又搅均匀，连钵头放在潮湿地上，顿多日出火毒，任摊贴。
发背膏（杨廷升）
乳香（去油） 杭粉 血竭（鲜红者） 白儿茶 没药（去油） 黄丹（炒一次淘一次，九回）
银朱（各四两） 铜绿（三钱）
逐味另研，无声为度，再合一处。用时照证大小取夹油连四纸一块，以银针多
戳小眼，每张准称药末五钱，真麻油调摊纸上，再用油纸一块盖之，周遭用线缝好，
贴患处，软绢扎紧，过三日将膏揭开，浓煎葱汤洗净，软绢揩干，将膏翻过，用银
针照前多戳小孔贴之。无火之人，内服十全大补汤，有火之人，减去肉桂、姜、枣
服之，兼以饮食滋补，至重者用二张。
发背对口膏（杨廷升五全膏） 初起自消，已成即溃。
番木鳖（水浸，刮去毛） 土木鳖（去壳） 萆麻仁（去壳，各一两四钱）
用清油一斤浸，春三日，夏五日，秋七日，冬十日，文武火熬焦色滤清，复入
锅内，熬至滴水成珠，用密陀僧，龙牙有金星起者，六两，研细。取膏再加金箔四
十九张，剔入膏内，用柳枝搅匀，稍待用瓷器置水，将膏倾入水内，如用时，盛杓
内化开摊贴，愈陈愈炒。
鲫鱼膏（吴近宸） 贴一切无名肿毒，未成即散，已成拔毒提脓，并治脓窠疮疖。
大蛤蟆 活乌背鲫鱼（各七个） 萆麻仁（十二两）
麻油二斤，同蛤蟆、鲫鱼、萆麻子文武火熬枯，滤去渣，熬至滴水成珠，离火，
入真轻粉四两，铅粉十二两，收藏，临用取膏摊贴。
鲫鱼膏 贴痈毒疮疖。
大鲫鱼（一尾） 巴豆（四两） 萆麻仁（六两） 甘草（五钱）
用菜油麻油各一斤，先将鲫鱼炸枯去渣，再入巴豆、萆麻、甘草熬枯滤净，熬
滚离火，将铅粉徐徐投下，搅匀成膏，摊贴。
碧玉膏 贴痈疽发背，瘰 马刀，乳痈乳岩，流火流注，肿块风毒，横 痔漏，
囊痈，冬瓜痈，贴骨疽，一切腰背臀腿毒疖，多骨疽， 拱头，脚隐漏蹄等证。
萆麻仁（去皮、尖，捣烂） 杏仁（去皮，捣烂，各四十九粒） 铜绿（二两七钱，用水一碗，将铜绿
研细，投入水中，搅匀） 片松香（五斤，研细，节过听用）
用真麻油十二两，入锅内熬滚，次下萆麻、杏仁，熬至滴水成珠为度，夏布滤
去渣，将油复入净锅内，用文武火熬滚，徐徐投下松香末，用桃槐枝不住手搅匀，倾
入磁盆内，候膏将凝，然后加水浸之，用手揉扯以去火毒，另用瓷罐或铜杓盛贮数
月后，用热汤炖化，摊贴。此膏活血止痛，拔毒消肿，敛毒透脓，去腐生新。
紫金膏 贴一切无名肿毒，恶疮，兼治风湿流火，小儿痘毒，宜端午、七夕、重
阳、天医、天德、月德日配合。
明松香（四两，夏用红者，冬用白者，秋冬红白各半，以火熬滚，入水内扯拔百十下，研末，若贴痘毒，
松香用黄豆浸水入锅内煮化，待温照上扯拔，研细末，四两） 萆麻仁（二两，研细，放细筛罗底上，用穿山甲往
来刮之，取罗下者用之，上面粗者去之） 轻粉（五钱） 银朱 铜绿（各二钱五分）
制毕用猪油去衣膜拌药放青石上，用
铁锤捣数千下，盛瓷瓶内，用时摊油纸上贴。凡贴毒，将膏中剪一孔，露顶透气，能
贴多年痘毒，若贴流火，竟贴顶上，不必剪孔。
极效膏
川乌 草乌 元参 大黄 生地 杏仁 当归 赤芍 金银花 白芷（各一两一钱）
麻油一斤四两，浸药慢火熬，加∶桃仁、柳枝、槐枝、桑枝、榆枝（各十寸），熬
枯去渣，复熬至滴水成珠为度。再加银朱一两，铜绿八钱，水粉四两，入油搅匀，熬
黑，再加∶黄蜡、白蜡（各一两，）化匀，再加松香收膏，老嫩得宜，入水扯拔出火毒，任摊贴。
商陆膏 贴疮毒。
商陆（六两） 牛蒡子 防风 金银花 荆芥 当归尾 连翘 赤芍药 红花 茅
苍术 甘草（各五钱）
麻油二斤，熬枯去渣，用密陀僧一斤，收成膏用。
红玉膏（《济生》） 贴痈疽、瘰 、乳痈等证。
乳香（另研） 没药（另研，各二两） 萆麻仁（四百粒） 木鳖子（去壳，二两四钱） 当归
（四两） 血余（五钱） 儿茶 血竭 白蜡 黄蜡（各一钱） 嫩杨枝（一两，打碎） 黄丹（飞，

先将麻油同杨柳枝、血余、当归熬数滚，绞去渣，将油同芸香、萆麻、木鳖熬
熟，绞去渣，入黄白蜡，将成膏，入黄丹离火，下乳、没、儿、竭末，搅匀成膏。
育红膏 肿毒疮疖。
老松香（四钱） 潮脑（一钱） 轻粉（八分） 银朱（七分） 铜绿 冰片（各一分五厘） 麝香

研细。重汤炖化，忌见火，任摊贴。
肿毒疮疖膏
当归 金银花 防风 木鳖子 元参 生甘草 白芨 石菖蒲 连翘 生大黄 白芷 生地黄（各四钱）
麻油一斤四两，同入净锅内熬枯，滤去渣，复入净锅，熬至滴水成珠为度，入
飞过炒黄丹八两，收成膏离火，入白蜡黄蜡各二钱化尽，再入∶乳香去油、没药去
油、轻粉各二钱，研细末，和入。任摊贴。
救苦膏 贴痈疽初起即消，已成即溃，已溃即敛，实有消肿定痛之效，须择
吉期，虔诚修合。
生姜 大蒜头 槐枝（向阳者，各一斤） 葱白（半斤） 花椒（去目，二两） 黄丹（水飞净，二斤）
麻油四斤，文武火熬枯，滤去渣，再热，以桃、柳枝不住手搅，至滴水成珠，再
下飞丹搅匀，候冷取起，摊贴。
红膏药 贴左瘫右痪，筋骨疼痛，漏肩风，跌打损伤。
松香（五斤，童便内浸三个月，取出晒干，如不能三个月，可将松香熔化，倾入童便内，取出，又熔化倾
童便内，如此九次，再换水煮过用之。）
第一次用葱十斤，取汁三碗，入锅内，将松香化开，入麻油四两搅匀，倾入水盆内以手扯拔取起。
第二次用生姜十斤，取汁三碗，入锅内，将松香化开入麻油二两搅匀，倾入水盆内，以手扯拔取起。
