shanyao, 山药) two liang, Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma (Renshen, 人参) one liang, and Poria (Fuling, 茯苓) five qian, bound with wine paste into pills. In recent times, fresh placenta is used, steamed over water, pounded into pills, which is particularly effective and does not injure Stomach Qi even when taken by deficient individuals.
Salty, moistening, slightly cool, non-toxic. In the twelfth lunar month, take the Placenta Humana, place it in a lidded earthenware jar, and bury it deep in the soil. Take it out only when needed; do not keep it for long, or it will dry out. Alternatively, mix it with raw Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma powder (Sheng Gancao, 生甘草) in the jar and bury it in the soil. After three to five years, dig it up for medicinal use.
[Invention] The nature of the fetal membrane is originally hot, but through transformation by Earth Qi, it excels at grasping floating fire and returning it to its origin. It is effective for pediatric erysipelas and various heat-toxin eruptions, alternating chills and fever that do not cease, delirious speech, hair standing on end without cause, deficiency bloating, epidemic heat diseases, sore throat, and deficiency-fatigue sore throat. Drinking it brings immediate relief. For chronic regurgitation, drinking one cup may result in the expulsion of worms.
[Invention] The Umbilical Cord (Qidai, 脐带) is the life belt of a person. When powdered and mixed with a small amount of Cinnabar (Zhusha, 朱砂), taken with honey water, it resolves the infant's original fetal toxins. Its effect is no different from using bone ash to treat internal injuries.
Salty, greatly warm, slightly toxic.
[Invention] Although the Fetal Origin (Taiyuan, 胎元) has been expelled, the licentious fire of fetal respiration has not yet left, and the innate truth remains unbroken. Its nature is twice as potent as that of the Placenta Humana. Ancient formulas rarely use it; only the Jingang Wan (Vajra Pill) employs it. Although it is "using humans to supplement humans," if beasts eating each other are abhorrent, how much more so should humans eating humans evoke compassion?
