出云南。以鸡血藤熬成之胶也。取少许入滚汤中。有一线如鸡血走散者真。 主治益气。
助血。祛风冷。壮筋骨。治老人手足麻痹瘫痪。男子虚损胃病。妇女经水不调。及干血劳。
子宫虚冷。不孕等症。
产广东。黄藤熬汁即成。 主治。止血。杀虫。化毒。敛金疮。疗刀斧木石及汤火诸伤。
中藤黄毒者食海蜇即解。 一笔消。大黄二两。藤黄一两。明矾蟾酥各五钱。麝香乳香没药
各二钱。研末。用蜗牛捣和作锭。遇小疖毒未出头。醋磨浓敷四围。数次即愈。又一方。藤
黄雄黄胆矾硼砂铜绿皮硝草乌各一两。麝香二钱。研末。和蟾酥为条。笔管大。遇一切痈肿。
醋浓磨涂调四围。数次即愈凡一切无名肿毒。及对口发背初起无上药时。亦可用滴花烧酒藤
黄敷。须不住手。半日即消。 又方。白芨白蔹三七五倍子皂角山慈菇藤黄各等分除藤黄外。
锉薄片入砂锅内浸一日。煎汁倾出。入水再煎数次。滤净熬膏。将藤黄用水蒸化加入搅匀。
再熬入碗晒干。用时鸡蛋清磨浓汁调涂。此药可以移毒。毒生肢节穴道险要处。恐成漏症废
人者。用此药涂半圈。即能移过一边。或专用藤黄银朱等分和醋敷。亦可赶毒至他处若用
树汁调。可治一切顽癣。无回丹。藤黄雄黄大黄碱各一两。蟾酥麝香各二钱。血竭甲片（炒）
各五钱。醋磨。涂治一切疔痈脑疽。 黄提药藤黄雄黄郁金各二钱。牛黄蟾酥 砂冰麝各五
分。巴豆肉八钱。蓖麻肉一两。共捣烂瓷瓶贮。遇用放膏药上贴之。治一切恶毒。未成可消。
已成化腐。疔肿尤妙。 五黄散藤黄雄黄姜黄硫黄鸡脚大黄各等分。研末。菜油调涂患处。
七日勿洗。痊愈。治一切顽癣。
产于云南。是用鸡血藤熬制而成的胶。取少量放入滚开的水中，若有一缕如鸡血般散开的即为真品。主治益气、助血、祛风冷、壮筋骨。治疗老人手足麻痹瘫痪、男子虚损胃病、妇女月经不调及干血劳、子宫虚冷不孕等症。
产于广东。是黄藤熬汁即成。主治止血、杀虫、化毒、收敛金疮（金属利器造成的伤口）、治疗刀斧木石以及汤火等各种外伤。服用藤黄中毒者，吃海蜇即可解毒。
【一笔消方】大黄二两，藤黄一两，明矾、蟾酥各五钱，麝香、乳香、没药各二钱。研成细末，用蜗牛捣烂调和做成锭剂。遇到小疖毒尚未出头的情况，用醋磨浓后敷在四周，数次即可痊愈。
又一方：藤黄、雄黄、胆矾、硼砂、铜绿、皮硝、草乌各一两，麝香二钱。研成细末，与蟾酥混合做成条状（粗细如笔管）。遇到一切痈肿，用醋浓磨后涂抹调匀于四周，数次即可痊愈。凡是一切无名肿毒，以及对口发背初起且无其他药物时，也可以用滴花烧酒调合藤黄外敷，需要不停地操作，半天即可消散。
又一方：白芨、白蔹、三七、五倍子、皂角、山慈菇、藤黄各等分。除藤黄外，将其他药材锉成薄片放入砂锅内浸泡一天，煎汁倒出，加水再煎数次，过滤干净后熬成膏。将藤黄用水蒸化后加入搅匀，再熬制装入碗中晒干。使用时用鸡蛋清磨成浓汁调和涂抹。此药可以移毒。如果毒生在肢节穴道等险要处，恐怕形成漏症导致人废掉，用此药涂半圈，就能将毒移到另一边。或者专用藤黄、银朱等份和醋外敷，也可以将毒赶到别处。如果用树汁调和，可治疗一切顽癣，但不可用于回丹。
【藤黄雄黄大黄碱方】藤黄、雄黄、大黄、碱各一两，蟾酥、麝香各二钱，血竭、甲片（炒）各五钱。用醋磨碎，涂抹治疗一切疔痈脑疽。
【黄提药方】藤黄、雄黄、郁金各二钱，牛黄、蟾酥、砂冰、麝各五分，巴豆肉八钱，蓖麻肉一两。共同捣烂，贮存在瓷瓶中。用时放在膏药上贴敷。治疗一切恶毒，未形成的可消散，已形成的可化腐，治疗疔肿尤其奇妙。
【五黄散方】藤黄、雄黄、姜黄、硫黄、鸡脚大黄各等分。研成细末，用菜油调和涂抹患处，七日不要清洗，即可痊愈。治疗一切顽癣。
Produced in Yunnan. It is a gum made by boiling *Spatholobus suberectus* (Jixueteng, 鸡血藤). Take a small amount and put it into boiling water; if a thread-like stream disperses like chicken blood, it is genuine. Indications: Tonify qi, assist blood, dispel wind-cold, strengthen sinews and bones. Treats elderly people with numbness, paralysis of hands and feet, men with deficiency damage and stomach disease, women with irregular menstruation, dry blood consumption (Ganxue Lao, 干血劳), uterine deficiency cold, infertility, etc.