第三次用绿豆一升，煮汁三碗，入锅内，将松香化开，入麻油二两搅匀，倾入水盆内，以手扯拔取起。
第四次用火酒一斤，入锅内，将松香化开，入麻油二两搅匀，倾入水盆内，以手扯拔取起。
第五次用好醋一斤，入锅内，将松香化开，入麻油二两搅匀，倾入水盆内，以手扯拔取起。
第六次用苍术、闹羊花、川乌、草乌、光乌、天南星、半夏各二两，水二十碗，煎
汁五六碗，入锅内，将松香化开，入麻油四两搅匀，倾入水盆内，以手扯拔取起。
第七次复将松香入净锅内熔化，候各汁收干为度。
然后下自 矾红细末四两，搅匀成膏，
入钵封固摊贴。
千槌膏 贴痈疽疔毒，初起即消，如治瘰 ，连根拔出，小儿鳝拱头、 疮，久不收口。

铜绿（各一钱）
共入石臼内捣二千余下即成膏矣。取起浸清水中，用时随疮大小，用手捻成薄片，贴疮上，以绢盖之。
紫金膏 贴寒湿气、漏肩风、诸般疼痛立止。
白芷（六钱） 闹羊花 三奈 大茴香 青皮 草乌 川乌 威灵仙 甘松 小茴香 大黄 独活

麻油四十两，同药入锅，熬至发化，滴水成珠，再下密陀僧研细，十一两，收成
膏再下松香、葱汁、姜汁、凤仙花汁，各煮一次，研细，五两，入膏化尽搅匀，倾
在钵内，重汤炖化，再下；潮脑（七钱），青黛、桂皮（各六钱），丁香、雄黄（各五钱），轻粉（四钱），血
竭、乳香（去油）、没药（去油）、儿茶（各三钱三分），滑石（三钱），龙骨（二钱五分）
麝香、冰片各五分，搅入和匀收贮。摊宜摊浓些贴，立刻止痛。
疮肿风湿筋痛膏药（《济生》）
桐油（八两） 嫩松香（白者一斤） 西朱（上好者研） 黄丹（飞炒，各四两） 葱汁 姜汁（各一
茶盅） 乳香（去油研） 没药（去油研，各一两） 百草霜（一升五合，筛）
先煎桐油四五滚，下松香，又十数滚，下葱姜汁，再三五滚，下西朱，再四五滚，
下黄丹离火，再下乳没，再下百草霜，搅匀收藏，任摊贴。
万应膏 贴内外诸证。
好松香（十斤） 葱汁 生姜汁（各二斤） 黄柏 生大黄 甘草 苦参（各二两） 苍术（一两）
同入锅内熬至水气升尽，再入真麻油三斤，熬至滴少许入水中，约看凝片不散，
即是火候已到，但须不时以竹片搅之，免
其巴底，随用麻布一方，过入水中，又用大缸一只，贮水大半缸，临倾膏时，将缸
周遭泼湿，免得膏滋粘缸，膏既入缸，再取起捏去水头，复入净锅内熬化，加∶乳
香去油研、没药去油研，各六两，黄蜡八两，熬化，撤去火，再入∶百草霜筛细，四
五两，均匀筛入搅匀，另用麻布一方，滤入水内，扯捏成团，平日浸水内，临用时
取起摊贴。如火候太老，量加麻油少许可也。
红玉膏 拔毒去脓。
蛇蜕 蜈蚣（各一条） 头发（洗去油垢） 黄蜡（各二两） 香油（四两）
同熬滤清。用黄丹收膏，再下黄蜡，熔化摊贴。
黄金膏 拔毒生肌。
猪板油（四两） 乳香（去油） 没药（去油，各二钱）
熬枯去渣。加黄蜡、白蜡各一两，熔化，再下黄柏细末五钱，搅匀候冷，加冰片一钱，成膏摊贴。
五枝膏 贴疮毒兼治疯气痛。
桃枝 柳枝 槐枝 桑枝 枣枝（各十寸） 银朱（四两）
麻油二十四两，将上药熬枯滤清，再熬至滴水成珠为度，以黄丹收之，摊贴患
处，如作痒起泡，即可揭去。
凡已溃者，切不可贴。
槐枝膏 贴疮疖。
槐枝（取二三寸长三百六十段）
真麻油三斤，入铜锅内熬至枝枯黑为度，用夏布滤去渣，再入净锅内，熬至滴
水成珠，入密陀僧细末半斤搅匀，再入龙骨 、象皮砂炒成珠、血余、乳香去油、没
药去油、赤石脂各五钱，研细搅匀，务须老嫩得宜，收贮摊贴。
阡张膏 肿毒已溃者，贴之长肉。
萆麻仁（八钱） 大黄 红花 白芷 木鳖仁 生地 当归（各三钱） 黄柏 甘草
牡丹皮 赤芍药 黄芩 全蝎 蝉蜕 防风 穿山甲 白僵蚕 独活 乳香（去油）
没药（去油） 肉桂 川黄连 元参（各二钱）
共炒黑色。用真麻油八两，浸三日，入锅内熬百沸，用大阡张纸放油内，提透铺
地上，出火毒，随疮大小剪贴。如杨梅疮，加活蜈蚣二条同熬。
丹油膏（毕励廷）
真麻仁（一斤） 桃枝 柳枝（各四尺九寸）
浸七日，入锅内熬至滴水成珠，滤去渣，兑入飞过血丹八两，收成膏，贴一切疮疖。
丹油膏
桐油一斤，放锅内略滚片时，不待白沫尽，即下飞过炒黄丹五两，细细筛下，候
黑色，即成膏矣，贴一切疮毒。
制黄丹法
黄丹炒紫色，倾入缸内，用滚水一桶泡之，再汲凉水满缸，浸一夜，去水晒干，
再炒如法，再制一次，务令晒干，研极细收贮，留为熬一切膏药之用。
再次搅拌均匀，连同药钵放置在潮湿的地面上，放置多日以去除火毒，之后随意摊开贴敷。
发背膏（杨廷升方）
乳香（去油）、杭粉、血竭（以鲜红色者为佳）、白儿茶、没药（去油）、黄丹（炒制一次后淘洗一次，重复九次）、银朱、铜绿（以上各四两）、铜绿（三钱）。
将每味药分别单独研磨，直到听不到颗粒声为止，然后再混合在一起。使用时，根据病症范围的大小取一块夹油连四纸，用银针在上面多戳小孔，每张纸准确称取药末五钱，用真麻油调和后摊在纸上，再用一张油纸覆盖在上面，四周用线缝好。贴在患处，用软绢扎紧。三天后将膏药揭开，用浓煎的葱汤洗净患处，用软绢擦干，将膏药翻面，用银针照旧法多戳小孔后再贴。体质虚寒无火热之象的人，内服十全大补汤；体质有火热之象的人，减去肉桂、生姜、大枣服用，同时配合饮食滋补。病情严重者使用两张膏药。
发背对口膏（杨廷升五全膏） 初起时可使肿块自消，已成脓者即可溃破。
