（青礞石）：味重，性泻，能坠痰。

（花蕊石）：又名花乳石。味涩，能止金疮出血，化瘀血。
味酸、涩，气平。专入肝经血分。能将瘀血化为水液，止住金疮出血。（刮下粉末外敷，伤口即刻愈合，且不再化脓。《局方》中治疗损伤各种出血、胎产恶露不尽及血晕的方剂有花乳石散。）能排出死胎及胞衣。（恶血化解，则胞胎无阻滞。）但会大损阴血。产于陕西华州等地。质地坚硬，颜色发黄。研成粉末后用水飞法处理。
（石燕）：性通利，利窍道，行湿热。
味甘、凉，利窍道，行湿热。治疗各种淋沥不尽之症，月经浑浊，赤白带下，肠风痔漏，眼目障翳。产于零陵。（宋代人修订本草时，将食用钟乳的禽类所产的“石燕”混收在此石燕之下，导致世俗误传此石能助阳，不知其功效正相反。）或煮汁服用，或磨汁服用，或研为粉末用水飞法处理。（婴儿吐乳，久患咳嗽，用蜂蜜调匀粉末，涂于嘴唇上，每日三到五次。）
( Qingmengshi / Calcitum ): Heavy in nature, purgative, capable of sinking phlegm.
Sweet and salty, toxic. Its weight is heavy and sinking. The green color enters the Liver channel. Prepared with Niter (Xiaoshi), it can soothe the Liver and direct Qi downward. It is a miraculous medicine for treating stubborn phlegm and masses. (Wang Yinjun stated in "Yangsheng Zhu Lun": When stubborn phlegm adheres to Qingmengshi, it transforms into water. The formula includes Mengshi Guntan Wan: Take 2 liang of Mengshi and 2 liang of Yanxiao (calcined Niter), grind them, and refine 1 liang using the water-flying method; take 8 liang of Da Huang (Rhubarb Rhizome) steamed, 8 liang of Huang Qin (Scutellaria Root) washed with wine, and 5 qian of Chenxiang (Aquilaria Wood), grind into fine powder, make water pills, and administer according to the patient's deficiency or excess. Li Shizhen said: Excessive Wind-Wood energy suppresses Spleen-Earth, causing Qi stagnation and failure to transform, leading to accumulation and phlegm production, which obstructs the Upper and Middle Jiao, generating various diseases. Mengshi is heavy and sinking, while Niter is dispersing and unblocking, allowing phlegm accumulations to be cleared, thus resolving all symptoms.) It is strictly contraindicated for those with weak Qi and deficient Blood. The texture is hard and fine, colored dark green-black, with white star-like spots. Mix equal parts of Niter and Mengshi, crush and blend evenly, place in a clay pot, and calcine until the Niter is completely consumed and the stone turns golden. Stones without gold stars are not used in medicine. Grind into powder and use the water-flying method to remove Niter toxicity.
(Huaruishi / Flower Milk Stone): Also known as Huarushi. Astringent, stops bleeding from metal wounds, resolves blood stasis.
Sour and astringent, neutral in nature. Specifically enters the Blood aspect of the Liver channel. It can resolve blood stasis into fluid and stop bleeding from metal wounds. (Scrape into powder and apply externally; the wound heals immediately without suppuration. The "Ju Fang" contains the formula Huarushi San for treating various hemorrhages from trauma, lochia retention after childbirth, and blood syncope.) It expels dead fetus and retained placenta. (When evil blood is resolved, the fetal sac faces no obstruction.) However, it severely damages Yin and Blood. It originates from Huazhou in Shaanxi and surrounding areas. The texture is hard, color yellow. Grind into powder and use the water-flying method.
(Shiyan / Stone Swallow): Permeable, opens orifices, moves damp-heat.
Sweet and cool, opens orifices, moves damp-heat. Treats various types of strangury with dribbling, turbid menstruation, red and white leukorrhea, intestinal wind and hemorrhoids, and visual obstructions. It originates from Lingling. (During the Song Dynasty revision of Bencao, the "Stone Swallow" produced by birds consuming Zhuru (Stalactite) was mixed into this entry for Shiyan, leading to the secular misconception that this stone aids Yang function, whereas its effect is actually opposite.) It can be decocted in water, ground in water, or ground into powder and refined using the water-flying method. (For infants spitting up milk or chronic cough, mix the powder with honey and apply to the lips, three to five times daily.)
