小儿中风口噤，是由于风邪侵入颌颊部位的筋脉所致。手足三阳经的筋脉，汇聚结于下颌和面颊；足阳明经的筋脉，上行至口部。
治疗小儿中风，突然口噤不能张开，神志昏沉，迷迷糊糊如同醉酒状态，使用防风散方。

将上述药物捣碎并粗筛成散剂。每次服用一钱，用水一小盏，煎煮至五分水量，滤去药渣，加入竹沥半合，再煮沸一两滚即可。
治疗小儿中风，口噤，四肢拘挛紧急，使用桂枝散方。

干蝎（一枚，尾部完整的微炒） 瓜蒂（七枚） 赤小豆（三七粒）
将上述药物捣碎并细筛成散剂。每次服用时，用米汤调服半钱。服药后以呕吐为见效标志。根据患儿年龄大小，调整剂量服用。

雄雀粪（半两，微炒）
将上述药物细研，用面糊调和制成丸剂，如麻子大小。不拘时候，用薄荷汤送服三丸。根据患儿年龄大小，酌情加减。

Pediatric wind-stroke with lockjaw (Jin Kou Jing, jaw stiffness and inability to open the mouth) is caused by wind pathogen invading the tendons of the mandible and cheek. The tendons of the three Yang meridians of the hand and foot converge and knot at the mandible and cheek; the tendon of the Foot-Yangming Meridian ascends to the mouth.
For pediatric wind-stroke presenting with sudden lockjaw, inability to open the mouth, lethargy, and a state resembling drunkenness, use Fangfeng San (Saposhnikovia Powder).
Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae, removed rhizome base) Chuan Shengma (Rhizoma Cimicifugae) Lingyangjiao Xie (Horn of Antelope Saiga, shavings) Qianghuo (Rhizoma Notopterygii) Shigao (Gypsum Fibrosum, each half liang)
Crush the above ingredients into a coarse powder. Take one qian per dose. Add one small cup of water, decoct until reduced to five fen volume, strain the dregs, add Ban Zhuli (Nodus Bambusae in Succus, half he), and boil for one or two more boils.
For pediatric wind-stroke presenting with lockjaw and spasticity of the four limbs, use Guizhi San (Cinnamon Twig Powder).

Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder. Administer half a qian mixed with warm wine infused with Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) at any time. Adjust the dosage according to the child's age and condition.
For pediatric wind-stroke presenting with lockjaw, rigidity of the waist and back, and convulsions, use Xijiao San (Rhinoceros Horn Powder).
Xijiao Xie (Horn of Rhinoceros, shavings) Duhuo (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis) Mahuang (Herba Ephedrae, removed root joints) Baifuzi (Rhizoma Typhonii, processed until cracked) Ganxie (Scorpio, lightly stir-fried) Niuhuang (Calculus Bovis, finely ground) Tianma (Rhizoma Gastrodiae, each one fen)
Grind the above ingredients into a fine powder, mix with the pre-ground ingredients, and ensure uniformity. Administer half a qian mixed with wine infused with Bohe (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba) at any time. Cover the patient to induce sweating; symptoms will resolve immediately.
For pediatric wind-stroke with lockjaw, loss of consciousness, and critical condition, this miraculous formula is suitable.
