Danggui (Radix Angelicae Sinensis) 3 liang, Guizhi (Ramulus Cinnamomi) 3 liang, Shaoyao (Radix Paeoniae Alba) 3 liang, Xixin (Herba Asari) 3 liang, Dazao (Fructus Jujubae) 25 pieces (split), Gancao (Radix Glycyrrhizae Preparata) 2 liang (roasted), Tongcao (Medulla Tetrapanacis) 2 liang.
The above seven ingredients are cut into small pieces, decocted in 8 sheng of water to obtain 3 sheng of liquid, the dregs are removed, and 1 sheng is taken warm three times a day.
Danggui Sini Tang does not use Shengjiang (Rhizoma Zingiberis Recens) or Fuzi (Radix Aconiti Lateralis Preparata) because Yin blood is deficient and minute; it is feared that using them would further deplete Yin. Moreover, although Si Ni (cold extremities) presents as cold, it does not reach the degree of icy coldness. This pattern requires harmonying Ying and Wei (nutritive and defensive qi) and unblocking the collaterals to allow Qi and Blood to circulate.

The above nine ingredients are cut into small pieces, decocted in 4 sheng of water and 4 sheng of clear wine to obtain 3 sheng of liquid, the dregs are removed, and 1 sheng is taken warm three times a day.
Si Ni (cold extremities) in Jueyin disease, if caused by deficiency in the collaterals failing to reach the four extremities, should be treated with Danggui and Shaoyao to harmonize Ying blood. The above ten ingredients are each crushed and sifted, then mixed together. Soak Wumei in Kujiu (bitter wine/vinegar) overnight, remove the pits, steam over rice cooking five sheng until the rice is done, then pound into a paste.
Soaking Wumei in vinegar increases its sourness, aiming to urgently drain Jueyin pathogenic factors, avoiding a slow-acting effect.
