【肿疡期】

〔谷菜〕黑大豆：生研。豌豆：主治一切痈肿初起。绿豆粉：一切痈疽初起，伴有恶心症状，同乳香、甘草服用，以保护心脏。胡麻油：治疗大毒发背，用一斤胡麻油煎沸，加入二碗醋，分五次服用，防止毒邪内攻；或加入葱煎至黑色，热涂，可自行消退。翻白草：擂碎酒后服用。茄子：用硝石收成膏，酒服，治疗发背恶疮；磨醋涂敷肿毒；生用合治热毒。豆豉：做成饼进行灸疗。大蒜：灸治一切肿毒阴毒。醋调涂敷。赤小豆：同鸡蛋清，涂敷各种痈疽。粢米粉：炒黑，用鸡蛋清涂敷。麦粉：治疗各种痈疽发背热痛，炒黑，醋调贴敷，疼痛立即停止，久则肿胀消退。荞麦粉：治疗痈疽发背，同硫黄末敷贴；疽头凹陷发黑，煮食即可起发。山药：生涂，或同蓖麻、糯米一起使用。蔓荆：同盐涂敷，或同芸苔一起使用。紫芥子：同柏叶涂敷，无不治愈者。麦面、米醋、冬瓜、干姜（醋调）、生姜（猪胆调）、白芥子（醋调）、莱菔子（醋研）、马齿苋、秦狄藜（醋杵）、旱堇、皂角蕈（醋磨）、桑黄。

[Herbal Category] Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma (Licorice Root): Promotes the circulation of turbid blood, eliminates the five types of back abscesses, reduces swelling, and guides out toxins. For all cases of back carbuncles and deep abscesses, grind into powder, mix with Hordei Fructus Germinatus (Barley flour), apply hot compress with warm water; if pus has not formed, it can be resolved internally; if pus has formed, it will ulcerate. Alternatively, take one liang of lightly roasted Licorice Root, soak in water overnight, and ingest; or quench in wine made with Black Lead (Nigrum Plumbum); or extract juice and boil into a paste; for scrotal abscesses, decoct with water and ingest, resolving within twenty days.
