According to the *Zhu Bing Yuan Hou Lun* (Treatise on the Pathogenesis and Symptoms of All Diseases), this condition arises when the skin and pores are deficient, allowing wind-dampness pathogens to invade due to the deficiency. These pathogens contend with the blood and qi, and when combined with heat, sores are generated.
The *Fang Wang Fang* provides a prescription for treating sores at the tip of the breast that discharge pus and cause pain:
Deer Horn (2 fen, calcined) Licorice Root (1 fen)
Grind and mix the herbs, combine with egg yolk, place in warm ashes until warm, and apply twice daily.
The *Yi Men Fang* offers a prescription for cracked nipples:
Crush Clove Bud and apply it; healing occurs immediately. (Note: The *Cui Shilang Fang* is identical.)
The *Seng Shen Fang* suggests burning Chinese Chive Root, applying the ash to the sore, which is effective.
The *Ji Yan Fang* describes a condition where women develop small, superficial heat-sores on their nipples. Scratching causes yellow fluid to exude, leading to spreading lesions. If various treatments fail over months or years, it is termed "Breast Disease."
It is advisable to wash the area with Chi Long Pi Tang (Red Dragon Skin Decoction) and Tian Ma Cao Tang (Gastrodia Herb Decoction). Then apply Er Wu Fei Wu Gao (Two-Ingredient Flying Bird Ointment) and Fei Wu San (Flying Bird Powder).
Fei Wu Gao Prescription:
Obtain mercury powder from the black smoke produced by calcinating Cinnabar (3 liang) Alum (3 liang, roasted until charred)
Sieve both substances, mix with Jia Jian (nail lacquer preparation) to form a paste-like consistency, and apply to breast sores three times daily. If prepared as a powder, mixing is unnecessary; it can be used if there is exudate that adheres naturally.
It is also effective for various heat sores, weeping eczema, spreading itchy sores with exudate, male genital erosion with itching and dampness, infant head sores, otitis externa associated with moon-eating disease, perioral impetigo, and scabies-like sores.
Furthermore, it states: For early-stage onset, applying Huang Lian Hu Fen San (Coptis and Lead White Powder) is preferable.
Huang Lian Hu Fen Gao/San Prescription:
Coptis Rhizome (2 liang) Lead White (10 fen) Mercury (2 liang)
Process all three ingredients: grind Coptis finely until dissolved, then combine with the other two substances. Wrap in skin and cook熟 (heat thoroughly); they will naturally amalgamate. Even if not prepared together initially, fine mercury will disperse into the powder by morning. Apply to breast sores and various damp-itchy sores. If mixed with Jia Jian, it becomes an ointment.
According to the *Zhu Bing Yuan Hou Lun*, vaginal itching in women is caused by parasites feeding on the tissue. As these parasites move weakly, they cause itching; if severe, pain ensues.
The *Ge Shi Fang* provides a prescription for women suffering from intense vaginal itching requiring scratching:
Burn Wormwood Herb, stems, and thorns to ash, and insert into the vagina.
The *Meng Shen Shi Jing* offers a prescription for vaginal itching:
Crush fresh Peach Leaf, wrap in cotton, and insert into the vagina, changing 3-4 times daily. Alternatively, boil the juice for washing. Note: Washing with boiled Peach Bark is effective.
The *Lu Yan Fang* provides a prescription for vaginal itching:
Cut 1 jin of Goji Root, boil in 3 sheng of water. Wash with the liquid at a comfortable temperature for immediate relief.
The *Seng Shen Fang* offers a prescription for vaginal itching:
Coptis Rhizome and Phellodendron Bark, each 2 liang. Boil in 3 sheng of water to reduce to 1.5 sheng. Wash warmly three times daily.
The *Ji Yao Fang* provides a prescription for internal and external vulvar itching and pain:
Rhubarb Root (3 liang) Licorice Root (2 liang)
Boil in 3 sheng of water to obtain 2 sheng. Soak and wash three times daily.
The *Ji Yan Fang* offers a prescription for vaginal itching resembling insect crawling:
Alum (3 fen, roasted) Ligusticum Rhizome (4 fen) Real Cinnabar (a small amount)
Sieve the three ingredients, wrap in cotton, and insert into the vagina; the parasites will die naturally.
