救肠败毒至圣丹（岐天师）
金银花（八两煎汁二碗） 当归（三两） 地榆（一两） 薏苡仁（五钱）
水十五碗煎二碗，分作二服，上午一服，临睡一服，二剂愈。初起宜服。
牡丹皮散（《千金》）
牡丹皮（五钱） 栝蒌仁（去油三钱） 桃仁（去皮、尖，研，二十粒） 薏苡仁（一两）
白水煎服。（按《金匮要略》云∶牡丹皮散用冬瓜子仁，非栝蒌仁，盖冬瓜子仁主解毒护膜，浓肠生肌之功。）
活肠散毒丹（华真君。）治已成内必出毒，用以助其溃脓。
当归 金银花（各二两） 生甘草（三钱） 地榆 牛膝（各一两）
水煎取汁一碗，调乳香、没药末各一钱五分饮之。渣水再煎一碗，又调乳香、没
药末各一钱五分饮之。大约早服头煎，晚服二煎，二剂全好。
芭蕉散（孙钦武）芭蕉根切片焙干为
末，将猪胰子煮烂蘸药末食之。二三次即愈。
肠内生痈（《千金》）瓜子三升捣碎，以水三大碗煎至一大碗，分三次服。
小肠痈（《济生》）
当归尾 白芥子（炒，研末） 尖槟榔（小者） 栝蒌（打碎） 苏木（各一钱） 枳壳 红花（各八
分） 薏苡仁（炒二钱） 桃仁（去皮、尖，打碎，二钱） 白芍药（一钱五分）
水二盅煎一盅 先将黑白牵牛头末各等分，以生蜜为丸，虚人二钱，实人三钱，以煎汤送下。
肠痈（《秘方》）凡小肠坚硬如掌而热，按之则痛，肉色如故，或 赤微肿，小
便频数，汗出憎寒，脉紧实而有力，服此神效。
大黄（炒） 朴硝（各一钱） 桃仁 牡丹皮 白芥子（各二钱） 空心煎服。
肚痈大小肠痈冬瓜痈。（《抄本》）
白芷 绿豆 大黄（各二钱） 乳香 没药（各一钱） 番木鳖（二枚去毛） 当归尾（一钱五分）
研末，每服二钱，酒调服，以平为度。

木瓜 白芷 独活 甘草节 连翘 金银花 苍术（各一钱） 川贝母 牛膝 生地（各二钱） 当归（五钱）
好酒二碗煎一碗，空心服。至重者四五服必效。忌发风动气之物，煎时忌见妇人鸡犬。并治一切无名肿毒，一剂见
效。
肠痈胃痈肺痈腹痈神方（胡石臣。）
黄 （酒炒） 黄芩（各三钱） 连翘 白芷（各一钱） 穿山甲（炙二钱） 露蜂房（陈醋
浸数次，三个） 蜈蚣（酒浸炙二十条）
上为细末，用水或米粥叠丸如绿豆大，晒干收贮。又用生大黄为末水叠丸如绿豆
大，晒干另贮。如有前证年壮者，两宗丸药各三钱，或酒或开水送下。虚弱人前丸
用三钱，大黄丸或二钱或一钱五分服之，其毒瓦斯脓血皆从大肠而出矣。亦有从口内出者。
肠痈秘方（张景岳。）凡肠痈生于小肚角，微肿而小腹隐痛不止者是。若毒瓦斯不
散渐大，内攻而溃则成大患，急宜以此药治之。先用红藤一两许，以好酒二碗煎一
碗，午前一服醉卧之。午后用紫花地丁一两许，亦如前煎服，服后痛必渐止为效。然后服后末药除根。
大黄 瓦龙 蝉蜕 僵蚕（各二钱） 石 （此草药也） 当归（各五钱） 老蜘蛛（二个，提放
新瓦上以酒盅盖定，外用炭火 干存性）
上为末，每空心用酒调服一钱许，日逐渐服自消。
救肠败毒至圣丹（岐天师）

加白水煎服。（按：《金匮要略》记载牡丹皮散使用冬瓜子仁，而非栝蒌仁，大概是因为冬瓜子仁具有解毒护膜、厚肠生肌的功效。）
活肠散毒丹（华真君）治疗已成之症，内必出毒，用以帮助溃脓。

