疹出三日当收没，不疾不徐始无虞，收没太速毒攻内，当散不散虚热医。毒盛荆防
解毒治，外用胡荽酒法宜，虚热柴胡四物剂，应证而施病渐离。
【注】麻疹见形三日之后，当渐次没落，不疾不徐，始为无病。若一二日疹即收没，此
为太速。因调摄不谨，或为风寒所袭，或为邪秽所触，以致毒反内攻。轻则烦渴谵狂，重
则神昏闷乱，急宜内服荆防解毒汤，外用胡荽酒熏其衣被，使疹透出，方保无虞。当散
不散者，内有虚热留滞于肌表也。其证潮热烦渴，口燥咽干，切不可纯用寒凉之剂，以
柴胡四物汤治之。使血分和畅，余热悉除，疹即没矣！
荆防解毒汤
薄荷叶 连翘（去心） 荆芥穗 防风 黄芩 黄连 牛蒡子（炒、研） 大青叶

麻疹已发身犹热，毒热壅遏使之然，出用化毒清表剂，没后柴胡清热煎。
【注】麻疹非热不出，若既出透，其热当减。倘仍大热者，此毒盛壅遏也，宜用化毒
清表汤治之。疹已没落而身热者，此余热留于肌表也，宜柴胡清热饮治之。
化毒清表汤
葛根 薄荷叶 地骨皮 牛蒡子（炒、研） 连翘（去心） 防风 黄芩 黄连 元参 生知
母木通 生甘草 桔梗

柴胡清热饮

【方歌】疹已没落热不减，柴胡清热效通仙，柴胡黄芩芍生地，麦冬地骨知母甘。
麻疹发出后三日应当逐渐消退，消退过程不疾不徐才没有危险。如果消退太快，会导致毒邪内攻；如果该消退时不消退，则是虚热所致，需要治疗。若毒邪炽盛，用荆防解毒汤治疗；外用胡荽酒的方法适宜。若是虚热，用柴胡四物剂治疗，根据证候施治，疾病就会逐渐远离。
【注】麻疹出现形态三天之后，应当逐渐消退，不疾不徐，这才是无病之象。如果一两天疹子就消退了，这叫做太速。因为调护不慎，或被风寒侵袭，或被邪秽触动，导致毒邪反而内攻。轻则烦躁口渴、谵语发狂，重则神志昏迷、烦闷扰乱，急宜内服荆防解毒汤，外用胡荽酒熏蒸其衣被，使疹子透出，才能确保无虞。所谓“当散不散”，是指内有虚热留滞于肌表。其症状为潮热、烦躁口渴、口燥咽干，切不可单纯使用寒凉药剂，应用柴胡四物汤治疗。使血分调和通畅，余热全部清除，疹子自然消退！
荆防解毒汤
薄荷叶 连翘（去心） 荆芥穗 防风 黄芩 黄连 牛蒡子（炒、研） 大青叶 犀角 人中黄

麻疹已经发出但身体仍然发热，是因为毒热壅遏所致，发出时用化毒清表剂，消退后用柴胡清热煎。
【注】麻疹不是发热不出，如果已经出透，其热应当减退。倘若仍然大热，这是毒邪炽盛壅遏，宜用化毒清表汤治疗。疹子已经消退而身体仍发热，这是余热留于肌表，宜用柴胡清热饮治疗。
化毒清表汤

After the eruption of measles, it should gradually disappear within three days. If the disappearance is neither too fast nor too slow, there will be no danger. If it disappears too quickly, the pathogenic toxin may attack internally; if it fails to disappear when it should, it is due to deficiency heat and requires treatment. When the toxin is abundant, Jingfang Jiedu Tang (Jingfang Detoxification Decoction) should be used for treatment; externally, the method of using Huisu Jiu (Coriander Wine) is appropriate. For deficiency heat, Chaihu Siwu Ji (Chaihu Four Substances Formula) should be used. Applying treatment according to the syndrome will cause the disease to gradually recede.
[Note] After the measles have manifested their form for three days, they should gradually disappear. If the process is neither too fast nor too slow, this indicates health. If the rash disappears within one or two days, this is called "too fast." This occurs due to careless nursing, invasion by wind-cold, or contact with evil filth, causing the toxin to counter-attack internally. Mild cases present with irritability, thirst, delirium, and madness; severe cases present with coma, confusion, and restlessness. Urgently administer Jingfang Jiedu Tang (Jingfang Detoxification Decoction) internally, and use Huisu Jiu (Coriander Wine) to fumigate the clothes and bedding externally, allowing the rash to emerge fully, thereby ensuring safety. The phrase "fails to disappear when it should" refers to deficiency heat lingering in the muscle layer. Symptoms include tidal fever, irritability, thirst, dry mouth, and dry throat. One must absolutely avoid using purely cold-natured agents; instead, treat with Chaihu Siwu Tang (Bupleurum Four Substances Decoction). This harmonizes the blood level and eliminates residual heat, causing the rash to disappear naturally!