番木鳖（用水浸泡，刮去毛刺）、土木鳖（去掉外壳）、蓖麻仁（去掉外壳，各一两四钱）。
用清油一斤浸泡，春季三日，夏季五日，秋季七日，冬季十日，用文武火熬至药材呈焦色后滤去渣滓，再将药油倒入锅内，熬至滴水成珠的状态。加入密陀僧（龙牙状且带有金星纹路的为佳），六两，研细。取出膏药后，再加入金箔四十九张，剔除杂质混入膏中，用柳枝搅拌均匀。稍待片刻，用瓷器盛水，将膏药倾入水中。用时，盛在勺内化开摊贴。膏药越陈越好，需反复炒制。
鲫鱼膏（吴近宸方） 贴敷治疗一切无名肿毒，未成脓者可消散，已成脓者可拔毒提脓，并治疗脓窠疮疖。
大蛤蟆、活乌背鲫鱼（各七个）、蓖麻仁（十二两）。
用麻油二斤，同蛤蟆、鲫鱼、蓖麻子一起用文武火熬至枯焦，滤去渣滓，熬至滴水成珠的状态，离火，加入真轻粉四两、铅粉十二两，收藏起来。临用时取膏药摊贴。
鲫鱼膏 贴敷治疗痈毒疮疖。
大鲫鱼（一条）、巴豆（四两）、蓖麻仁（六两）、甘草（五钱）。
用菜油和麻油各一斤，先将鲫鱼炸枯后去渣，再放入巴豆、蓖麻、甘草熬至枯焦并滤净，熬滚后离火，徐徐投入铅粉，搅拌均匀成膏，摊贴。
碧玉膏 贴敷治疗痈疽发背、瘰疬、马刀、乳痈、乳岩、流火、流注、肿块风毒、横痃、痔漏、囊痈、冬瓜痈、贴骨疽、一切腰背臀腿部的毒疖、多骨疽、疳疮拱头、脚隐漏蹄等证候。
蓖麻仁（去皮尖，捣烂）、杏仁（去皮，捣烂，各四十九粒）、铜绿（二两七钱，用水一碗，将铜绿研细投入水中，搅匀）、片松香（五斤，研细，备用）。
用真麻油十二两，放入锅内熬滚，接着放入蓖麻仁、杏仁，熬至滴水成珠为度，用夏布滤去渣滓，将油重新倒入干净的锅内，用文武火熬滚，徐徐投入松香末，用桃枝和槐枝不停地搅拌使其均匀，倾入磁盆内。等候膏药即将凝固时，然后加水浸泡，用手揉搓拉扯以去除火毒。另用瓷罐或铜勺盛放储存数月后，用热汤炖化，摊贴。此膏具有活血止痛、拔毒消肿、敛毒透脓、去腐生新的功效。
紫金膏 贴敷治疗一切无名肿毒、恶疮，兼治风湿流火、小儿痘毒。宜在端午、七夕、重阳、天医、天德、月德日配制。
明松香（四两，夏季用红色的，冬季用白色的，秋冬季节红白各半，用火熬滚后入水内扯拔百十下，研成粉末。若贴敷痘毒，松香需用黄豆浸泡在水中放入锅内煮化，待温热时照上法扯拔，研成细末，用量四两）、蓖麻仁（二两，研细，放在细筛罗底上，用穿山甲来回刮擦，取筛下的细粉使用，上面的粗粉去掉）、轻粉（五钱）、银朱、铜绿（各二钱五分）。
制作完毕后，用猪油去掉衣膜拌药，放在青石上，用铁锤捣数千下，盛在瓷瓶内。用时摊在油纸上贴敷。凡是贴敷毒疮，将膏药中间剪一个孔，露出顶部透气，能贴多年的痘毒；若贴敷流火，直接贴住顶部，不必剪孔。
极效膏
川乌、草乌、元参、大黄、生地、杏仁、当归、赤芍、金银花、白芷（各一两一钱）。
麻油一斤四两，浸泡药物后用慢火熬制，加入：桃仁、柳枝、槐枝、桑枝、榆枝（各十寸），熬枯后去渣，再熬至滴水成珠为度。再加银朱一两、铜绿八钱、水粉四两，入油搅匀，熬黑，再加：黄蜡、白蜡（各一两），化匀，再加松香收膏，老嫩程度适宜，入水扯拔出火毒，随意摊贴。
商陆膏 贴敷治疗疮毒。
商陆（六两）、牛蒡子、防风、金银花、荆芥、当归尾、连翘、赤芍药、红花、茅苍术、甘草（各五钱）。
麻油二斤，熬枯后去渣，用密陀僧一斤，收成膏药使用。
红玉膏（出自《济生方》） 贴敷治疗痈疽、瘰疬、乳痈等证候。
乳香（另研）、没药（另研，各二两）、蓖麻仁（四百粒）、木鳖子（去壳，二两四钱）、当归（四两）、血余（五钱）、儿茶、血竭、白蜡、黄蜡（各一钱）、嫩杨枝（一两，打碎）、黄丹（飞制，四两）、真麻油（八两）、芸香（白色嫩者，一斤四两）。
先将麻油同杨柳枝、血余、当归熬数滚，绞去渣滓，将油同芸香、蓖麻、木鳖熬熟，绞去渣滓，加入黄蜡和白蜡，膏药将成时，加入黄丹离火，下入乳香、没药、儿茶、血竭的粉末，搅匀成膏。
育红膏 治疗肿毒疮疖。
老松香（四钱）、潮脑（一钱）、轻粉（八分）、银朱（七分）、铜绿、冰片（各一分五厘）、麝香（一分）、蓖麻仁（二钱，夏季只用一钱六分）。
研细。隔水炖化，忌见火，随意摊贴。
肿毒疮疖膏药
当归、金银花、防风、木鳖子、元参、生甘草、白芨、石菖蒲、连翘、生大黄、白芷、生地黄（各四钱）。
麻油一斤四两，同药一起放入干净锅内熬枯，滤去渣滓，再倒入干净锅，熬至滴水成珠为度，加入飞过炒制的黄丹八两，收成膏药离火，加入白蜡和黄蜡各二钱化尽，再加入：去油的乳香、去油的没药、轻粉各二钱，研成细末，混合进去。随意摊贴。
救苦膏 贴敷治疗痈疽，初起即能消散，已成脓即能溃破，已溃破即能收敛，确有消肿定痛的功效。须选择吉日，虔诚配制。

第五次用好醋一斤，放入锅内，将松香化开，加入麻油二两搅匀，倾入水盆内，用手扯拔取出。
第六次用苍术、闹羊花、川乌、草乌、光乌、天南星、半夏各二两，水二十碗，煎汁五六碗，放入锅内，将松香化开，加入麻油四两搅匀，倾入水盆内，用手扯拔取出。
第七次再将松香放入干净锅内熔化，等到各汁液收干为止。
然后下入白矾红细末四两，搅匀成膏，放入钵中封固，摊贴。
千槌膏 贴敷治疗痈疽疔毒，初起即能消散，如治疗瘰疬，可连根拔出，治疗小儿鳝拱头、疳疮，久不收敛伤口。
嫩松香（四两）、巴豆仁（五粒）、蓖麻仁（七钱）、杏仁（去皮）、乳香（去油）、没药（去油）、铜绿（各一钱）。