Produced in Guangdong. It is formed by boiling the juice of *Arcangelisia flava* (Hengteng, 黄藤). Indications: Stop bleeding, kill parasites, resolve toxicity, consolidate metal wounds (injuries caused by metal weapons), treat injuries from knives, axes, wood, stone, as well as burns from scalding water and fire. Those poisoned by *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄) can be cured by eating jellyfish.
[Formula: One-Stroke Dissolver] Rhubarb (*Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*, 大黄) 2 liang, *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄) 1 liang, Alum (*Alumen*, 明矾) and Toad Venom (*Bufo Glandula Venenum*, 蟾酥) each 5 qian, Musk (*Moschus*, 麝香), Frankincense (*Olibanum*, 乳香), and Myrrh (*Myrrha*, 没药) each 2 qian. Grind into powder, mix with crushed snails to make pills. For small boils that have not yet come to a head, grind thickly with vinegar and apply around the periphery; it will heal after several applications.
Another formula: *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄), Realgar (*Realgar*, 雄黄), Chalcanthite (*Chalcanthitum*, 胆矾), Borax (*Borax*, 硼砂), Verdigris (*Cupri Acetas*, 铜绿), Saltpeter (*Natrii Sulfas*, 皮硝), Aconite Root (*Aconiti Lateralis Radix Praeparata*, 草乌) each 1 liang, Musk (*Moschus*, 麝香) 2 qian. Grind into powder, mix with Toad Venom (*Bufo Glandula Venenum*, 蟾酥) to form strips (size of a brush tube). For all kinds of carbuncles and swellings, grind thickly with vinegar and apply around the periphery; it will heal after several applications. For all kinds of nameless swellings and toxins, or for early-stage "duikou" (carbuncle at the back of the neck) and "fabei" (back carbuncle) when no other medicine is available, one can also use distilled liquor mixed with *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄) for external application. Continuous handling is required, and it will dissipate within half a day.
Another formula: Bletilla Tuber (*Bletillae Rhizoma*, 白芨), Peony Root (*Paeoniae Radix Rubra*, 白蔹), Notoginseng Root (*Notoginseng Radix et Rhizoma*, 三七), Chinese Gall (*Chinese Gall*, 五倍子), Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit (*Gleditsiae Sinensis Fructus*, 皂角), Fritillaria Cirrhosa Bulb (*Fritillariae Thunbergii Bulbus*, 山慈菇), and *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄) in equal parts. Except for *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄), slice the other herbs thinly and soak them in a clay pot for one day. Decoct the liquid, discard, add water and decoct again several times. Filter cleanly and boil down into an ointment. Melt *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄) with steam, add to the ointment, stir evenly, boil again, pour into bowls, and dry. When using, grind thickly with egg white and apply. This medicine can relocate toxicity. If toxicity arises in dangerous areas such as joints or acupoints, fearing it may become a fistula and disable the person, apply this medicine to half a circle around the area to relocate the toxicity to the other side. Alternatively, use *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄) and Cinnabar (*Cinnabaris*, 银朱) in equal parts mixed with vinegar for external application to drive the toxicity elsewhere. If mixed with tree sap, it can treat all kinds of stubborn tinea, but must not be used for "Huidan" (recurrent erysipelas).
[Formula: Tenghuang, Xionghuang, Dahuang, Jian] *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄), Realgar (*Realgar*, 雄黄), Rhubarb (*Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*, 大黄), Alkali (*Jian*) each 1 liang, Toad Venom (*Bufo Glandula Venenum*, 蟾酥), Musk (*Moschus*, 麝香) each 2 qian, Dragon's Blood (*Sanguis Draconis*, 血竭), Tortoise Plastron (*Testudinis Carapax et Plastrum* fried) each 5 qian. Grind with vinegar and apply to treat all kinds of carbuncles, furuncles, and brain abscesses.
[Formula: Huang Ti Yao] *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄), Realgar (*Realgar*, 雄黄), Turmeric (*Curcumae Longae Rhizoma*, 郁金) each 2 qian, Calculus Bovis (*Calculus Bovis*, 牛黄), Toad Venom (*Bufo Glandula Venenum*, 蟾酥), Borneol (*Borneolum Syntheticum*, 冰), Musk (*Moschus*, 麝香) each 5 fen, Croton Seed Kernel (*Crotonis Semen*, 巴豆肉) 8 qian, Castor Seed (*Ricini Semen*, 蓖麻肉) 1 liang. Pound together until pasty, store in a porcelain bottle. When using, place on a plaster and apply. Treats all kinds of malignant toxins; those not yet formed can be dissipated, those already formed can be resolved into pus. Especially effective for carbuncles and furuncles.
[Formula: Wu Huang San] *Xanthochymus pyrifolius* (Tenghuang, 藤黄), Realgar (*Realgar*, 雄黄), Curcuma Longa (*Curcumae Longae Rhizoma*, 姜黄), Sulfur (*Sulfur*, 硫黄), Chicken-foot Rhubarb (*Rhei Radix et Rhizoma*), each in equal parts. Grind into powder, mix with vegetable oil and apply to the affected area. Do not wash for seven days; it will heal. Treats all kinds of stubborn tinea.