加水煎取汁液一碗，调入乳香、没药粉末各一钱五分饮用。药渣再加水煎取一碗，又调入乳香、没药粉末各一钱五分饮用。大约早上服头煎，晚上服二煎，服用两剂完全康复。
芭蕉散（孙钦武）将芭蕉根切片焙干研为粉末，将猪胰子煮烂蘸药末食用。两三次即愈。
肠内生痈（出自《千金方》）瓜子三升捣碎，用水三大碗煎至一大碗，分三次服用。
小肠痈（出自《济生方》）

肠痈（出自《秘方》）凡是小肠坚硬如手掌且发热，按压则疼痛，皮肤颜色如常，或微红微肿，小便频数，出汗怕冷，脉象紧实有力，服用此方神效。
大黄（炒） 朴硝（各一钱） 桃仁 牡丹皮 白芥子（各二钱） 空腹煎服。
肚痈大小肠痈冬瓜痈。（出自《抄本》）
白芷 绿豆 大黄（各二钱） 乳香 没药（各一钱） 番木鳖（二枚，去毛） 当归尾（一钱五分）
研为粉末，每次服用二钱，用酒调服，以症状平息为度。

以上研为细末，用水或米粥泛丸如绿豆大，晒干收贮。另用生大黄为末，用水泛丸如绿豆大，晒干另贮。如果有前述症状且年壮者，两种丸药各服三钱，或用酒或开水送下。虚弱之人前一种丸药用三钱，大黄丸服二钱或一钱五分，其毒瓦斯脓血皆从大肠排出。也有从口内排出的。

Zhi Sheng Dan for Saving Intestines and Resolving Toxicity (by Patriarch Qi)
Honeysuckle Flower [Jinyinhua] (8 liang, decocted to yield 2 bowls of juice) Angelica Root [Danggui] (3 liang) Sanguisorba Root [Diyu] (1 liang) Coix Seed [Yiyiren] (5 qian)
Add 15 bowls of water, decoct until 2 bowls remain. Divide into two doses: one in the morning, one before sleep. Two courses will cure it. Suitable for the initial stage of intestinal abscess.
Mudan Pi San (from *Qianjin Fang*)
Tree Peony Bark [Mudanpi] (5 qian) Trichosanthes Seed [Gualouren] (de-oiled, 3 qian) Peach Kernel [Taoren] (skin and tip removed, crushed, 20 kernels) Coix Seed [Yiyiren] (1 liang)
Decoct with plain water and take. (Note: *Jin Gui Yao Lue* states that Mudan Pi San uses Winter Melon Seed [Dongguazi], not Trichosanthes Seed, likely because Winter Melon Seed has the efficacy of resolving toxicity, protecting membranes, thickening intestines, and generating tissue.)
Huo Chang San Du Dan (by Huazhen Jun) Treats established conditions where internal toxins must be expelled, used to assist pus discharge.
Angelica Root [Danggui] Honeysuckle Flower [Jinyinhua] (each 2 liang) Raw Licorice Root [Sheng Gancao] (3 qian) Sanguisorba Root [Diyu] Achyranthes Root [Niuxi] (each 1 liang)
Decoct with water to obtain 1 bowl of juice. Mix with Powder of Frankincense [Ruxiang] and Myrrh [Moyao] (each 1.5 qian) and drink. Decoct the dregs again with water to obtain another bowl. Mix with Powder of Frankincense and Myrrh (each 1.5 qian) and drink. Generally, take the first decoction in the morning and the second in the evening. Two courses will result in full recovery.
Bajiao San (by Sun Qinwu) Slice the root of Banana Plant [Bajiao], bake dry, and grind into powder. Boil pig pancreas until soft, dip in the powder, and eat. Cured in two or three times.
Internal Intestinal Abscess (from *Qianjin Fang*)
Melon Seeds [Gua Zi] (3 sheng, crushed). Decoct with 3 large bowls of water until 1 bowl remains. Divide into three doses.
Small Intestine Abscess (from *Jisheng Fang*)
Tail of Angelica Root [Dangguiwei] White Mustard Seed [Baijiez] (stir-fried, ground) Sharp Areca Nut [Jian Binglang] (small ones) Trichosanthes Fruit [Gualou] (crushed) Sappan Wood [Sumu] (each 1 qian) Bitter Orange [Zhike] Safflower [Honghua] (each 8 fen) Coix Seed [Yiyiren] (stir-fried, 2 qian) Peach Kernel [Taoren] (skin and tip removed, crushed, 2 qian) White Peony Root [Baishaoyao] (1.5 qian)
Decoct 2 zhong of water to 1 zhong. First, mix equal parts of black and white Morning Glory Seed [Qian Niu Zi] head powders, form pills with raw honey. For deficient persons, take 2 qian; for robust persons, take 3 qian. Take with the above decoction.
Intestinal Abscess (from *Mifang*)
When the small intestine is hard like a palm and hot, painful upon pressure, skin color remains unchanged or slightly red/swollen, urination is frequent, sweating occurs with aversion to cold, and the pulse is tight, solid, and forceful, this formula is miraculous.