共同放入石臼内捣两千多下即成膏药。取出浸在清水中，用时根据疮口大小，用手捻成薄片，贴在疮上，用绢盖住。
紫金膏 贴敷治疗寒湿气、漏肩风、各种疼痛可立即停止。
白芷（六钱）、闹羊花、三奈、大茴香、青皮、草乌、川乌、威灵仙、甘松、小茴香、大黄、独活（各七钱）、干蟾（一个）、乱头发（三两）。
麻油四十两，同药入锅，熬至头发化开，滴水成珠，再下入密陀僧细末十一两，收成膏药后再下入松香、葱汁、姜汁、凤仙花汁，各煮一次，研细，五两，入膏化尽搅匀，倾在钵内，隔水炖化，再下入：潮脑（七钱）、青黛、桂皮（各六钱）、丁香、雄黄（各五钱）、轻粉（四钱）、血竭、乳香（去油）、没药（去油）、儿茶（各三钱三分）、滑石（三钱）、龙骨（二钱五分）、麝香、冰片各五分，搅入和匀收贮。摊贴时宜摊厚一些，立刻止痛。
疮肿风湿筋痛膏药（出自《济生方》）
桐油（八两）、嫩松香（白色者一斤）、西朱（上好者研细）、黄丹（飞炒，各四两）、葱汁、姜汁（各一茶盅）、乳香（去油研细）、没药（去油研细，各一两）、百草霜（一升五合，筛过）。
先煎桐油四五滚，下松香，又十几滚，下葱姜汁，再三五滚，下西朱，再四五滚，下黄丹离火，再下乳香、没药，再下百草霜，搅匀收藏，随意摊贴。
万应膏 贴敷治疗内外各种证候。
好松香（十斤）、葱汁、生姜汁（各二斤）、黄柏、生大黄、甘草、苦参（各二两）、苍术（一两）。
同入锅内熬至水气升尽，再入真麻油三斤，熬至滴少许入水中，约看凝片不散，即是火候已到，但须不时以竹片搅拌，以免粘底。随用麻布一方，过滤入水中，又用大缸一只，贮水大半缸，临倾膏时，将缸周遭泼湿，免得膏滋粘缸。膏既入缸，再取起捏去水分，复入干净锅内熬化，加入：去油研细的乳香、去油研细的没药，各六两，黄蜡八两，熬化，撤去火，再入：筛细的百草霜，四五两，均匀筛入搅匀，另用麻布一方，过滤入水内，扯捏成团，平日浸在水内，临用时取起摊贴。如果火候太老，酌情加少量麻油即可。
红玉膏 拔毒去脓。
蛇蜕、蜈蚣（各一条）、头发（洗去油垢）、黄蜡（各二两）、香油（四两）。
同熬滤清。用黄丹收膏，再下黄蜡，熔化摊贴。
黄金膏 拔毒生肌。
猪板油（四两）、乳香（去油）、没药（去油，各二钱）。
熬枯去渣。加黄蜡、白蜡各一两，熔化，再下黄柏细末五钱，搅匀候冷，加冰片一钱，成膏摊贴。
五枝膏 贴敷治疗疮毒兼治疯气痛。
桃枝、柳枝、槐枝、桑枝、枣枝（各十寸）、银朱（四两）。
麻油二十四两，将上述药物熬枯滤清，再熬至滴水成珠为度，以黄丹收之，摊贴患处。如果作痒起泡，即可揭去。
凡已经溃破的疮口，切不可贴。
槐枝膏 贴敷治疗疮疖。
槐枝（取二三寸长三百六十段）。
真麻油三斤，放入铜锅内熬至枝条枯黑为度，用夏布滤去渣滓，再入干净锅，熬至滴水成珠，入密陀僧细末半斤搅匀，再入龙骨、象皮砂炒成珠、血余、乳香去油、没药去油、赤石脂各五钱，研细搅匀，务必老嫩适宜，收贮摊贴。
阡张膏 肿毒已溃破者，贴之可促进长肉。
蓖麻仁（八钱）、大黄、红花、白芷、木鳖仁、生地、当归（各三钱）、黄柏、甘草、牡丹皮、赤芍药、黄芩、全蝎、蝉蜕、防风、穿山甲、白僵蚕、独活、乳香（去油）、没药（去油）、肉桂、川黄连、元参（各二钱）。
共同炒至黑色。用真麻油八两，浸泡三日，入锅内熬一百沸，用大阡张纸放油内，提透铺在地上，出火毒，根据疮口大小剪贴。如果是杨梅疮，加活蜈蚣二条同熬。
丹油膏（毕励廷方）
真麻仁（一斤）、桃枝、柳枝（各四尺九寸）。
浸泡七日，入锅内熬至滴水成珠，滤去渣滓，兑入飞过血丹八两，收成膏药，贴敷一切疮疖。
丹油膏
桐油一斤，放锅内略滚片刻，不待白沫尽，即下飞过炒黄丹五两，细细筛下，候黑色，即成膏矣，贴敷一切疮毒。
制黄丹法
黄丹炒至紫色，倾入缸内，用滚水一桶泡之，再汲凉水满缸，浸一夜，去水晒干，再炒如法，再制一次，务必令其晒干，研极细收贮，留为熬制一切膏药之用。

Fabei Ointment (Formula by Yang Tingsheng)
Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae - de-oiled), Hangfen (Rice Powder), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood, Sanguis Draconis - choose fresh red ones), Baiercha (White Child's Tea, Calami Rhizoma processed), Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha - de-oiled), Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium - stir-fried once and washed once, repeated nine times), Yinzhu (Cinnabar, Stibnite processed), Tonglv (Malachite, Malachitum - each 4 liang), Tonglv (3 qian).
