Located at the intersection of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian and the Du Vessel (Xin [Fontanelle] is located on the upper forehead, two cun above the hairline, corresponding to the Fenhuai acupoint, commonly known as the anterior fontanelle. The *Ling Shu* states: "The diseases generated by the Foot-Taiyang meridian include pain in the vertex and occiput.")
Belongs to the Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian (E refers to the area anterior to the hairline and superior to the glabella. The *Ling Shu* states: "The Foot-Yangming meridian passes through the Ear Anterior to the Guest Master point, follows the hairline to the frontal skull." Zhang Jiegu stated: "Bai Zhi (Aucklandiae Radix) treats Yangming headache located in the forehead and is generally applicable for various wind pathogens." Wang Haicang stated: "Gegen Tang (Kudzu Decoction) is a miraculous medicine for treating wind-stroke of the Yangming Stomach Meridian. However, if Taiyang disease is in its initial stage and has not yet entered the Yangming meridian, this decoction should not be administered immediately to induce sweating.") It also belongs to the intersection of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian, Foot-Jueyin Liver Meridian, and the Du Vessel (The *Mingtang Jing* states: "Shenting acupoint is located directly above the nose tip at the hairline, serving as the intersection of the Du Vessel, Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian, and Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian. It mainly treats facial edema and wind-epilepsy characterized by loss of consciousness. Moxibustion from seven moxa cones to one hundred moxa cones is indicated; acupuncture is contraindicated. The *Ling Shu* states: "In heat diseases, if the face is cyanotic with brain pain and restlessness of the hands and feet, select points on the sinews, as sinews are governed by the Liver.") It is also associated with the Hand-Shaoyin Heart Meridian (The *Su Wen* states: "In heart heat diseases, the face becomes red first. 'Face' here refers to the forehead." Wang Haicang stated: "Sweating only on the head up to the neck indicates blood stasis. Excessive sweating on the forehead belongs to the Heart region and also indicates blood stasis.")
Belongs to the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder Meridian (Toujiao [Head Corners] refers to the sides of the forehead, corresponding to the protruding bone directly above the ears. The *Ling Shu* states: "The Foot-Shaoyang meridian originates at the outer canthus and ascends to the head corners." The *Su Wen* states: "Upper Heaven, the arterial pulse at the two foreheads, is used to observe the qi of the head corners." Annotation: The qi of the head corners is located on both sides of the forehead, pulsating under the fingers, representing the pathway of the Foot-Shaoyang meridian qi. Zhang Zihe stated: "Pain in the corner of the forehead, commonly known as hemianalgesia or migraine, belongs to the Foot-Shaoyang meridian. This corresponds to what Wang Shuhe described as 'rapid pulse at the cun position accompanied by headache.' If the pain persists for a long time, it may lead to blindness, caused by old phlegm in the chest affecting the three yang meridians. First, induce vomiting using Chao Tiao San (Cha Tiao Powder), then administer Xinliang Qing Shang medicines such as Chuan Xiong (Chuanxiong Rhizome) and Bo He (Menthae Haplocalycis Herba).") It also belongs to the Hand-Shaoyang Sanjiao Meridian (The *Ling Shu* states: "The Hand-Shaoyang meridian ascends vertically behind the ear and emerges at the supra-auricular angle." It further states: "The branch of the Hand-Shaoyang sinew follows the front of the ear, connects to the outer canthus, ascends over the mandible, and knots at the head corner.") It is also an intersection of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder Meridian, Foot-Yangming Stomach Meridian, and the Yangwei Vessel (The *Ling Shu* states: "The branch of the Foot-Taiyang meridian extends from the vertex to the supra-auricular angle." Shen Chengzhi stated: "The area directly above both ears is the intersection of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang Sanjiao and Gallbladder meridians, the Foot-Taiyang Bladder meridian, and the Yangwei Vessel. The area above the anterior angles of both ears is the intersection of the Hand and Foot Shaoyang Sanjiao and Gallbladder meridians, and the Foot-Yangming Stomach meridian. The area above the posterior angles of both ears is the intersection of the Foot-Taiyang Bladder meridian and the Foot-Shaoyang Gallbladder meridian.")
