研末。先以绵拭净。再以药末吹患处。治耳流脓水。
【主治功效】
清热，燥湿，祛风，安五脏，强筋骨，润心肺，消除胃中潜伏的热邪。治疗风痹、恶痹，疗治痈疽、恶疮、疥癣瘙痒及头部溃疡。具有生肌、化脓、止痛、消毒的功效。松节、松叶、松根皮的功效大致相同。松花的主治功效为：润心肺，益气，止血，除脓。
【方剂一：四圣不老丹】
取明净松脂一斤，在无灰酒中，用砂锅和桑木柴火煮沸数次。用竹枝搅拌至稠厚，停止加热，倒入水中使其结成块状。再用酒煮九遍，直到松脂像玉一样温润，不苦不涩为止。研成粉末，取十二两松脂粉，加入白茯苓末、黄菊花末、去油取霜的柏子仁各半斤，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸药。空腹时用好酒送服七十二丸。能强健筋骨，填补精髓。
【方剂二：松梅丸】
松脂用水桑木柴火煮，拔炼三次；再用桑灰滴下的汁液煮，拉扯七次；接着用好酒煮两次，最后用水煮两次，直到颜色变白且不苦为止。每斤松脂加入十两九蒸地黄末、六两乌梅末，用蜂蜜制成梧桐子大小的丸药。每次服用七十丸，空腹时用盐汤送服。能壮阳补中，强健筋骨，滋润肌肤。
【方剂三：小金丝膏】
取白胶香（松脂）和二两沥青，乳香二钱，没药一两，黄蜡三钱。用香油三钱一同熬制，直到滴水不散开为止。倒入水中，反复拉扯千遍，收藏备用。每次使用时捏成饼状贴敷患处。治疗各种疮疖引起的肿痛。
【方剂四：松脂膏】
松脂和黄芩各七钱五分，黄连和苦参各一两，蛇床子二钱五分，大黄、枯白矾、胡粉（将水银与少许水混合研磨，以无星点为度）各五钱，水银一两五钱。研成粉末并混合均匀，用腊猪油调匀后外敷。治疗头部疮疡久治不愈。
【又一方】
松香八两，铜青二钱，蓖麻仁五钱，共同捣碎制成膏药摊贴。治疗各种肿毒。
【方剂五：松节酒】
松节二十斤，酒五斗，浸泡两个七日（十四天）。每次服用一合，每日服用五六次。治疗历节风痛。（或者煎煮松节和松叶取汁，配合曲米酿造后服用。）
【又一方】
取一块如枣大的油松节，切碎，加胡椒七粒，烧酒二三盏煮沸。趁热加入少量飞过（精制）的白矾，含漱三五口。治疗风热引起的牙痛，立即见效。
【方剂六：松花散】
松花一两五钱，生地、鹿角胶（炒黄）、薯蓣各一两，艾叶二钱五分，茜草根、白茯苓、紫菀、人参、百合、刺蓟、炙甘草各五钱。研成粉末，每次服用二钱，用米饮调下。治疗咳血久治不止。
【又一方】
松脂、马勃、木香、花胭脂各二钱五分，枯矾五钱。研成粉末。先用棉签擦拭干净患处，再将药末吹入患处。治疗耳部流脓水。
[Indications and Actions]
Clears heat, dries dampness, dispels wind, calms the five Zang organs (Five Zang Organs), strengthens sinews and bones, moistens the Heart and Lungs, eliminates latent heat in the Stomach. Treats Wind-Bi syndrome (painful obstruction due to wind), severe Bi syndrome, carbuncles and sores, malignant ulcers, scabies, itching, and head ulcers. Has the effects of generating flesh, resolving pus, relieving pain, and detoxifying. The effects of Pine Nodes (Songjie), Pine Leaves (Songye), and Pine Root Bark (Songgenpi) are roughly similar. The indications for Pine Flower (Songhua) include: moistening the Heart and Lungs, augmenting Qi, stopping bleeding, and resolving pus.
[Formula 1: Four Sages Anti-Aging Pill]
Take one jin (approx. 500g) of clear pine resin. Boil it several times in unfermented wine using a clay pot and mulberry wood fire. Stir with bamboo branches until thick. Stop heating and pour into water to form solid blocks. Boil again in wine nine times until the resin is jade-like, not bitter or astringent. Grind into powder. Take twelve liang (approx. 375g) of this powder, add half a jin each of Poria cocos powder (Baifuling), Chrysanthemum morifolium powder (Huangjuhua), and Platycladi Semen without oil (Baiziren), and make pills the size of wu-tzu seeds (approx. 6-9mm diameter) using honey. Take seventy-two pills on an empty stomach with good wine. It strengthens sinews and replenishes marrow.