Grind each ingredient separately until no sound is heard from grinding, then mix them together. When using, take a piece of Jia You Lian Si Zhi paper according to the size of the lesion, poke many small holes with a silver needle, weigh exactly 5 qian of the medicinal powder per sheet, mix with genuine Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) to spread on the paper, cover with another piece of oil paper, and sew the edges well with thread. Apply to the affected area, tie tightly with soft silk gauze. After three days, remove the ointment, wash the area thoroughly with strong decoction of Scallion (Cong Bai, Allii Fistulosi Bulbus), dry with soft silk gauze, turn the ointment over, poke many small holes with a silver needle as before, and reapply. For patients without heat signs (internal deficiency cold), take Shiquan Dabu Tang (Decoction for Ten Hundred Tonifying Deficiencies); for patients with heat signs, remove Rougui (Cinnamon Bark, Cinnamomi Cortex), Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger, Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), and Dazao (Jujube, Zizyphi Fructus) when taking it internally, and supplement with diet. For severe cases, use two sheets.
Fabei Duikou Ointment (Yang Tingsheng's Wuquan Ointment) Causes initial swelling to resolve spontaneously; if abscessed, promotes suppuration and drainage.
Fanmubie (Strychnos Seed, Strychni Semen - soaked in water, remove hairs), Tumubie (Acanthognathus Seed, Acanthopanacis Radix processed), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - remove shells, each 1 liang 4 qian).
Soak in 1 jin of clear sesame oil: 3 days in spring, 5 days in summer, 7 days in autumn, 10 days in winter. Boil over mild-to-strong fire until ingredients are scorched, filter out dregs, return oil to the pot, boil until a drop forms a bead in water. Add Miduoseng (Litharge, Lithargyrum - preferably dragon-tooth shaped with gold stars), 6 liang, grind finely. Take the ointment out, add 49 pieces of Jinbo (Gold Leaf, Aurum Folium), remove impurities, mix into the ointment, stir evenly with a willow branch. Wait slightly, pour into water in a porcelain vessel. When using, melt in a spoon and spread. The older the ointment, the better; stir-fry repeatedly.
Jiyu Ointment (Formula by Wu Jincheng) Applied to all unnamed swellings and toxins; dissipates unformed masses, extracts toxins and promotes pus discharge in formed abscesses; also treats pustular sores and boils.
Da Hamato (Large Toad, Bufo bufo gargarizans skin), Huo Wu Bei Ji Yu (Live Black-backed Crucian Carp, Carassius auratus - each 7), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - 12 liang).
Boil 2 jin of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) with toads, carp, and castor beans over mild-to-strong fire until scorched, filter out dregs, boil until a drop forms a bead in water, remove from fire, add Zhen Qingfen (Calomel, Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite - 4 liang) and Qianfen (Lead Carbonate, Plumbum Carbonas - 12 liang), store. When using, spread and apply.
Jiyu Ointment Applied to carbuncles, toxins, sores, and boils.
Da Ji Yu (Large Crucian Carp, Carassius auratus - 1 fish), Badou (Croton Seed, Crotonis Tiglii Semen - 4 liang), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - 6 liang), Gancao (Licorice Root, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma - 5 qian).
Use 1 jin of Rapeseed Oil (Brassicae Semis Oleum) and 1 jin of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum). First fry the carp until scorched, remove dregs, then add Badou, Bimaren, and Gancao, boil until scorched, filter cleanly, boil rolling, remove from fire, slowly add Qianfen (Lead Carbonate, Plumbum Carbonas), stir evenly to form ointment, spread and apply.
Biyu Ointment Applied to carbuncles, mastoiditis, scrofula, breast abscesses, breast cancer, flowing fire, flowing nodules, wind-toxin masses, hard chancres, hemorrhoids and fistulas, scrotal abscesses, winter melon abscesses, adherent bone carbuncles, all toxic sores on waist, back, buttocks, and legs, multiple bone exudations, gan sore arching head, hidden foot ulcers, etc.
Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - remove skin and tips, pound to paste), Xingren (Apricot Kernel, Armeniacae Semen Amarum - remove skin, pound to paste, each 49 grains), Tonglv (Malachite, Malachitum - 2 liang 7 qian, dissolve in 1 bowl of water after grinding finely), Pian Songxiang (Plate Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina - 5 jin, grind finely, ready for use).
Heat 12 liang of genuine Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) in a pot until boiling, add Bimaren and Xingren, boil until a drop forms a bead in water, filter through linen cloth, return oil to clean pot, boil over mild-to-strong fire, slowly add Songxiang powder, stir constantly with peach and locust branches, pour into ceramic basin. When ointment is about to solidify, add water and soak, knead and pull by hand to remove fire toxicity. Store in ceramic jar or copper ladle for several months. Before use, melt with hot water soup and spread. This ointment invigorates blood, relieves pain, extracts toxins, reduces swelling, consolidates toxins, promotes pus discharge, removes necrotic tissue, and generates new flesh.
Zijin Ointment Applied to all unnamed swellings and toxins, malignant sores; also treats rheumatic flowing fire and pediatric smallpox toxin. Best compounded on Dragon Boat Festival, Qixi Festival, Double Ninth Festival, Tianyi, Tiande, and Yuede days.
Ming Songxiang (Clear Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina - 4 liang; use red in summer, white in winter, half-red half-white in autumn/winter; boil over fire, pull in water 100+ times, grind to powder. If applying to smallpox toxin, soak pine rosin in soybean water, boil until melted, warm, pull as above, grind fine, 4 liang), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - 2 liang, grind fine, place on fine sieve, scrape with Pangolin Scale (Manis Pentadactyla Squama) back and forth, use sifted fine powder, discard coarse residue), Qingfen (Calomel, Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite - 5 qian), Yinzhu (Cinnabar, Stibnite processed), Tonglv (Malachite, Malachitum - each 2 qian 5 fen).
