Danggui Baizhu Tang (Angelica Sinensis and Atractylodes Macrocephala Decoction): Treats jaundice caused by alcohol consumption (Jiu Dan), characterized by yellowing of the skin, phlegm-fluid retention accumulating in the chest and epigastrium causing hardness and fullness, heaviness in bones and muscles, impaired appetite due to nausea, and dark yellow urine. This condition arises from internal deficiency combined with cold and raw dietary habits leading to spleen-stomach phlegm condensation; the pulse is wiry and choppy.
Ingredients: Baizhu (Atractylodis Macrocephalae Rhizoma), Fuling (Poria), Danggui (Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Huangqin (Scutellariae Radix), Yichen (Artemisiae Scopariae Herba) (each 1 liang); Qianhu (Peucedani Radix), Zhishi (Aurantii Fructus Immaturus, stir-fried), Gancao (Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma, honey-fried), Xingren (Pruni Armeniaci Semen, stir-fried) (each 2 liang); Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma) (1.5 liang).
