不梦而自遗者，心肾之伤居多；梦而后遗者，相火之强为害。若夫心动于欲，肾伤于色，
或强忍房事，或多服淫方，败精流溢，乃为白浊。
瑞本丸（专治梦遗）
苦参 黄柏各二两 牡蛎 蛤粉 葛根 白螺蛳壳（ ） 青蒿各一两
神典为丸，如梧子大。空心白汤七十丸。却酒一个月，终剂而愈，百发百中。（《赤水玄

梦遗
铁屑研末，炒，枣肉为丸。每晨服一钱，大妙。（《卫生备要》）
一方 用乳香，指大一块，临卧时含口中，醒即吐之。数次自愈。（《秘方集验》）
丸方（专治梦遗）
石菖蒲 远志 桑螵蛸 益智 枣仁 牡蛎 龙骨 锁阳
等分丸服，随手而愈。（《赤水玄珠》）
五珠金琐丹（治梦遗白浊，能起死回生）
黄豆 绿豆 糯米 小麦各一斤 熟地半斤（各炒熟勿令黑）
加入莲须、五味、茯苓各四两，龙骨、牡蛎（ ）各四钱，白洋糖拌匀作糕。不拘时，
白汤下。或用蜜为丸，每服八钱。 鹿含草浸酒服，治梦遗神效。（《卫生备要》）
气虚白浊
黄 （盐炒）八两 茯苓一两
为末。每服一钱，白汤下。（经验方）
淋闭白浊
白茯苓四两作匮，以猪苓四钱入内，煮二十沸，取出晒干，去猪苓为末，黄蜡搜和丸，
弹子大。空心嚼咽一丸，以小便清为度。忌米醋。屡试屡验。（《纲目》）
徐芸稗曰∶“凡人欲动则情炽，情炽则神疲，神疲则精滑而梦失。故寤寐时，须制欲静
养，心无他出，默坐片刻，然后屈足侧卧，向无走失，慎勿沉溺欲海，神不守舍，致失摄生
之道也”。
没有梦境而精液自行滑出的，大多是因为心和肾受到了损伤；有梦境而后出现遗精的，则是相火过旺造成的危害。如果因为欲望使心动荡，因纵欲导致肾伤，或者强行忍耐房事，或者过多服用壮阳淫药，导致败精流溢，这就形成了白浊。

气虚导致的白浊
黄芪（盐炒）八两，茯苓一两。
研成粉末。每次服用一钱，用白开水送服。（经验方）
淋证、闭证及白浊
白茯苓四两做成容器状，将猪苓四钱放入其中，煮二十沸，取出晒干，去掉猪苓，将茯苓研成粉末，用黄蜡调和做成丸剂，大小如弹子。空腹嚼服一丸，以小便清澈为度。忌食米醋。屡试屡验。（出自《本草纲目》）
徐芸稗说：“凡人情欲萌动时，情志炽盛，情志炽盛则精神疲惫，精神疲惫则精液滑脱并出现梦遗。所以在醒着和睡觉时，都必须节制欲望、安静修养，心中没有其他杂念，默坐片刻，然后屈足侧卧，这样就不会有精液走失。千万不要沉溺于欲海，导致心神不守，从而违背了养生之道。”
Spontaneous emission without dreaming is mostly due to injury of the Heart and Kidney; emission following dreams is caused by the harmful excess of Ministerial Fire (Xiang Huo). If the Heart moves due to desire, and the Kidney is injured by sexual activity, or if coitus is forcibly restrained, or if too many aphrodisiac formulas are taken, leading to the overflow of spoiled essence, this becomes turbid urine (Bai Zhuo).
Ruiben Wan (Specifically for treating nocturnal emission)
Sophorae Flavescentis Radix (Kushen), Phellodendri Cortex (Huangbai) each 2 liang; Ostrea Concha (Muli), Gari Pulvis (Gafen), Puerariae Radix (Gegen), Viverrae Cochlea Alba (Bailuosi Qiao - processed), Artemisiae Annuae Herba (Qinghao) each 1 liang.
Processed into pills the size of a Chinese quince seed. Take 70 pills on an empty stomach with plain warm water. Abstain from alcohol for one month; upon completion of the course, it will be cured. It is effective in every case. (From *Chishui Xuanzhu*)
Nocturnal Emission
Iron filings ground into powder, stir-fried, and formed into pills with jujube flesh. Take one qian every morning. The effect is excellent. (From *Weisheng Beiyao*)
Another formula: Use frankincense (Ruxiang), a piece the size of a finger. Hold it in the mouth before going to bed, and spit it out upon waking. It heals itself after several times. (From *Mifang Jiyuan*)
Pill Formula (Specifically for treating nocturnal emission)
Acori Tatarinowii Rhizoma (Shichangpu), Polygalae Radix (Yuanzhi), Sangbiaosuo, Alpiniae Oxyphyllae Fructus (Yizhi), Ziziphi Spinosomi Semen (Zaoren), Ostrea Concha (Muli), Longgu, Cynomorii Herba (Suoyang).
Equal parts made into pills. Cure follows immediately. (From *Chishui Xuanzhu*)
Wuzhu Jin suo Dan (Treats nocturnal emission and turbid urine, capable of restoring life)
Sojae Semen Rubrum (Huangdou), Mung Bean (Lvdou), Glutinous Rice (Nuomi), Tritici Vulgaris Semen (Xiaomai) each 1 jin; Prepared Rehmanniae Radix (Shudi) 0.5 jin (each stir-fried until cooked but not blackened).
Add Nelumbinis Plumula (Lianxu), Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus (Wuweizi), Poria (Fuling) each 4 liang; Longgu, Ostrea Concha (Muli - processed) each 4 qian. Mix well with white sugar to make cakes. Take at any time with plain warm water. Alternatively, make pills with honey, taking 8 qian per dose. Deer Fern (Luhancacao) infused wine is taken to treat nocturnal emission with miraculous efficacy. (From *Weisheng Beiyao*)
Turbid Urine due to Qi Deficiency
Astragali Membranacei Radix (Huangqi - salt-fried) 8 liang, Poria (Fuling) 1 liang.
Grind into powder. Take one qian per dose with plain warm water. (Empirical Formula)
Stranguria, Retention, and Turbid Urine
White Poria (Baifuling) 4 liang shaped like a container. Place Polyporus (Zhuling) 4 qian inside. Boil for twenty boils. Remove, dry in the sun, discard the Polyporus, and grind the Poria into powder. Knead with beeswax (Huangla) to form pills the size of a bullet. Chew and swallow one pill on an empty stomach. Stop when urine becomes clear. Avoid rice vinegar. Tested repeatedly with success. (From *Bencao Gangmu*)
Xu Yunbai said: "When human desires arise, emotions become intense; when emotions are intense, spirit becomes fatigued; when spirit is fatigued, essence slips and nocturnal emission occurs. Therefore, whether awake or asleep, one must restrain desires and cultivate tranquility. Keep the mind free of other thoughts, sit in silence for a moment, then lie on your side with knees bent. In this way, there will be no loss of essence. Do not sink into the sea of desire, causing the spirit to lose its residence, thereby violating the Way of preserving health."