After preparation, mix medicine with defatted lard (Zhu You, Sus Fat) on bluestone, hammer thousands of times, store in porcelain bottle. Spread on oil paper when using. For toxic sores, cut a hole in the center of the ointment to expose the top for ventilation; suitable for long-term smallpox toxin application. For flowing fire, cover the top completely without cutting a hole.
Jixiao Ointment
Chuanwu (Aconite Root, Aconiti Radix), Caowu (Aconite Root, Aconiti Radix), Yuan Shen (Scrophularia Root, Scrophulariae Radix), Dahuang (Rhubarb Root, Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Shengdi (Rehmannia Root, Rehmanniae Radix), Xingren (Apricot Kernel, Armeniacae Semen Amarum), Danggui (Angelica Root, Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Chishao (Red Peony Root, Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Jinyinhua (Honeysuckle Flower, Lonicerae Japonicae Flos), Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix - each 1 liang 1 qian).
Soak herbs in 1 jin 4 liang of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), simmer slowly. Add: Taoren (Peach Kernel, Persicae Semen), Liuzhi (Willow Twig, Salicis Ramulus), Huaizhi (Locust Twig, Gleditsiae Sinensis Ramulus), Sangzhi (Mulberry Twig, Mori Ramulus), Yuzhi (Elm Twig, Ulmi Ramulus - each 10 cun). Boil until scorched, filter dregs, boil again until a drop forms a bead in water. Add Yinzhu (Cinnabar, Stibnite processed - 1 liang), Tonglv (Malachite, Malachitum - 8 qian), Shufen (Lead White, Plumbum Carbonas - 4 liang), mix in oil, boil black. Add Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava) and Baila (White Beeswax, Cera Alba - each 1 liang), melt evenly. Add Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina) to finish. Adjust consistency appropriately, pull in water to remove fire toxicity, spread as needed.
Shanglu Ointment Applied to sores and toxins.

Boil 2 jin of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) until scorched, filter dregs. Add 1 jin of Miduoseng (Litharge, Lithargyrum) to form ointment.
Hongyu Ointment (From *Jisheng Fang*) Applied to carbuncles, scrofula, breast abscesses, etc.
Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae - grind separately), Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha - grind separately, each 2 liang), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - 400 grains), Mubiezi (Momordica Seed, Momordicae Semen - remove shell, 2 liang 4 qian), Danggui (Angelica Root, Angelicae Sinensis Radix - 4 liang), Xuyu (Burnt Hair, Capillus Carbonisatum - 5 qian), Ercha (Child's Tea, Calami Rhizoma processed), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood, Sanguis Draconis), Baila (White Beeswax, Cera Alba), Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava - each 1 qian), Nen Yangzhi (Young Willow Twig, Salicis Ramulus - 1 liang, crushed), Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium - refined, 4 liang), Zhen Mayou (Genuine Sesame Oil, Sesamum indicum Oleum - 8 liang), Yunxiang (Rue Leaf, Rutae Fructus - white and tender, 1 jin 4 liang).
First boil Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) with willow/yang twigs, burnt hair, and Danggui (Angelica Root, Angelicae Sinensis Radix) for several boils, strain dregs. Boil oil with Yunxiang (Rue Leaf, Rutae Fructus), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen), and Mubiezi (Momordica Seed, Momordicae Semen) until cooked, strain dregs. Add Baila (White Beeswax, Cera Alba) and Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava). When ointment is nearly formed, add Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium), remove from fire, add powders of Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae), Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha), Ercha (Child's Tea, Calami Rhizoma processed), and Xuexie (Dragon's Blood, Sanguis Draconis), stir evenly to form ointment.
Yuhong Ointment Applied to swollen toxins and boils.
Lao Songxiang (Old Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina - 4 qian), Chaonao (Camphor, Camphora - 1 qian), Qingfen (Calomel, Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite - 8 fen), Yinzhu (Cinnabar, Stibnite processed - 7 fen), Tonglv (Malachite, Malachitum), Bingpian (Borneol, Borneolum Syntheticum - each 1 liang 5 fen), Shexiang (Musk, Moschus - 1 fen), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - 2 qian, only 1 liang 6 fen in summer).
Grind finely. Melt over double boiler, avoid direct fire, spread as needed.
Zhongdu Chuangjie Yaoyao
Danggui (Angelica Root, Angelicae Sinensis Radix), Jinyinhua (Honeysuckle Flower, Lonicerae Japonicae Flos), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, Saposhnikoviae Radix), Mubiezi (Momordica Seed, Momordicae Semen), Yuan Shen (Scrophularia Root, Scrophulariae Radix), Sheng Gancao (Raw Licorice Root, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Baiji (Bletilla Rhizome, Bletillae Rhizoma), Shichangpu (Acorus Rhizome, Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma), Lianqiao (Forsythia Fruit, Forsythiae Fructus), Sheng Dahuang (Raw Rhubarb Root, Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Sheng Dihuang (Raw Rehmannia Root, Rehmanniae Radix - each 4 qian).
Boil 1 jin 4 liang of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) with herbs in a clean pot until scorched, filter dregs, return to clean pot, boil until a drop forms a bead in water. Add 8 liang of refined fried Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium), form ointment, remove from fire. Add 2 qian each of Baila (White Beeswax, Cera Alba) and Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava) until melted. Add: de-oiled Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae), de-oiled Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha), Qingfen (Calomel, Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite - each 2 qian), grind fine, mix in. Spread as needed.
Jiuku Ointment Applied to early-stage carbuncles to dissipate, formed abscesses to drain, and open wounds to heal. Truly effective in reducing swelling and relieving pain. Must be compounded on auspicious days with devotion.
Shengjiang (Fresh Ginger, Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens), Dasuantou (Garlic Bulb, Allii Sativi Bulbus), Huaizhi (Locust Twig, Gleditsiae Sinensis Ramulus - sun-facing, each 1 jin), Congbai (Scallion White, Allii Fistulosi Bulbus - 0.5 jin), Huajiao (Sichuan Pepper, Zanthoxyli Pericarpium - remove seeds, 2 liang), Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium - water-refined, 2 jin).
Boil 4 jin of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) over mild-to-strong fire until scorched, filter dregs, reheat. Stir constantly with peach and willow branches until a drop forms a bead in water. Add refined Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium), stir evenly, cool, remove, spread and apply.
