上件 咀。每用二钱，水半盏煎数沸，去滓漱之。

上用新绵少许，蘸药粟米大，塞痛处。

上每用半钱，生姜汁调擦患处，良久温盐汤盥漱。

上各等分为细末。左边牙疼，口含水搐左鼻；右边牙疼，搐右鼻。如擦牙亦得。

上件为细末，研匀。每用一字，先含温水一口，次用药于两鼻内搐之，涎出痛止为效。

上件为细末。用纸捻子蘸醋点药少许，于火上炙干，塞两耳内，闭口少时立效。

疼，放药在左耳内；右边牙疼，放药在右耳内。良久痛止，一丸药可数治。

肥赤马肉三斤或五斤，每肉一斤入 砂二两，同拌和以器物盛之，于有日处顿放，候作
成蛆
虚，次用灯心蘸药少许，点于牙根下，良久其牙自动落。

肥赤马肉三斤或五斤，每斤肉加入砂二两，混合后用容器盛装，放置在阳光下曝晒，等待生成蛆虫。待蛆虫成熟后，用灯心草蘸取少许药液，点在牙根下方，过一段时间后牙齿会自动脱落。

Rhizoma et Rhizoma of Vespa (Lufengfang) and Vine of Aristolochia Manshuriensis (Tianxianteng) in equal parts.
Grind the above ingredients into coarse powder. For each use, take two qian, add half a zhan of water, boil several times, strain to remove dregs, and use the liquid to rinse the mouth.

Toad venom (Chansu), dissolved with a small amount of hot water.
Take a small piece of new cotton wool, dip it in the medicine to the size of a millet seed, and insert it into the painful area.

Prepared Aconiti Lateralis Radix (Fuzi) (one piece, raw, skin and umbilicus removed, ground into fine powder).

Asarum Root (Xixin, cleaned of soil and leaves), Galangal Rhizome (Liangjiang), Angelica Dahurica Root (Xiangbaizhi), and Long Pepper Fruit (Bibo).
Grind the above ingredients in equal parts into fine powder. For left-sided toothache, hold water in the mouth and insufflate into the left nostril; for right-sided toothache, insufflate into the right nostril. Applying to the teeth is also acceptable.
Treatment for wind-worm toothache.
Bark of Myrsine Seguinii Root (Yangmeigenpi) (one liang of thick bark, outer rough bark removed), Ligusticum Chuanxiong Rhizome (Chuanxiong) (three qian), Moschus (Shexiang) (a small amount, separately ground).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder and mix evenly. For each use, take one zi amount of powder, first hold a mouthful of warm water, then insufflate the medicine into both nostrils. The effect is achieved when saliva flows out and pain stops.
Treatment for toothache.
Head of Scolopendra (Wugongtou), Tail spine of Scorpion (Xieshao, toxicity removed), Tip of Aconitum Kusnezoffii Root (Caowutoujian, size of wheat grain), Base of Aconitum Carmichaelii Root (Chuanwutoudi, thin as a coin. Four ingredients above, seven pieces each), Piper Longum Fruit (Hujiao).
Grind the above ingredients into fine powder. Dip a paper twist in vinegar and a small amount of medicine, dry it over fire, and insert into both ears. Keep the mouth closed for a short while for immediate relief.
Treatment for toothache.
Garlic Bulb (Dasuan) (one bulb), Asarum Root (Xixin, leaves and soil removed, two qian), Gleditsia Sinensis Fruit (Zhuyazaojiao) (four qian), Natrii Sulfas (Penxiao, two qian, separately ground), Realgar (Xionghuang) (one qian, separately ground).
Grind the above ingredients together with garlic and pound into a paste, roll into pills the size of sophora seeds. For each use, take one pill, wrap it in thin new cotton. For left-sided toothache, place the medicine in the left ear; for right-sided toothache, place it in the right ear. After some time, the pain will stop. One pill can be used multiple times.
Extraction of carious teeth.
Three or five jin of fat red horse meat. For every jin of meat, add two liang of sand. Mix well and store in a vessel. Place in a sunny spot until maggots are formed. Once the maggots mature, dip a rush pith in a small amount of the medicine and apply it under the root of the tooth. After some time, the tooth will automatically fall out.