Abdominal Abscess, Large/Small Intestinal Abscess, Winter Melon Abscess (from *Chaoben*)
Angelica Dahurica Root [Baizhi] Mung Bean [Lvdou] Rhubarb Root [Dahuang] (each 2 qian) Frankincense [Ruxiang] Myrrh [Moyao] (each 1 qian) Strychnos Nux-vomica Seed [Fanmubie] (2 pieces, hair removed) Tail of Angelica Root [Dangguiwei] (1.5 qian)
Grind into powder. Take 2 qian per dose, mixed with wine. Stop when symptoms subside.
Miraculous Odd Formula for Abdominal and Intestinal Abscess
Papaya [Mugua] Angelica Dahurica Root [Baizhi] Angelica Pubescens Root [Duhuo] Licorice Joint [Gancao Jie] Forsythia Fruit [Lianqiao] Honeysuckle Flower [Jinyinhua] Atractylodes Rhizome [Cangzhu] (each 1 qian) Fritillaria Bulb [Chuanbeimu] Achyranthes Root [Niuxi] Rehmannia Root [Shengdi] (each 2 qian) Angelica Root [Danggui] (5 qian)
Decoct 2 bowls of good wine to 1 bowl. Take on an empty stomach. For severe cases, 4-5 doses are effective. Avoid foods that trigger wind or anger. During decoction, avoid seeing women, chickens, or dogs. Also treats all nameless swellings and toxic sores; effective after one dose.
Divine Formula for Intestinal, Stomach, Lung, and Abdominal Abscess (by Hu Shichen)
Astragalus Root [Huangqi] (wine-fried) Scutellaria Root [Huangqin] (each 3 qian) Forsythia Fruit [Lianqiao] Angelica Dahurica Root [Baizhi] (each 1 qian) Pangolin Scales [Chuanshanjia] (roasted, 2 qian) Hornet Nest [Lufengfang] (soaked in aged vinegar several times, 3 nests) Centipede [Wugong] (soaked in wine, roasted, 20 pieces)
Grind all into fine powder. Use water or rice gruel to make pills the size of mung beans. Dry and store. Separately, use raw Rhubarb Root [Dahuang] powder, make pills the size of mung beans with water, dry, and store separately. For robust patients with the aforementioned symptoms, take 3 qian of each pill type, delivered with wine or boiling water. For weak patients, take 3 qian of the former pill, and 2 qian or 1.5 qian of the Rhubarb pill. The toxic vapors, pus, and blood will exit through the large intestine. Some may exit from the mouth.
Secret Formula for Intestinal Abscess (by Zhang Jingyue)
Intestinal abscesses arising in the corner of the lower abdomen, presenting with slight swelling and continuous dull pain in the lower abdomen, are treated thus. If toxic vapors do not dissipate and gradually enlarge, attacking internally and ulcerating, it becomes a major disaster. Urgently treat with this medicine. First, use about 1 liang of Red Vine [Hongteng], decoct with 2 bowls of good wine to 1 bowl. Take one dose at noon, then lie down drunk. In the afternoon, use about 1 liang of Purple Perilla Leaf [Zihuadiding], decoct and take as before. Cessation of pain indicates efficacy. Then take the following powder to eradicate the root.
Rhubarb Root [Dahuang]瓦龙 (Walong) Cicada Slough [Chantui] Silkworm [Jiangcan] (each 2 qian) Shiwei [Shiwei] (this is a herbal medicine) Angelica Root [Danggui] (each 5 qian) Old Spider (2 pieces, placed on a new tile, covered with a wine cup, dried over charcoal fire preserving nature)
Grind into powder. Take about 1 qian mixed with wine on an empty stomach. Gradually take daily until it resolves naturally.