Hong Gaoyao Applied to left/right paralysis, bone and tendon pain, frozen shoulder, traumatic injuries.
Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina - 5 jin, soak in child's urine for 3 months, take out and dry. If not possible for 3 months, melt pine rosin, pour into child's urine, take out, melt again, repeat 9 times, then boil in water and use).
1st time: Use 10 jin scallions, extract 3 bowls of juice, put in pot, melt Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), add 4 liang Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), stir, pour into water basin, pull by hand.
2nd time: Use 10 jin fresh ginger, extract 3 bowls of juice, put in pot, melt Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), add 2 liang Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), stir, pour into water basin, pull by hand.
3rd time: Use 1 sheng mung beans, boil to get 3 bowls of juice, put in pot, melt Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), add 2 liang Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), stir, pour into water basin, pull by hand.
4th time: Use 1 jin rice wine, put in pot, melt Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), add 2 liang Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), stir, pour into water basin, pull by hand.
5th time: Use 1 jin good vinegar, put in pot, melt Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), add 2 liang Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), stir, pour into water basin, pull by hand.
6th time: Use Cangzhu (Atractylodes Rhizome, Atractylodis Rhizoma), Yaoyanghua (Datura Flower, Daturae Flos), Chuanwu (Aconite Root, Aconiti Radix), Caowu (Aconite Root, Aconiti Radix), Guangwu (Aconite Root, Aconiti Radix), Tiannanxing (Arisaema Tuber, Arisaematis Rhizoma), Banxia (Pinellia Tuber, Pinelliae Rhizoma - each 2 liang), 20 bowls of water, decoct to 5-6 bowls of juice, put in pot, melt Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), add 4 liang Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), stir, pour into water basin, pull by hand.
7th time: Melt Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina) again in clean pot until juices are dried up.
Then add 4 liang of Bai Fanhong (Alum Red, Alumen Rubrum) fine powder, stir evenly to form ointment, seal in mortar, spread and apply.
Qianchui Ointment Applied to carbuncles, furuncles, and carbuncles; dissipates at onset; extracts scrofula roots; treats pediatric eel-head sores and gan sores with non-healing wounds.
Nen Songxiang (Young Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina - 4 liang), Badou Ren (Croton Kernel, Crotonis Tiglii Semen - 5 grains), Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - 7 qian), Xingren (Apricot Kernel, Armeniacae Semen Amarum - remove skin), Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae - de-oiled), Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha - de-oiled), Tonglv (Malachite, Malachitum - each 1 qian).
Put together in stone mortar, pound over 2000 times to form ointment. Take out, soak in clear water. When using, pinch into thin slices according to sore size, apply to sore, cover with silk gauze.
Zijin Ointment Applied to cold-dampness qi, frozen shoulder, various pains; stops pain immediately.
Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix - 6 qian), Yaoyanghua (Datura Flower, Daturae Flos), Sanai (Kaempferia Galanga Rhizome, Kaempferiae Rhizoma), Da Huixiang (Star Anise, Illicii Fructus), Qingpi (Green Tangerina Peel, Citri Reticulatae Pericarpium Viride), Caowu (Aconite Root, Aconiti Radix), Chuanwu (Aconite Root, Aconiti Radix), Weilingxian (Synephila Stem, Synephyti Caulis), Gansong (Sweet Bay Leaf, Litseae Folium), Xiao Huixiang (Fennel Fruit, Foeniculi Fructus), Dahuang (Rhubarb Root, Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Duhuo (Angelica Pubescens Root, Angelicae Pubescentis Radix - each 7 qian), Ganchan (Dry Toad, Bufo bufo gargarizans skin - 1), Luantoufa (Tangled Human Hair, Capillus Humilis - 3 liang).
Boil 40 liang of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) with herbs until hair dissolves and a drop forms a bead in water. Add 11 liang of finely ground Miduoseng (Litharge, Lithargyrum), form ointment. Then add Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), Congzhi (Scallion Juice, Allii Fistulosi Juice), Jiangzhi (Ginger Juice, Zingiberis Juice), Fengxianhua Juice (Impatiens Juice, Impatiens Juice), boil each once, grind fine, 5 liang, melt into ointment, stir evenly, pour into mortar. Melt over double boiler. Then add: Chaonao (Camphor, Camphora - 7 qian), Qingdai (Indigo Naturalis, Indicum), Guipi (Cinnamon Bark, Cinnamomi Cortex - each 6 qian), Dingxiang (Clove, Caryophylli Flos), Xionghuang (Realgar, Realgar), Qingfen (Calomel, Hydrargyri Chloridum Mite - each 5 qian), Xuexie (Dragon's Blood, Sanguis Draconis), Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae - de-oiled), Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha - de-oiled), Ercha (Child's Tea, Calami Rhizoma processed - each 3 qian 3 fen), Huashi (Talcum, Talcum - 3 qian), Longgu (Fossilized Bone, Os Draconis - 2 qian 5 fen), Shexiang (Musk, Moschus), Bingpian (Borneol, Borneolum Syntheticum - each 5 fen). Stir evenly, store. Spread thickly for immediate pain relief.
Chuangzhong Fengshi Jintong Yaoyao (From *Jisheng Fang*)
Tongyou (Tung Oil, Verniciae Oleum - 8 liang), Nen Songxiang (Young Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina - white, 1 jin), Xizhu (Western Cinnabar, Stibnite processed - grind fine), Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium - refined and fried, each 4 liang), Congzhi (Scallion Juice, Allii Fistulosi Juice), Jiangzhi (Ginger Juice, Zingiberis Juice - each 1 tea cup), Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae - de-oiled and ground), Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha - de-oiled and ground, each 1 liang), Baicaoshuang (Herbal Ash, Cinereus - 1 sheng 5 he, sifted).
Boil Tung Oil (Verniciae Oleum) 4-5 times, add Songxiang (Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina), boil 10+ more times, add Congzhi (Scallion Juice, Allii Fistulosi Juice) and Jiangzhi (Ginger Juice, Zingiberis Juice), boil 3-5 more times, add Xizhu (Western Cinnabar, Stibnite processed), boil 4-5 more times, add Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium), remove from fire, add Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae) and Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha), add Baicaoshuang (Herbal Ash, Cinereus), stir evenly, store, spread as needed.
Wanying Ointment Applied to internal and external conditions.
Hao Songxiang (Good Pine Rosin, Pinus Resina - 10 jin), Congzhi (Scallion Juice, Allii Fistulosi Juice), Shengjiangzhi (Fresh Ginger Juice, Zingiberis Rhizoma Recens Juice - each 2 jin), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, Phellodendri Cortex), Sheng Dahuang (Raw Rhubarb Root, Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Gancao (Licorice Root, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Kushen (Sophora Root, Sophorae Flavescentis Radix - each 2 liang), Cangzhu (Atractylodes Rhizome, Atractylodis Rhizoma - 1 liang).
