Use dried old loofah fibers. Grind into powder over a tile using charcoal. Take one qian per dose. Administer with warm Shaojiu (fermented rice wine) before going to bed. Recovery occurs after three to five doses.
It also treats cases presenting with redness, swelling, and pain; formation of red pterygium-like membranes; appearance of red skin inside the upper and lower eyelids; white spots on the eyeballs; or itching in children's gan eye disease.

Grind together into an extremely fine powder. Take five qian per dose for adults, three qian for children. Administration must be on the first day of the lunar month, when the patient is hungry. First, have the patient consume fried aromatic food to stimulate appetite.

Wu
(For this syndrome, even if chronic and unhealed for a long time)
Mix brown sugar with congee. Consume continuously for several days to achieve recovery. After recovery, it is advisable to take formulas that nourish yin and tonify blood to restore vitality. Also, abstain from sexual intercourse and conserve energy from strenuous labor.