[Formula 2: Pine and Plum Pill]
Boil pine resin over water-mulberry wood fire, refining it three times. Then boil in juice from mulberry ash, pulling and stretching it seven times. Next, boil twice in good wine, and finally twice in water, until the color is white and not bitter. For every jin of pine resin, add ten liang of Rhizoma Dioscoreae hypoglaucae powder (Jiuzheng Dihuang, processed nine times) and six liang of Prunus mume powder (Wumei). Make pills the size of wu-tzu seeds using honey. Take seventy pills per dose on an empty stomach with salted water decoction. It tonifies Yang and the Middle Jiao, strengthens sinews, and moistens skin.
[Formula 3: Little Golden Silk Ointment]
Take two liang of white rosin (Biaojiaoxiang, i.e., pine resin) and asphalt (Qinglixing), two qian of Frankincense (Ruxiang), one liang of Myrrh (Moyao), and three qian of yellow beeswax (Huangla). Simmer together with three qian of sesame oil until a drop does not disperse when put in water. Pour into water and pull/stretch a thousand times. Store for use. Mold into cakes and apply topically to treat swelling and pain from all kinds of boils and furuncles.
[Formula 4: Pine Resin Ointment]
Take seven qian fen each of Pine Resin (Songzhi) and Scutellaria baicalensis root (Huangqin), one liang each of Coptis chinensis rhizome (Huanglian) and Sophora flavescens root (Kushen), two qian fen of Cnidium monnieri fruit (Shechuangzi), five qian each of Rheum palmatum root (Dahuang), calcined alum (Kubaifan), lead carbonate (Hufen - prepared by grinding mercury with a little water until no stars remain), and one liang five qian of Mercury (Shuiyin). Grind into powder and mix evenly. Apply externally mixed with rendered lard (Lazhuyou). Treats chronic scalp sores that do not heal.
[Another Prescription]
Take eight liang of Rosin (Songxiang), two qian of Verdigris (Tongqing), and five qian of Castor Seed (Bimaren). Pound together to make a paste for application. Treats all kinds of swollen toxins.
[Formula 5: Pine Node Wine]
Soak twenty jin of Pine Nodes (Songjie) in five dou of wine for fourteen days (two periods of seven days). Take one he (approx. 20ml) per dose, five to six times daily. Treats Li-Jie Wind Pain (pain affecting joints throughout the body). (Alternatively, decoct Pine Nodes and Pine Leaves to extract juice, ferment with yeast and rice, and drink.)
[Another Prescription]
Take a piece of Oil Pine Node (Yousongjie) the size of a date, crush it, add seven grains of Piper longum fruit (Hujiao), and two to three zhan of distilled liquor (Baijiu). Boil. While hot, add a small amount of refined alum (Feiguo Baifan). Hold in the mouth and rinse for three to five swallows. Treats toothache caused by Wind-Heat, providing immediate relief.
[Formula 6: Pine Flower Powder]
Take one liang five qian of Pine Flower (Songhua), one liang each of Rehmannia glutinosa root (Shengdi), Colla Cornus (Lujiaojiao, stir-fried until yellow), and Dioscorea opposita rhizome (Shuyu), two qian fen of Artemisia argyi leaf (Aiye), and five qian each of Rubia cordifolia root (Qiancao Gen), Poria cocos (Baifuling), Aster tataricus root (Ziwan), Ginseng (Renshen), Lilium bulb (Baihe), Cirsium japonicum (Ciji), and Glycyrrhiza uralensis root roasted with honey (Zhigancao). Grind into powder. Take two qian per dose, mixed with rice water decoction. Treats persistent hemoptysis (coughing up blood).
[Another Prescription]
Take two qian fen each of Pine Resin (Songzhi), Pleurotus ecalyptratus spore (Mabo), Aucklandia root (Muxiang), and Rose flower (Huayanzhi), and five qian of Calcined Alum (Kufan). Grind into powder. First wipe the affected area clean with cotton, then insufflate the powder into the lesion. Treats otorrhea (pus flowing from the ear).