Boil in pot until water vapor is gone, add 3 jin of genuine Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum), boil until a few drops form a stable film in water (indicating correct heat). Stir occasionally with bamboo slice to prevent sticking. Filter through linen cloth into water. Use a large vat half-filled with water; wet the vat rim before pouring to prevent sticking. Remove ointment from vat, squeeze out water, return to clean pot to melt. Add: de-oiled ground Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae) and Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha - each 6 liang), 8 liang Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava), melt, remove fire. Add: sifted Baicaoshuang (Herbal Ash, Cinereus - 4-5 liang), sift evenly, stir. Filter through linen cloth into water, knead into a ball, soak in water daily. When using, take out and spread. If too hard, add a little Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum).
Hongyu Ointment Extracts toxins and pus.
Shetui (Snake Slough, Serpentis Cutis), Wugong (Centipede, Scolopendra - each 1 strip), Toufa (Hair, Capillus Humilis - wash to remove grease), Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava - each 2 liang), Xiangyou (Sesame Oil, Sesamum indicum Oleum - 4 liang).
Boil together, filter clear. Use Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium) to form ointment, add Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava), melt, spread and apply.
Huangjin Ointment Extracts toxins and generates muscle.
Zhu Banyou (Pork Back Fat, Sus Fat - 4 liang), Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae - de-oiled), Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha - de-oiled, each 2 qian).
Boil until scorched, filter dregs. Add 1 liang each of Huangla (Yellow Beeswax, Cera Flava) and Baila (White Beeswax, Cera Alba), melt. Add 5 qian of Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, Phellodendri Cortex) fine powder, stir, cool. Add 1 qian Bingpian (Borneol, Borneolum Syntheticum), form ointment, spread and apply.
Wuzhi Ointment Applied to sores and toxins; also treats wind-pain.
Taozhi (Peach Twig, Pruni Ramulus), Liuzhi (Willow Twig, Salicis Ramulus), Huaizhi (Locust Twig, Gleditsiae Sinensis Ramulus), Sangzhi (Mulberry Twig, Mori Ramulus), Zaozhi (Jujube Twig, Zizyphi Spinae Praeparatus Ramulus - each 10 cun), Yinzhu (Cinnabar, Stibnite processed - 4 liang).
Boil 24 liang of Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) with herbs until scorched, filter clear, boil until a drop forms a bead in water. Use Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium) to form ointment, spread on affected area. If itching or blistering occurs, remove immediately.
Do not apply to already ulcerated wounds.
Huai Zhi Gao Applied to sores and boils.
Huai Zhi (Locust Twig, Gleditsiae Sinensis Ramulus - cut 2-3 cun long, 360 segments).
Boil 3 jin of genuine Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) in copper pot until branches are scorched black, filter through linen cloth, return to clean pot, boil until a drop forms a bead in water. Add 0.5 jin of Miduoseng (Litharge, Lithargyrum) fine powder, stir. Add 5 qian each of Longgu (Fossilized Bone, Os Draconis), Xiangpi (Elephant Skin, Elephas Corium sand-fried), Xuyu (Burnt Hair, Capillus Carbonisatum), de-oiled Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae), de-oiled Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha), Chishizhi (Red Halloysite, Halloysitum Rubrum), grind fine, stir evenly. Ensure appropriate consistency, store, spread and apply.
Qian Zhang Gao Applied to ulcerated swellings to promote granulation.
Bimaren (Castor Bean, Ricini Semen - 8 qian), Dahuang (Rhubarb Root, Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Honghua (Safflower, Carthami Flos), Baizhi (Angelica Dahurica Root, Angelicae Dahuricae Radix), Mubie Ren (Momordica Kernel, Momordicae Semen), Shengdi (Rehmannia Root, Rehmanniae Radix), Danggui (Angelica Root, Angelicae Sinensis Radix - each 3 qian), Huangbai (Phellodendron Bark, Phellodendri Cortex), Gancao (Licorice Root, Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma), Mudanpi (Tree Peony Bark, Moutan Cortex), Chishaoyao (Red Peony Root, Paeoniae Radix Rubra), Huangqin (Scutellaria Root, Scutellariae Radix), Quanxie (Scorpion, Scorpio), Chantui (Cicada Slough, Cryptotympanae Pergamenus), Fangfeng (Saposhnikovia Root, Saposhnikoviae Radix), Chuanshanjia (Pangolin Scale, Manis Pentadactyla Squama), Bai Jiangcan (White Silkworm, Bombyx Batryticatus), Duhuo (Angelica Pubescens Root, Angelicae Pubescentis Radix), de-oiled Xiangru (Frankincense, Resina Commiphorae), de-oiled Moyao (Myrrh, Myrrha), Rougui (Cinnamon Bark, Cinnamomi Cortex), Chuan Huanglian (Coptis Rhizome, Coptidis Rhizoma), Yuan Shen (Scrophularia Root, Scrophulariae Radix - each 2 qian).
Stir-fry until black. Soak in 8 liang of genuine Sesame Oil (Sesamum indicum Oleum) for 3 days. Boil in pot 100 times. Place large Qian Zhang paper in oil, lift through, lay on ground to remove fire toxicity. Cut to fit sore size. For yaws, add 2 live Wugong (Centipedes, Scolopendra) and boil together.
Danyou Ointment (Formula by Bi Liting)
Zhen Ma Ren (True Hemp Seed, Cannabis Semen - 1 jin), Taozhi (Peach Twig, Pruni Ramulus), Liuzhi (Willow Twig, Salicis Ramulus - each 4 chi 9 cun).
Soak for 7 days, boil in pot until a drop forms a bead in water, filter dregs. Mix with 8 liang of refined Xuedan (Blood Cinnabar, Stibnite processed), form ointment, apply to all sores and boils.
Danyou Ointment
Tongyou (Tung Oil, Verniciae Oleum - 1 jin), boil briefly in pot. Before white foam disappears, add 5 liang of refined fried Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium), sift finely. When black, ointment is formed. Apply to all sores and toxins.
Method for Preparing Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium)
Stir-fry Huangdan (Red Lead, Minium) until purple, pour into vat, soak with 1 bucket of boiling water, fill vat with cold water, soak overnight. Drain water, dry in sun. Stir-fry again as above, refine once more. Ensure thoroughly dried, grind extremely fine, store for use in preparing all ointments.
