Method for Preparing Oiled Paper Take 49 segments of Huai branch (Sophora japonica twig), each one cun long, and 4 liang of Sesame Oil. Boil until the branches are withered and remove them. Add 4 liang of Beeswax and melt. While hot, cut thick cotton paper to 4-5 cun in length and width, or dip thick kraft paper in the oil, remove, and let cool to dissipate heat before use.
After receiving corporal punishment with a stick, use a brush handle to apply the aforementioned powder to the wound site, paste the prepared oiled paper over it, cover with ordinary oiled paper, and wrap securely with new cloth. Change the medicated paper once a day. Use only 5-6 fen of medicine per application. Healing occurs within a few days. If the stick wound has been exposed to water, healing will take longer. Mix 1 sheng of Bai Duanshi (White Calcined Alum) with two bowls of water.
